Hey - not sure if you check these comments but thinking of following in your footsteps soon. Was wondering-do you notice the smell of paint on hot days , etc, since you painted much of the interior? I am worried that the smell of spray paint would linger...
Tbh I think it does linger and after all this time it has held up pretty well BUT at some point soon I’m planning to do an updated video where I try the paint/dye from @tye_2__success on insta because I’ve seen really good stuff about that paint
Dude this channel is so goated, I found your most recent videos first but going back and seeing it all done is sick. Also the brainrot is pretty funny but i like the reduced amount in these older videos
Thanks for the feedback! Definitely still trying to get comfortable with the style of videos I want to make and how I do them but yeah the car’s finally coming together more! Trying to use this Black Friday to stock up on a lot of the parts I’m missing
I used this vinyl spray paint stuff but definitely changing it up in the future and going to make an updated video using leather dye because I don’t love the smell or quality of the stuff I used long term
It’s pretty good I try not to scrub it when I’m washing it tho, gonna do an update vid hopefully soon trying a new method that should be a lot nicer tho
I see you removed the foam on the headliner. Did you paint it from there or did you reupholster it with black fabric? I'm thinking of removing all of the fabric from the pillars and headliner, sanding the adhesion and foam off, and painting it black with that same fabric and vinyl paint by duplicolor that you used.

I scraped it all off then sprayed adhesive glue on and stuck the new fabric on to that if that’s what you mean

What kinda paint you using? Leather paint?
It’s Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric with 2 layers of Dupli-Color adhesion promoter first and then the more coats of it you can do the better
