Couldn't the customer just have rubber sole protectors added to the existing leather soles, especially since these boots are new? Get the same grip but at less cost?

That upper is elephant leather. It looks very similar to hippo but you can see the bumps of a typical elephant boot.

How many people are still riding horses? Most cowboy boots will never slide into a stirrup.

@@jvc3312 we could have done that too yes. It just depends on what you want the edge of the boots to look like
