Very informative and helpful video to prepare one for nursing school.
Congratulations on your academics and extracurriculars! You did a great job on posting videos! Your video is very content! Will be earning my AA degree at a 2-year college next month. I am 25 years old. I graduated from high school in the spring of 2016. It was 7 years ago. I am working on my book which is called my life with autism and being a military child. I am working on my second book for right now. I will get my first book published after it gets reviewed next month. My two books might have the same content and title, but different chapters. I was diagnosed with autism at age 3. I was born in upstate of New York. I lived there in my early childhood until age 5. I had to travel all over the states because my dad’s job in the military service. He is technically my stepdad, but I always call him dad because he is the man who raised me as a child. I was born from Puerto Rican family, and I was raised from Colombian family. I am full Puerto Rican, and half Colombian. If you want to know which states I lived in before, you will know about it in my first book. Again, you did a great job on your video because it was very impressive! You have great content. I enjoyed watching your video. Great job with working as a nurse as well! You are very a hard worker! After I complete with my AA degree in Liberal Arts, I will train for acting. Then, I will work on my BA degree in Journalism. My dream career is to be an actor and a journalist at the same time. Also, I will be doing internship for journalism outside of college. I did a volunteer job as an office assistant at the main office in my junior year of high school. I did a shadow job as an administrative assistant 3 years ago after COVID got hit. I was in the Dean’s List three times in a row at a 2-year college. I have been studying at a 2-year college for 7 years. I had switched my major couple times. During my first time attended to a 2-year college, I have switched from computer specialists to business management. In my second time attend to a 2-year college, I have switched from business management to liberal arts. I took theatre and journalism courses, which is not too long ago. I have been working on my AA degree for 6 years. I will let you know when my book gets published. I will announce it on RUclips as well. Also, I have a RUclips channel. My name is Andres by the way! It is pleasure to meet you. Wish you are the best of luck at working as a nurse. Again, congratulations on your academics and extracurriculars! You did a great job. Your parents are very proud of you. Good luck with being a nurse. God bless you and your family! 🙏❤️
I just sent in my application! Thank you so much
Yay 🎉 good luck!!
Thank you! I found this video very informative, but I would like to ask if you must take classes before attending school.
Hi there! Since I was a freshman admit, I didn't have to take any classes before I started school. However if you're planning to transfer in, you might have to. Here is the link to learn more about the transfer requirements: nursing.ucla.edu/programs-admissions/academic-programs/bachelor-of-science/bachelor-of-science-admissions
@@honeybunnixoxo Thank you!
Can you talk about how you were able to work on a research project with ucla school of nursing while’s in high school
Hi Adriana! During high school, I was curious about research projects in the field of nursing. I took the initiative to explore the work of UCLA School of Nursing professors by reading their research papers and projects. When I found topics that intrigued me, I reached out to those professors via email. I expressed my interest in their research and kindly asked if I could shadow them to learn more. It was a great opportunity to gain insights and expand my knowledge in the field!
@@honeybunnixoxo that’s very unique. Can we chat on ig regarding this… do you find that comfortable?
@@honeybunnixoxo that’s very great! Did you have to be physically present…also can I reach out to you on any of your socials or email. I’d want to stay in touch
@@DrKwasiYeboahAwudzi yes, pretty much all the classes were in-person! Feel free to comment here and I’d be happy to answer your questions!
@@honeybunnixoxo Oh i was actually referring to the research opportunity you explored before applying to UCLA
