Will not work with iPhones, or any cell phone with a decent camera in it, due to their higher quality IR filters, or The inclusion of a digital IR filter. To find out if your camera can see IR light under normal usage circumstances, point a conventional IR remote control at it and see if it can pick up the light when you press buttons.

But in critical areas you will be required to take them off. To work a product like this would have to be unnoticeable to people, but interfere with the cameras.

Reflectacles actually do what these glasses only claim to do, with much better results, and no goofy looking IR LED's poking out of them.
These are ridiculous, hence the fact they never came out on the market. Reflectacles can be bought right now.

Ive been looking for a way to remake the reflectacles for a long time due to their high prices and have been looking for the right materials to use on the lenses.
They use NIR/IR transmission cuttoff material for the lenses and reflective coating/paint for the frames, both of these can be bought for a much more suitable price instead of a 180 dollar pair of glasses.

Aren't sunglasses achieving the same result? So why not build glasses with a material that is dark from one side, but you can look through from the other (like tinted car windows)?
