Do you think Cartoon Network can return to it's "original charter"?
Absolutely. It worked so much better in the past.
Hopefully 🤞😊
I truly believe that, with enough hard work, time, and open-minded people, Cartoon Network will return to our funny tv network that we would wake up early in the morning excited to watch.
You mean the charter filled with only Teen Titans Go? Depending the situation, it's most likely...yes.
Probably. The first things they need to do are give original content a chance, make the schedule have variety, and stop over-saturating Teen Titans Go
Of course, having Cartoon Network back to the way it used to be back during it's glory days would a dream come true!
If they put out banger shows, they'll definitely have glory days!
@@TheAlphaJayShow To quote Shrek Yeah like that will ever happen
Exactly and they should bring Boomerang back to the way it was because I really miss the old Boomerang.
0:08 hello
@@sweetpalette8272 I thought the gumball movie is being shopped around I hope it’s hulu
Remember when Cartoon Network had more than 3 shows still producing episodes? I remember.
We all do.
Damn what a time it was
Hell, they were better when they were showing nothing but old Hanna Barbera cartoons than they are now.
I member!
I remember too
If there's one thing I miss within the animation industry in the past decade is the magic and charm from the 90s and 2000s media. Ed Edd n Eddy, Teen Titans, Fosters Homes for Imaginary Friends, Camp Lazlo, Krypto the Super Dog. But that's Cartoon Network, so I also have strong feelings for other network shows like Spongebob, Jimmy Neutron, Fairly Odd Parent, Kim Possible, anything that people has fond memories of.
Billy n Mandy, samurai jack, Ben 10, generator rex. Avatar the last Airbender, gargoyles, weekenders, fillmore, loid in space, buzz lightyear of star command. Also Code loyko, Oban star racers.
Chowder and flapjack
We really took those old days for granted 😭
A mix of new and Old is always good. I think giving kids re runs of the past is a good way to help them connect with the older generations but every generation does need something Iconic of it's own.
So Sometimes other ways to connect with the past is to make a show that is able to relate to people of older generations without rehashing something done to death.
Personaly I do like it when some new shows are like hey look at some of this stuff from older genres like older anime, let's try to make something that feels like something out of an old anime but use it to make the plot or story work were it just feels right. Like we even got games now and days that take from older generations like Cup head and Bendy and INK Machine and they bring back that rubber Hose feel for their games....the actual cartoon for Cuphead however doesn't realy feel like an old rubber hose cartoon it feels almost more like other typical moder shows.
I like Primal because we get that SAMURI Jack style of story telling and art style and I hope we get a third season and if not I do hope that we get another show like that in the future.
I'll admit I love Scooby Doo and all but maybe not to crazy for some ofthe stuff they did with Scooby doo as of late. mean while the old hanabarbara stuff hasn't gotte anything that feels as close to classic since they try to hard to make them look like modern cartoons and I think the art styles they've used for some is kind of ugly.
I do understand what you are saying though. But I must say this. BOOMERANG IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT OLDER CARTOONS FROM THE PAST NOT THE MOST RECENT YEAR!. I get that Cartoon Network needs to move on but Boomer rang needs to focus more on past because that's what it waas made for. they need to make more Boomerang channles and stop using them as just another channle for modern cartoons. LetOld cartoons have their time to be relished and beloeved again, they deserve it! The only way for them to truely be loved is as they were, because they are classics.
I do want the original Cartoon Network back, but I also hope the cancelled shows can be revived too (especially Mao Mao and Infinity Train)
I'm gonna have my doubts I don't know but something like this like hbo max and warner bros discover I don't think it gonna happen having new shows that people won't watch or even know it's just I don't know better off waiting and seeing it in the future.
My channel number for CN was 44 and Nick was 45
2:47 Look ma, I'm on TV O3O
I wished I could go back to the cartoon network I knew back in the 1990's and early 2000's but I know it can't it could never be like I knew though I'm happy cartoon network isn't dead. I saw from a post at Facebook that it was dead.
definitely, I want the Cartoon Network that had shows like Teen Titans, not Teen Titans Go!, shows like Ben 10 Alien Force/Ultimate Alien, not the Ben 10 reboot, I want the old CN back, the one actually worth watching, granted new CN does have some good shows such as (in my opinion) We Bare Bears, but it's not enough to counteract the bad ones
I think it would be cool if Cartoon Network starts accepting pitches from the public. One could think you don't always need connections or college degrees to have good ideas.
There should be a process for sure!
I wish Cartoon Network mashed things up had a some shows with a variety of different art styles and genres like you got your average cartoon that focuses on comedy then you got your other cartoons that focus on both action and story telling
It would be a hell of a lot of paper work but they could get some nice shows possibly similar to cancelled ones.
I don’t care what they do just bring the old shows back and finish the thundercats 2011 reboot with a good ending and execution
They probably don't want another High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange scenario, which could be the reason they just avoid pitches from the public.
It’s not that I want the old shows back, it that I want them to be actually entertaining and original, and the ones that are don’t get cancelled so freakin early.
Precisely
Yeah same with Nick I wish they would pick up better pilots
Unfortunately the corporate mindset has taken over. This means the network has become so hesitant to take risks on original IPs.
I want cool original shows... AND TO BRING SOME SHOWS BACK FOR A ACTUAL CONCLUSION
What I REALLY want is Cartoon Network making new shows with a variety of different art styles to make sure it's good enough. I'll create my own series where the art style changes in each episode
Exactly!
not just creating reboots
*Panty and stocking enters the chat*
And they need to end 'Teen Titans Go' right now!
Different art styles would be cool but...I'd really just appreciate different stories being told. Just take a look overseas; one of the most popular kids program is Pretty Cure, a hand to hand combat magical girl show that is even outselling Toei's other kids program: Super Sentai atm. I'd love to see another mecha show get made, you don't always need to go comedy with your show and always poke holes at tropes. Have the show play them seriously, have them show appreciation for the genre they're using. It's how something like Gundam has managed to remain popular through the years.
I literally stopped watching and grew out of Cartoon Network's older shows altogether for good because these stupid, toxic 90s and 2000s brats won't stop crying about Cartoon Network not airing their past cartoons
I respect your opinion man but some of those 90s and 2000s brats are not wrong I’m mean I want to see those old shows again for nostalgia
Remember folks, nostalgia is blinding and we were all much less observant as children.
We only filter the good stuff into long term memory and leave all the niggles and annoyances behind.
This is why when people talk about the early 2000s being so much more simple it’s like, uhhh, there was this thing called 9/11? The great recession? The christmas day tsunami?
Don’t get me wrong, for me they were simpler since I was born in ‘93, but social media has greatly made life seem way worse.
Each decades have their own duds, and people tend to not bring them up.
@@lifevest1 True, back then I've only heard about a bad event once every other year. But due to social media that really bumped up to a quarterly thing.
You act like you speak for every child that existed on earth.
Me personally I remember every show I watched, good and bad and what my opinions of them were at the time and what my opinions of them are now. Remember every child has a different brain and will react to the world and their surroundings differently
& yet the human mind is drawn to negativity & ragebait like yellowjackets to an all-you-can-eat meat buffet.
No matter how hard you try to put everything back together, it's never gonna be exactly how it once was.
-J.G.
Precisely
oof that hit hard
No one is asking for that, people just want it something structurally sound, like how it was before.
True. But you can take inspiration and make a new golden age as good if not better.
@@normadgarmez7026 But that certainly won't happen if it bases his ideas only on one genre and secondary ideas. Besides, there doesn't have to be any change for something to evolve.
You know personally I think it should be an evolved version of early 2010's Cartoon Network with at least three big shows leading the way like Gumball, Adventure Time, and Regular Show did.
3 goated shows🐐🔥
as much as I LOVED Shows like Adventure Time Regular Show and Steven Universe I'd just hope that Cartoon Network will one day go back to it's roots and provide new and original Shows that BOTH Kids and Adults will like
The truth is that the creators have not been making animations for anyone (not even children) for several years. They just make a simple art style for all their new shows (which is copied from adult animations) to limit the views and ideas of what animation is and to lower the demands of the new generation born since 2007 and at the same time easier to satisfy them so. What do you think is the reason that all their new animations look the same and only stereotypically comedic?
I also want the good ol' Cartoon Network return back to it's original roots before Teen Titans Go.
So the 90s?
@@TheAlphaJayShow Yup. Stuff like Dexter's Laboratory, The Space Ghost, Cow and Chicken and more.
@@Thekinggamelon
I sincerely do not see that really being a good time to look at for nowadays. So many things were different back then. If Cartoon Network is going to make all the cartoon stuff for HBO Max, then their shows NEED an overarching story, plain and simple.
I also think Teen Titans Go is completely contrary to their whole claim of going back. I think, if they really want to move forward by looking back, then they need to take their #1 show and go back to what that show is a reboot of. Season six of Teen Titans should happen. Even if it is just the one season, that is the best transition probably. Unfortunately, they canceled shows that could have been good foundation for this change. And I think they can only go out with a bang by looking backwards, unfortunately.
Me too.
@@Thekinggamelon Reruns of Space Ghost, or new episodes of Space Ghost bc C. Martin Croaker is dead.
I hope they make cartoons with actual story and action again
Again? COTC has been carrying Cartoon Network for a few years with an actual story.
I mean shows like generator rex. Or even bringing back symbiotic titan.
@@juanhaines7295 better yet that fantastic retelling of the Thunder Cats. (2010 one)
@@juanhaines7295
Unfortunately that's what ppl seem to be hoping for, but those are a pretty far cry from Adventure Time. And they also are probably still failures in CN's eyes. But they could work so well in the age of streaming imo. I think those with Adventure Time like stuff could be best. But that's not what they seem to be saying they're doing.
@@TheAlphaJayShow when you said COTC my mind immediately flashed to Battle Cats
What I want from Cartoon Network is for them to make banger shows for a new generation, that I (someone who grew up in the early to late 2010s) can also enjoy. Going back to the 2010s or 2000s way of doing things would just stagnate the network, not allowing new creatives to do new things.
Also that Kanye parody is fire.
I was always a Cartoon Network fan even when I was a kid. Even though I like some of the new shows, I would love it if the channel went back to their Golden Era.
Yes the Cartoon Network can return to its original charter in the 90s and 2000s!
We will see!
It would have to be its own channel to for that to happen,
can it can it not will found out next year
I think it COULD. But it would end that way. And those shows, focusing on standalone episodes, may not do well on streaming services.
considering I can always watch shows that CN aired from the 90s and 2000s, that's not super appealing. I'd just like shows that can be awesome and original in it's own way, shows not piggybacking on what came before, because then it's not original or neat. It's just a rehash.
I grew up during the 2010's renaissance, not the 2000s or the 1990s, and it was shows like Gumball, We Bare Bears and Steven Universe that inspired me to write me own
One of the things that I think made that decade so special is the variety. Every single show was completely different in tone, setting, artstyle, and characters. And the writing and dialogue of each show was completely different. It felt like I could read the script, with no characters, and instantly recognize which show it was from.
And that is what I want. I want each new show to feel completely different. And I have faith in the new shows to so that
Also Gumball movie is not cancelled I will not hear it lalalala I'm not listening
The late 90s, 2000s and early 2010s were the prime. CN started going down around 2013-2014.
If we are talking about 90s CN - then yes, yes and yes.
Sadly, it´s not possible. The time has passed, there were changes and it WON´T happen.
yes :/ miss my childhood sometimes LOL
As you should! I do as well. CN now probably won't be able to give you that back tho
9:13 I agree and disagree to this. As someone who mainly grew up with shows in the 2010's, I would like to see something that has the pros of 2010's shows as well as other generations before.
Pushing away all these audiences away after all these years is one of the major problems the channel sort of has. Acknowledge the others who grew up with your channel as well. Don't just move on and forget about the generations before.
*But* I also want this new decade of cartoons to accomplish what other shows couldn't do or didn't do. Use the past decades of cartoons from the channel to achieve what it was able to do and what it couldn't do while also having it's own sense of style on the channel. Haven't been able to love any of the new stuff but I *would love* to be proven wrong :D
6:33 I disagree to an extent. Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Lab are 2 of my favorite cartoons of all time. They are both before my time. I discovered them on Netflix when I was 12. I was born in 98. That isn't nostalgia talking. If those shows came out today I would love them. Alot of the older cartoon network shows have a good track record for holding up. I prefer to like things objectively than be nostalgic.
Agreed. I wasn't born in the 90's at all but I love OG PPG and Dexter's Lab. I don't care if I wasn't born around the time when they were out, they still give me a sense of nostalgia and happiness.
Been saying this for years, the most of those older shows just hold up objectively, what's missing in the newer shows is that slick expert level writing they had, but nooooo, we're just old, cranck and nostalgia blind for calling a spade, a spade and saying the newer shows aren't as good.
Same logic I can apply to shows like Spongebob. I didn't grew with Nick because of SpongeBob ironically scaring the 3 year old me with the "butterfly" (My oldest memory at that). Now I saw some of the chapters as a teenager and I LOVED THEM due to how creative the humor was and i can see why people is dissapointed by the new one.
Nostalgia can only do so much, in this case making us forget the mediocre and bad shows but still remember the good moments; what i'm saying is that there's stuff you can learn from those things that cause nostalgia, in this case how creativity can go a long way to make a show great while copypaste makes you forgettable.
i have up cartoon network when i was 22 i’m 27 now. it’s not the same vibe as fosters home for imaginary friends or the grim adventures of billy and mandy or code name kids next door or the misadventures of flapjack or chowder vibe to it anymore. new gen CN is just torture.
I would be happy if it played more then 2 shows all day until adult swim gets on
I don't want the old CN back, I just want better schedules and treatment for their cartoons
I want company’s to stop being like “It’s been 1 month and you haven’t reached SpongeBob ratings. Your Cancelled.”
Same. I want the company to stop showing favoritism towards one show while giving other cartoons basically nothing.
As long as they remember one thing don't focus dividing cartoon from kids, adults, girl, and boy and just make cartoons.
No demographics just good story telling, funny characters, and amazing animation. They do this they'll be fine
I know Michael knows what he’s doing, and I know that CN will come back around to be brighter and return to its golden routes we just need faith in them to make sure that the studio will see the light of day for new projects coming in next year like invincible fight girl, Fiona and cake, and brand new season total drama
Cartoon Networks golden age was through the Checkerboard Era through the City Era. As well as throughout the CHECK It era.
The Check It Era was cool fam
Cartoon network doesn't have its character promo
Its hard to move on cant believe i cant watch the show i used to watch on tv anymore
Cartoon Network has always been an animation channel instead of being called a kids channel. True story, growing up, both my parents and I love watching shows like Ed Edd Eddy, Ben 10, samurai Jack, regular show even Johnny bravo which was actually my dad’s personal favorite😅, So basically Michael wasn’t wrong.
I think the thing that makes me saddest is the death of creative branding. I have a very special interest in bumpers, IDs, indents, the like, literally anything with tv branding. It’s disappointing with the jump to streaming services that this creative medium of network branding in those forms, those time capsules of history, we’re not going to have them anymore. The day cable dies is the day that we lose the way we catalogue the histories of these networks. It’s just saddening to me. I’d love to have the old era of shows back, but I’ll be honest the bumpers make me the saddest. I don’t know if that’s silly, but it’s just unfortunate.
I would love for Cartoon Network to go back to its glory days when they had original content and fun and original shows. But these days I just prefer to support independent animators and artists instead of the bull crap that’s going on right now.
Didnt back then they did a whole thing for indie creators?? I think it was a late 1990s to early 2000s thing, iit's hard to remember, they had a name for it too
@@SluggedNugg honestly I really don’t know. I’m not very knowledgeable on that topic
I miss 90s cartoon network. Johnsondaypool is better.
Tbh I've given up on cartoon network at this point but knowing we are getting some new shows other than teen titans go is a welcome change.
I can't wait to see the new stuff they put out!
When I think back on what made CN, it was having wide variety of different entertainments as Cartoons. Ranging from action, slice of life, horror, silly comedy, and episodes that don't need to have bigger plots. So many art styles, different people, the creative passion, ranging from the early 90s to around 2010 era. The problem with slightly modern CN shows (not all but some few) the company would focus more on profits and silly excuse claiming it needs to marketing instead of a captivating audience and their humble feedback. Shows that make you question if they truly were meant to be this long and not end the show much earlier.
That seems to be the primary attitude for everything now. We need money and we need to advertise not actually give you the thing we say we produce everything its even in our politics
Really, really great idea to be able to have a new Batman show and decide let's do the cars
Batwheels looks wild
I just hope they put both the old and new hit shows together on the schedule it would great to wake up to classic shows like Dexter's Laboratory Ed Edd n Eddy and Courage the Cowardly Dog followed by the new hits like Adventure Time Steven Universe and Regular Show.
Boomerang & HBO Max: Do I not exist?
@@TheAlphaJayShow 1) Boomerang airs the cartoon cartoons at midnight. It's usually Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, Codename Kids Next Door and Camp Lazlo 2) HBO Max doesn't have all the episodes of every show. I clicked the Dexter's Lab tab and several episodes were missing. 3) During the day Boomerang usually airs Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, and Scooby Doo.
@@icecreamhero2375 Honestly the best way to bring CN back to its former glory is to put the classic shows back on the channel along with the new hits and finally create a new CN City for old and new generations of fans maybe even bring back old marathons and program blocks.
@@calebglasscock7392 I disagree about CN city. It's fun to watch in RUclips complications but they probably played the same few clips all the time. Sometimes I would rather just watch my show. I agree they should play the classics a bit more often.
Adventure Time is not a new show anymore. They need new new shows. They definitely can't survive focusing on showing their old old shows and then their old shows.
1:58 Me, who was expecting him to say Kids Next Door, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, or at least Total Drama Island, was reminded how not NEW I am.
Yeah,I definitely want the old Cartoon Network and the old Boomerang. I really grew up with watching the old original shows.
I don’t exactly want the old Cartoon Network days back, I definitely agree that nostalgia plays a big part of the fond memories of watching shows at that time so it wouldn’t ever really be the same again. What I really want, and what I hope they can do, is for there to be new shows that are as good as the shows from back then and that I enjoy just as much
As long as it's cheap and experimental (along with getting away from certain that was prevalent in the 2010's), you can sort of get that feeling back. You don't need the exact same thing, just the elements that made the old thing what it was, which forced to be cheap, but open to be experimental. As in get away from the thing, cal arts outlines and more ed edd n eddy and fosters and whatever else that stood out. What made CN unique was how experimental with its style vs something more in line that was nick or disney. Even adult swim just reused old animation and made something new. The old ATHF episode was pretty much photoshop in a sense. It's what made those shows stand out and it's what you remember...
That’s actually the best way anyone has ever worded what people really want from Cartoon Network; we want more variety and creativity.
Even my little brother prefers older CN, so I’m pretty sure it’s not just nostalgia.
Old Cartoon network is the best
I love Craig of the Creek. I’m sad that this coming season will be the last, but at least it’s getting a movie as well that will hopefully be a proper send off.
From this video:
-The Kanye reference to start was funny
- i was on channel 32 growing up, not anymore
- I don’t think the Gumball movie is fully canceled (yet), so that was kinda surprising to hear you say that
Great video, and I just hope CN gets better in general.
I agree with everything you've said - hoping the new shows are able to stand up on their own and the creators get to have their vision fully played out 🤞🤞🤞
PLEASE LET THEM ALSO BRING BACK INFINITY TRAIN 😭😭😭
Cartoon network from the 90s to early 2010s were the best eras of CN 😔
so nearly its entire existence?
CN hasn’t been good since 2013. Which was 10 years ago.
I do wanted it to come back because I used to love and remember some of nostalgic cartoons from 2010s like adventure time, regular show, etc.
Depends on which “old” Cartoon Network. The one from 1990-2003 was great, but they still heavily relied on reruns from the HB and WB library with less in-house content (outside of the live action BS).
I pretty much moved on a loooong time ago. As much as I love CN back in the day I'd probably still not go back and watch it even if it goes back to exactly how it was. Just hope future generations can enjoy the same quality of shows that were around back then.
I can't believe that Glitch Techs was Cancelled on a Cliffhanger!
They did what?!
Same!
Wait WHAT!!?? Oh Come On! It's such a great show I enjoyed.
I never wanted the return of the “glory days” of the 2000s to early 2010s (well aside from a couple things) but I just want CN to produce quality content again which they’ve been struggling with for a few years now
My channel for Cartoon Network was Chanel 66
Yeah! It would be really cool to have things return to the way the were before it became a mess. Now I understand the meaning of the phrase, "There's nothing like the good old days.", and it would be nice to get back to that.
I hope some of the cancelled projects come back after they get a bigger budget.
"The Gumball movie is guaranteed not to come out"
Me: NOOOOOO!!!! DON'T SAY THAT!!!! It just needs to be bought by other streaming services so it can then be released! My only hope is to see this movie!!!!!!!
Legends with verizon knows the channel is 257
I want the CNN before shit like Adventure Time/Regular show. The old days of the KND/Ed Edd 'n Eddy/Samurai Jack/Toonami and maybe some of the old stuff like Two Stupid dogs and so on, the cruder shows. While some of my most disliked shows are considered great and I'll even acknowledge that, I'm sorry but nothing holds a candle to the old saturday morning cartoon vibe CNN used to have, now it feels.... By the books.
More Regular Show pls 🙏
More Samurai Jack pls 🙏
More 'Cartoon Cartoons' pls 🙏
The scripts in the Cartoon Cartoons era were tight and hilarious too
I don't know why you hate animators? Who would subject someone they like to LA?
I hope CN will be a better for next year. I hope
Cartoon Network was channel 17
I mean, I don’t watch TV anymore.
Neither do I care about western animations any longer.
So I don’t really want anything back at all.
They lost me to the point of full indifference.
Honestly, the thing I'm *really* pissed off at is *YET ANOTHER* Powerpuff Girls reboot.
Like, it died three times already. Craig McCracken pitched like, 15 original things to Netflix and all of them got shot down - now we have to suffer through two versions of the same property with one of them under the excuse of "expanding the world" and the other one under the sole purpose of killing it.
I'm tired of seeing the Powerpuff Girls. I really am.
Update: okay, so they canceled the one that was killing it *BUT I’M STILL MAD. LET THE SHOW DIE.*
In my personal opinion, while Cartoon Network may not be able to have that old charm it had to older viewers before. That doesn't mean it can't be good again. It's easy to make shows that aren't just "lol random things happen" or "haha punching bag just because". If anything, you can easily make kids shows that can be enjoyed by adults. You don't need to make something dark and serious, you don't need to make it edgy. You need to make it enjoyable.
If you made a kids show, that has some actual funny jokes that aren't toilet humor or just crude because.. Whatever.. Then congratulations. You made a show that can entertain both kids and adults alike.
Look at Spongebob (older seasons at least), it's a show for kids. It was made for kids. Yet it had so much effort put into the writing and jokes, that it was enjoyed by not only kids, but adults as well.
Teen Titans Go wouldn't have been anywhere as controversial had they tried to make some actual jokes that aren't random for the sake of randomness, or just twerking, or trying to poke fun at older fans... Had the show, had some decent writing.. Even if it was solely comedic, the old fans would have a much easier time accepting it.
And unlike the massive "It's jUsT NoStAlGiA" accusation. The fans aren't pissed because TTG is not dark or serious or edgy. It's because it all turned into 11 minutes of unfunny "jokes", that often target older viewers.
And I don't understand why such shows are always trying to make the kids seem brainless. They would make lazy jokes about toilets rather than make some funny jokes, and before you know it.. That's the whole show. Lazy toilet humor that you aren't allowed to criticize its laziness because "it's for kids"
I mean, when I was a kid. I watched shows that were meant for kids. And none of them were so lazy just because it was "just for kids."
Personally, I prefer to watch Cartoon Network shows on streaming services, so I can watch whichever show I want, whenever I want, instead of limiting myself to only being able to watch certain Cartoon Network shows during certain times of the day. Same with Nickelodeon and Disney shows. The only thing I ever watch on live tv anymore is American football. Fly Eagles, fly.
They need more original cartoons that aren't based on popular brands (Teen titans go, We baby Bears are all carried by past shows) like Craig of the Creek. I feel like COTC is the only good show rn. We need more creative new stories that are enjoyable to all demographics, like adventure time or TAWOG
Hey! Remember when Mr. Warburton released a trailer for the Galactic Kids Next Door, and wanted to end the series on a high note!?
But the CN Execs turned it down!?
Maybe it's time!
the only reason why i kept watching it as a kid is one ninjago two adventure time three amazing world of gumball 4 regular show...now some shows r idk....the og ones r always better(i might forget some more og ones but those re some
Absolutely not while the current shows like Teen Titans Go are getting worse we still wouldn't need the older Cartoon Network their shows had a lot of misogynistic and homophobic "jokes"
I absolutely do want the old cn back.
Loving the new icon Bea!

Yes I Do Want Old CARTOON NETWORK Shows Back
Sorry, but the fact that 'Teen Titans Go' has out lives not only the original 'Teen Titans', but nearly everything else on Cartoon Network infuriates me. It's nothing more than A bastardization of A once great show, and the comics that inspired it. So it will NEVER get my respect.
Yes old cartoon Network is better new cartoon Network stinks cancel teen Titans go bring back old cartoon Network and teen Titans original until then I'm boycotting cartoon Network
For me before i got cable when i was little CN was 32 and nickelodeon was 23 then when we got cabke it changed to nickelodeon on 23 and 32 and CN was 45

It should go back to it's old days
considering my favourite CN shows of all time are Adventure Time, Gumball, Regular Show, Infinity Train and Steven Universe, i definitely don't miss what most people call "the old cartoon network" lmao. i really don't get the hype over shows like Ed, Edd and Eddy or whatever. obviously the channel is pretty stale right now but what i miss is the 2010s era, not the 90s or early 2000s, even though i was around for most of that era
I actually AM excited about the Craig McCracken PPG Reboot, but Not the CW Reboot....
roblox is a big game but has exploiters that are losers but roblox is trying to find a unexploit and I like the vid
I think this is just another symptom of the death of an era in animation. I remember as a kid back in the 90's watching "What A Cartoon" and "2 Stupid Dogs", and the pilots for PPG, Dexter, Johnny Bravo, etc...
The point is, animation then took a risk and went running the whole nine yards with it. Studios were willing to gamble and trust in the vision of their animators andnproducers rather than a bunch of out of touch, heartless board of investora.
There has been promising pilots being made during the years, like Rocket Dog or Claire, but since studios care more about satisfying the ever fickle moneybags than to build a reputation for passion in animation, well... *it is the end of big screen programming as we know it.*
I want another show as ballsy and mature as Code Lyoko with a villain as extreme, psychotic, creepy and iconic as X.A.N.A..
I think channel 32 was for a wow when I had it and it was 220 something for Xfinity
If CN makes something like steven universe I'm down with that
MAKE CARTOON NETWORK GREAT AGAIN! MCNGA!
Lol!
@TurboGamer
No, but they portrayed a character of him in regular show at the Thanksgiving special 🦃
I dunno about the 2010's. In the 90's and 2000's you could watch cartoon Network all day and have 20 different shows. 2010's felt like only 3 shows running over and over again.
The old cartoon cartoons and segments that pretty much aired pilots with a "let's just throw new stuff on the wall and see what sticks" attitude was great for creativity.
That's the time when some of the greatest cartoonists of our time like Genndy Tartakovsky started their career.
I guess what I'm actually missing is Hanna-Barbera, their absorption into the Warner Bros. Animation was a great loss for the cartoon world.
But besides HB Cartoon Network still had many shows from other studios including anime. I guess if everyone wants to make their own exclusive streaming platform
a traditional TV station has to struggle for content.
They could transform into a TV+streaming platform themselves and take on many small creators.
Commission youtube animators for example to make one season of a cartoon for their TV channel/online library to spice things up, at least
that's how I would do it.
At least what Ouweleen says sounds promising. I'm not holding out an hopes, but maybe we might get positively surprised.
I obnly have one request for them. GET RID OF TEEN TITANS GO!
My CN channel was 302. Newly sucscribed btw
Do we need to ask this question....like really😂🤣
What the WHAT? They cancelled the Gumball movie? WTF dude?!
Yes I would love to have the old cartoon network back from the 2000's and 2010's!!!
When their schedules were more varied? Definitely.
I want to have hope for something new, but all I see is another Teen Titans Go clone.
