Kips is much more out of the box living than I’m used to. I just don’t see living like that being reality if you truly live in your home. But it’s nice to look at. Your home and your moms home are both so beautiful but definitely cozy and family living. My style for sure. ❤

If you spray apple cider vinegar on the trunk at the bottom of the tree and bottom branches, the cat won’t like it….the scent will go away pretty quick and the kitty will still not like it. I have tried it myself and it worked! I have also heard that any citrus scent will work as well! Good luck! I loved watching you decorate!❤

I so enjoy your videos, you 2 crack me up amongst all of your talent. I have to tell you a little something that I was reminded of during this video. Over 20 years ago, I worked with designers as a muralist. They brought me in to work on a designer showcase house in Rumson, NJ. I thoroughly enjoyed my day working there among so many beautifully talented designers in a stunning home. Days later, and not long before the showcase day, the entire home burned down. It was heartbreaking. Oh but the memory of my day. Such a lovely place. Not long after, I was actually able to watch the camera footage (from the cameras attached to the fireman's helmuts)...inside the home, putting the fire out. It was devastating.
I get a little grumpy when decorating because I can't stand the mess. But I love my flocked tree so much. Your home is beautiful. Love your mother -daughter interactions too.❤

It used to be SO well done and inspired me in so many ways, but now I just shake my head at how exaggerated and ridiculous the “designers” feel they have to go. Yes….there may be one or two ideas one would glean from a room or two, but as a whole, no thanks.

We have to decorate our whole tree because it's by a staircase and you can see it all the way around!
