Lol you have the tape marks on the rips from the soft top. Its all good, i had the same shit on mine a while back before i replaced it with a new robbins soft top. Car looks clean bro.
The wind noise has been cut down alot compared to the soft top. I used the left over trim to put it around the window and it's been great! It creaks when I come out my drive way but I'd say mainly because of how stiff my suspension is, once your on the road, you don't hear creaks unless you hit a bump. I have noticed on days when it has be 60 degree out or better, I don't hear any creaks at all. I will say it mainly creaks for me because of how stiff my car is after installing all of my parts, it's a great hardtop!
The fitment is awesome, definitely reduced air noise! I'd say if you get one. Make sure you get some type of fabric in the inside which will reduce it even more.
@@ValenciaGarage thanks man, I just replaced my tct with a ballade sports they make good stuff, oem tops are just getting ridiculously expensive. I like that its carbon fiber.
I believe the price dropped a few hundreds since my purchase. I'd definitely give there's a try. I also bought there tct in blue years ago and it's going strong. They make some awesome stuff
Owned one, leaks so bad when raining, the CF coating fades so quick, fitment is terrible (curved in), the rear glass is not OEM. For $3000, it is not worth it, unless you just want the look of it.
Can't get any better with OEM I'd say other than weight which isn't a big issue at all. I know that the revamped it after complaints with fitment and stuff. I know I have there newer version so that could be it.
@@ValenciaGarage I hope so. Before Ballade, I had a Forbidden double sided CF OEM style which was much lighter (Lexan rear window), much cheaper and no leaks. But for $3000 (after tax) they should do far better. I went to Ballade and met Alex (the owner of Ballade) and complained about it, he mentioned not to compare to OEM hardtop, even his far expensive real Mugen hardtop does the same. Since it is my daily drive, it is just the water leaks that annoy the $hit out of me, and the CF coat faded too soon.
Yeah, I know in the past from forums that they were had some issues but I had previously heard good stuff from the new one which is why I got it. It's been good for me so far, I have driven it around for a few weeks and it has been great other than not having the inside fabric which is coming soon to help with the cabin noise which is not bad at all. The exterior coat that's on the hardtop straight from them is a gel coat which will bake easy under sun, so they recommend you to immediately get it clear coated.
y’all look so similar bruh. fuckin love the hardtop
I thought y’all looked like malcom brown from the nfl. But how is it when it fogs up?
Nice s2k! How's the hardtop holding up so far? Any complaints?
I can't get mines to lock line up. Any help?
Great channel!
Love the s2k 👍
Thanks man, appreciate it!!
I’ve heard this hardtop leaks water at the window seals, have you had this problem?

And thanks bro!!
How come you guys stopped posting videos
How's the wind noise and creaking? Does it leak?

Man I been looking at getting this hardtop how you like it so far how is the fitment?

It’s been almost 2 years now with this hardtop. Would you still recommend this?
Would definitely recommend if you get the inside of it done with a fabric for noise cancelation. Other than that its great!!
@@ValenciaGarage where did you order the top and did it come with the glass or what's the cost we're looking at here? Thanks in advance.
@@marcusw3marcusw the hardtop is about $3,500 with shipping/taxes/seals/glass
Where did you get that hardtop lock?
Damn nice s2000 I’m an ap1 owner 9k!
Thanks man, 8k but still fun!
Valencia Garage damn right it is! I’d love to test an ap2 out lol
Valencia Garage check my s2000 out! I just uploaded a quick lil vid of it rn! On my channel.
Gotta drive one, I've yet to drive a ap1, but have gotten a ride in a friend's. I'll go check it out
Valencia Garage ahahaha ok!
Sick s2k👍
Thanks man!!
Looking sweet, hope that carbon fiber doesn’t do what mine did lol. Had to refinish the whole thing, the clear coat started fading.
Hey what’s up

I keep mine under a cover so I wouldn't know, when did you buy your's.
@@ValenciaGarage About 2 years ago, I have OEM hardtop now, no more searching for a better hardtop.
