In delhi the atmosphere is literally so bad now girls are being catcalled everywhere they go, there’s a lot of pollution here, quality of life is just deteriorating. That’s why I wrote this comment.

India is costly? Bhai equivalent ko equivalent se compare karo. This is Lake City Texas. Texas is like Eastern UP. And then this is Lake City. Population is only around 500 and median income is 31000 dollars per annum. This is like very very remote village in India. So compare prices to that. If you buy very cheap land in a very remote village and then spend money to build a mansion, you can get much better than this. Also, these are not made of bricks. They are made of drywall (a sheet a fiber mixed with plaster). They are not strong houses. These are known as McMansions (a play on McDonalds) in the US. If you compare like for like, property in US is much more expensive than India. Like for like means similar sized city, similar area and similar build quality. Property in small towns in Texas will obviously be cheap.

In India you pay for durability and offerdability... an home is a life time saving and an investment for atleast 2 generations. A life span of an RCC building is 100 years in India. A house in a good location in any city appritiates in india.
