I adore this podcast and how it enables me to delve deeply into my studies of the Book of Mormon. It sparks contemplation, aiding me in comprehending this intricate yet just plan, making me feel closer to my Savior and appreciating his grace extended to all humanity. The magnificence of this work, achieved through significant sacrifice, resonates deeply with me. I desire the world to understand what we have and how extraordinary it is. Thank you immensely for your teachings. Keep up the excellent work.
I love hearing that strong conviction when you speak to us about the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith or any of the Prophets for that matter. Thank you for spending your time with us and inspiring us to delve deeper into the gospel and study more intently in the scriptures. You are appreciated.
Thanks for this! Thanks for your convictions and encouragement to families in teaching and passing on the gospel in the patriarchal order. To much is lost in our time as people, even saints become more and more self centered, relying upon there own efforts for progress. It is one of the reasons so many are lost. There is an order to the gospel, to His house and to the manner in which we come to Him.
This is exactly how I want to learn from a podcast-- not going through each chapter verse-by-verse, but, instead, picking out the point(s) of the chapter and driving it all the way home. Thanks for doing this; I love your podcast and have learned so much from you.
Hannah: I really appreciate you and all others here who take time to comment. There is a lot of hard work that goes into these lessons and hearing they are helping others is very rewarding. Thank you!
I really enjoy the twists and paths she chooses to teach instead of the cookie cutter material we get from the church. Nothing wrong with it but for long live members of the church sounds like alot of always the same, also the learning of early Christians helps to build a bridge between the apostacy and the restoration, the official material from the church always praise early Christians but hardly ever teach you in deepth their history.
More and more Christian’s rebuke me less, when I say read the Book of Mormon for yourself, especially before you say something negative about something you know only from what you’ve heard! What if Satan spoke first to the one you heard, why does he not want you to read it, that should be your question! Look critically at the negative comment when a Servant is serving ❤ VANA
Hannah: Great question! Any publication that follows the original text by John Bunyan is great. I'm sure there are also some wonderful abridged versions, I just haven't reviewed them personally. Enjoy!
I like a lot of this channel's content, but sometimes the use of hyperbole and overgeneralizations makes me not want to listen. For example, in this video it is said that The Book of Mormon pattern of fathers passing the Gospel to their sons is "completely lost" in our day. That's just not true. Your own family is an example of the untruthfulness of this statement. I don't have other examples at my fingertips from other videos, but I think I have heard things like "all the saints need to do" such and such or similar broad, well, scolding, for lack of a better word. Maybe this doesn't bother anyone but me. Maybe I am too picky about the fine line between teaching principles and wagging the finger of shame at people. Maybe the use of extreme descriptions and admonitions is just an effort to get a point across. But I wish the communication were more thoughtful. Well, for whatever my two cents are worth, if anything... I greatly enjoyed the Simplifying Isaiah videos. Thank you for your efforts and your love of the Prophet Joseph.
Hi there, I listened to this episode and it didnt come across to me like there was scolding going on, but each to their own. We can agree to disagree. At worst, President Benson is quoted as saying "Could the lack of teaching the scriptures in our homes be a source of our suffering in ignorance today." In my opinion, that observation still holds true today. There are far too many individuals who neglect personal scripture study in favour of studying social media. Also, there are too many families who neglect family home evening, and teaching from Come, Follow Me. Our family isn't perfect but we do what we can each day. Either way, this lesson didn't feel like a guilt trip. I should know, I'm the master of finger wagging and judging others over the pulpit 😂
Well I don't think it's what she meant literally, I think it goes back to losing the mysteries and the core meaning. It's the difference between doing the rituals and understanding the deep spiritual meaning behind them. At large it's like the mysteries of Melchezidek are obfuscated today because it hasn't been preserved precept upon precept generation to generation (per se). We not Melchezidek and Aaron and The platentary spheres independently for example but not Mars, Mercury and Sun in the Son/ Light of The World.
I found no fault in the presentation. My Dad left our family and his covenant breaking, abandonment and poor example had a devistating result, not just on my siblings testimonies, but on their children as well. We all have access to the gospel but it is much easier to live and far more fruitful within a family structure. This message is so timely. How wonderful that you can't relate, cherish the blessing that you were able to sidestep this harsh reality so many of us in the church face (through no fault of our own). I wish you well and am glad for the diversity within the church. Being able to comment and discuss things from different angles is our strength, not our weakness.

Great video Hannah! I saw "Pilgrim's Progress" over a year ago. It is a great movie. I will watch it again. I miss seeing you on the RUclipss.
Hannah: We'll be back in the video studio in a couple weeks! Thank you for your patience as we catch up with everything as a family here.

As a Quaker I can say your poor reinterpretation of history and theological inventions are insulting.
Minimize the use of the word parents. A parent doesn't exist. We are a Mothers or a Father or mother's and fathers. :-)
