the irony that Kieran n the end was the only member of the main squad to NOT be mind-controlled by Pecharunt at any point is not lost on me. The theories that have been happening since the beginning that he'd be controlled by Pecharunt sometime in-game were subverted in probably the most humorous and ironic way. Penny, Nemona, Arven, his sister, his grandparents, everyone in his home village EXCEPT him.
I think the same and someone pointed out that maybe Kieran was manipulated by Peacharunt but in a more subtle way which could explain his drastic change of behaviour. If that´s really not the case then it´s a perfect example for irony.

He was a champion in Blueberry remember? He can handle a few villagers but it would be too much for Korean to handle it. He tried to hold out as long as he can while we are trying to battle against Pecharunt.
Literally, the weirdest (and kind of funniest) thing to come out of a Pokémon game. I really loved it, specially seeing the interactions between your Paldean friends and the ones from Kitakami.
Scarlet and Violet is so far the only game that made me really, really care about your friends in game, especially in this epilogue where they stepped up the interactions and dialogues. It really gives that high school/university vibe that I start to miss...

The way Pecharunt controls people to act according to a singular gimmick (in this case, chicken dancing and mochi shouting), combined with the purple aura, is very similar to Yo-Kai Watch’s inspiriting. Only real difference is that Pecharunt needs to feed someone a mochi to control them, while Yo-Kai can just use magic
I dont know why but i wished at some point the mc got posessed and now, as Kieran, we have to save everyone as a way to get a redemption arc for what happens on Blueberry Academy and with Ogerpon.
Cool detail I noticed is that the game or this specific cutscene at the beginning of the game where Penny says, “Hey, a Nintendo Switch…” the Nintendo Switch has the same colored Joy-Cons as the Switch you have in Real Life. The joycons the person have are the Zelda ones or the white Oled. I have purple and orange on mine. Check it out

Likely in 2025, it's the 30th anniversary of Pokemon and by then the Switch 2 should have been out for about a year, though I suspect they'll also release them on the Switch as the very last Pokemon games in it (they won't want to say goodbye to a platform with that many players so fast) This year I bet it's either the 5th gen remakes or another Legends.
I love how after the tragedy of Teal Mask and the pain of Indigo Disk, we got a light hearted and silly adventure in Mochi Mayhem. Lines like the 'nemona survivors club' and Kieran just being happy were really, really needed.

From what I heard that Pecharunt is still trying to get Ogerpon's masks, which are currently in the player's possession for it's caretakers, even though they no longer exist anymore. Funny that the player looks like they Matrix the Mochi while Kiki had dumb luck on resisting that Binding Mochi.
And the fact that Peonia's eyes are strikingly similar to Penny's. And another fact that her Japanese name Botan is translated to Peony, which implies that she's another one of Peony's daughters.
That dreadful chicken dance and that GRATING song accompanying... The stuff of nightmares when I played through the Epilogue. Everything else BUT THIS was awesome though - especially the confrontation between Ogrepon against Pecharunt.

I always thought of a potential love triangle with Arven, the player and Kieran. Kieran is clearly in love with the player. And Arven gets nervous asking to come over....and very jealous of Kieran....seeing him as competition (to be the players 'best friend') Even though Kieran is outright unaware of it. It just comes off to me. Arven is like thinking 'who is this Kieran guy? You have never mentioned him before. Who is he?' Especially if you chose the hesitant option. ....friend.
3:38 I friken love ❤💕💗 the part where Juliana returns home 🏡🏠, reunites with her with her old friends after who knows how long, and has a playdate with them at her house 🏡🏠. It’s a such very wholesome and heartwarming experience/moment. MLP was right, friendship really is magic 🪄.
I like when arven and penny are doing the mochi dance after they ate the mochi, 1 : Arven would think he was making a fool of himself 2 : Penny would think it was the chicken dance.
This was one of the oddest things they have ever done for Pokémon, but it's interesting, nonetheless. Though, I think this epilogue and the Teal Mask should have been part of the main story in the post game, instead of a DLC. I'm not a fan of the Terestalizing gimmick. The Paradox Pokémon were more interesting. They, the ruinous quartet, and the Kitikami legends would have made a better story, I think.
That story was pretty short compared to the first two stories. Of course, it is an epilogue, so it can't be too long. Sigh... I guess that's that for ScaVio.

This was one of the oddest things they have ever done for Pokémon, but it's interesting, nonetheless. Though, I think this epilogue and the Teal Mask should have been part of the main story in the post game, instead of a DLC.
I'm not a fan of the Terestalizing gimmick. The Paradox Pokémon were more interesting. They, the ruinous quartet, and the Kitikami legends would have made a better story, I think.
