Loved the lesson! Awesome! Thank you. Love Warren's soulful playing.
Thank you so much for this. I had a few warren licks in mind that I wanted to learn and some of those are on this video. I liked the first one the most. This one is gonna be really helpful
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful!
Great video. Very helpful. Love the classic Bronco shirt. Thanks for posting this.
Thank you so much !
Awesome stuff!! Thanks!!
thank you!
This is great! Thank you for this excellent lesson
Thanks! Glad it was helpful!

Thank You Jamey
You’re welcome!
Definitely got the chops! Thanks for the video and lesson. Sounds great!
Thanks!
Great stuff.....anything from that first Mule disc is great Dose too....
Thank you
John D thanks! Agreed, Dose is a great record.
Great lesson Jamey! The duellist + Les Paul sounds incredible good
Lucas Mendes thanks!!
First off, great video. Great lesson you’ve nailed Warren’s tone as well as his style in creating licks as well! Secondly, coming from a fellow DENVER BRONCOS fan as well as a fellow MULE/ WH/ ALLMAN BROS fan….. Thank you. This video will get watched possibly hundreds of times by me! You’re the man!
Thank you!
Good lord I've been looking for something like this for years. You hit all the quintessential Warren licks! Thank you so much!
Just curious, do you watch videos of him playing live and study his techniques?
Glad it was helpful! I’ve just listened to so much of Warren’s material that I’ve picked up some of these lines along the way and made them part of my own improvisational vocabulary.
Thanks for the lesson. There isn't really too much warren stuff out there. Was staring at my old VHS Hot Licks cassette from the 90s wishing I still had a VCR.
I used to have that video, it’s a great one! I learned so much from ‘80’s and ‘90’s Hot Licks videos. Thanks for watching my lesson.
I love Warren Haynes style. Thank you for some insight into how he plays. I wonder if you've seen his part in All Along The Watchtower in Playing for Change? I'd love to see a break down of those licks! Especially the beginning!
I'll have to check that one out!
i dont play guitar know i never will be able to learn but god dam good video gets a like from me
Thanks!
Would like to see some of the licks from the song Beautifully Broken!
Such a great tune!
What about opening lick of trying not to fall
Licks from the Same Thing would be great
Govt Mule version. Allman Bros version is more straight minor/major pent mix. Warren really mixed things up on the Mule version
I like both versions, learned the Mule version first, the Bros version has a smoother groove and some nice tricks, especially Warren’s part. Dicky’s lead was pretty straight then Warren started out easy and each lick became more intense
Awesome video! Any chance the tabs are available somewhere that I don't know about?
Thanks! No TAB available for this lesson. I'd recommend using the built.in slow down feature on RUclips if you'd really like to study the lines more in depth.
What's the story with your Princeton Jamey? 12" speaker? Sounds fantastic. You definitely got a nice chewy Warren Haynes thing going in this one with the LP! Nice job
Thanks! It’s a ‘65 reissue that’s been modded by Fargen Amps. It has a 10” Eminence Rajun Cajun speaker, Mercury Magnetics transformers and a power scaling knob.
You absolutely dialed in to the Warren tone also. What are you using amp/effects wise?
Thanks! I'm using the King Tone Duellist into a Princeton '65 Reissue amp.
Yea man! Licks...sure are a lot of 'em.
John Schroeder 🍦
Yes. Great video. Thanks so much for posting this. I have seen Warren play many times, so i've heard all the licks LOL but i have to say that the live version of Back Where it All Begins from the ABB live "An Evening With the Allman Bros" really blows my mind every time. So well composed and flows beautifully. ruclips.net/video/M4UFm_xhXwg/видео.html
thanks again. Rock on!
Thanks! Agreed, that live version is so great.
@@JameyArent I suppose if there was an ask in my last comment it would be to hear you focus on some of his repetitive mixolydian riffs. thanks. 🙏
You have nailed Warren's style really well,
my favorite WH solo is: ruclips.net/video/ip0y5P4m5HA/видео.html
so melodic and joyful
Thanks! Yes, this is a great WH solo. Such a fat tone!
Yes! That one and the blue sky from the same live album (both him and Dickies solos)
