  • NO SPOILERS! (Obviously. It's a thriller.) Feel like you fully appreciated what makes this novel so good? Allow Kimberly to point out a few things you might have been too engrossed to notice! She was so impressed with The Gods, that Kimberly devoted a section of the lecture to a few times when slightly awkward elements--always fun to dissect--made her realize just how GOOD Moore is. I also love the book cover and that drip of pink is beautiful. It's like a blood drop but that bubblegum pink for the teenage character. I feel like you could go so many directions interpreting it other than it is also strikingly graphic.
To your comment about people becoming overly independent, I want to hear more! I think about this concept a lot, too. Do you see it popping up as themes in contemporary novels more?

Omg how did I not make the connection with the drip of blood?? Maybe that's a good thing? Ha!
