May I come to your house?? I wanna try the George Avocado (and the chicken, the pork, the rice, the sauce) 🤤🤤😂😂😂 Greetings from Belgium my Filipino friend ^^
This is fun to watch! I seldom see a foreign vlogger (who just visited for a short or first time and not living in the Philippines) actually visiting the home of a local guide/friend where the vlogger interacts with the family inside the local residence, and even sharing a meal with. George really seems to be a humble, cultured and intelligent person. 😊
Man, as a Filipino, it actually fills me with glee that you enjoy our local delicacies. Was wondering if you ever tried tasting Halo-Halo? Also, Mabuhay from the Philippines! 🇵🇭
I'm so happy that Philippines is the first country you chose in your George World Tour and this family of Josh is the true representation of Filipino values.
Hi George thanks to be a part of your vlog.my family is very thankful.mata yurushiku onegaishimasu.im josh mom by the way.more power God bless you always.❤️
Your always welcome to come in my house.next time ill cook alot of filipino dishes for you sorry that don't prepare many because i didn't know that you will vlog the food🤣🤣have safe travels on your tour around the world.❤️mata yurushiku.arigato gozaimashita😊
It's so nice to see all of these Filipino food related videos and seeing you enjoy. You're such a nice guy, coming into a subscriber's house. I also didn't expect his mom to speak Japanese haha 😅
George, again, your are so fortunate to eat with a family who make you feel at ease and able to speak your language. You are on your way to fully embrace our culture and cuisine. Can't wait to see your next adventure. Stay healthy and safe, God bless
George, what a refreshing video; 楽しいかたです!😍That was so nice of Josh to invite you for dinner with his family and so gracious of you to accept. I was impressed with Josh’s mom-she can speak and understand Japanese!🥰 ありがとうございましたfor sharing your experiences and always having a positive attitude! お元気で!😊
I'm so happy for George. And I'm happy for his subscribers that have him stay. These videos just make me very happy. Watching them enjoying life. Thank you so much. Arigatou!
Here in Brazil we eat avocado with condensed milk, or mixed with sugar and a few lemon or sour lime drops as dessert, too. I only tried an avocado salad when I became adult, it was quite a shock then to learn that in many countries, avocado is only eaten with salt
you are so adorable George!!! i love how appreciative and warm you are towards Josh’s family. i’m glad you enjoyed the food! im watching this at 1 am and now im craving lechon manok and sinigang 😋
I like the way you behave, you know how to get along even if you don't know the people you interact with very well. Awesome 👍 ......I really admire the generous and respectful behavior of Filipinos nice 🙂
Hey George, have you tried eating Halo-Halo before? It is a popular dessert in the Philippines. If you haven't tried it yet, I recommend you to try it! It tasted real good! Great video, I love Filipinos too! They're so kind and caring. I miss the Philippines!
This look delicious !! The chicken, the pork, the rice, the sauce, the George Avocado 🤤🤤🤤🤤 And what a nice family, they are so friendly, that's so cool 🙂
Me too i discover you first on food wars but i already watch many Japanese youtubers exploring Japan makes me feels like i travel to Japan by watching them!
talaga ma entertain ang mga pilipino lalo na sa dayuhan. they try to welcome and make the feel comfortable. mababait talaga ang mga pinoy. sana ganon din ang ipakita sa atin.
I was a little late to know that you're here in the Philippines. Glad that I've decided to check your latest video. You've got a great Filipino companion there with Josh. He and his family really showed the Filipino hospitality. Loved how Josh taught you how to eat Filipino foods. I envied her Mom who speaks Nihonggo so fluently 😁 Hope to see you visit Boracay here in Aklan😊 Glad you're enjoying your stay here in the Philippines. More power in your channel 😊👍
Am happy to watch this cause despite of what our country is going through, there is still this Filipino generosity and hospitality. You are lucky, you know, to experience this! More power to you and your channel!
If you ever wanted to come to the US and do this I would make you food and I can also bring you to a true Mexican restaurant that my friends family owns and you can try real Mexican food and American food in the same trip. I live close to DC so we can also take the bus and or train to see the important places in America like the white house
This is such a cool concept! I always thought it would be neat to do something similar, but learn to cook the meals from where I visit! Greetings from the U.S!
I was so surprised after I haven’t watched your videos for a while that you actually visited my parent’s country, and later mine which is Canada! You seem like a people’s person, very outgoing and kind. I felt you genuinely appreciated their hospitality, known for Filipino culture. Thank you for being you! I will subscribe for more
Another great and sweet video! thanks for sharing us. I must confess, -as a dessert lover-, that I will have to try the avocado dessert one day. 😊It looks so good! saludos!
안녕하세요…..Aw….That was a sweet video. Sweet family. You were right Fillipino’s have great hospitality. The meal looked MASARAP too!!! I cracked up that you named the Avocado dessert “George” SNORK😆. I have actually tried the avocado dessert before when my husband and I met a sweet couple that came up from Brazil. He made it with sugar tho but it was so yummy. It looks like you are having a great time on your trip. Blessings on the rest of your travels.
Hi George! I'm soooo stoked to see you in our country! I never thought you'd give us a visit! Maybe I can tour you around Makati for some cool hang outs and places to eat and drink? 日本語もちょっと話せます!よろしくです!
I'm impressed with the mother's Japanese speaking skills. It's nice to see George traveling abroad and exploring new places and dishes. As for patis, some folks (like me) will put very little into the sinigang as it's being cooked. George Avocado will be a thing now ! LOL !
Josh is so good, it's like he represents entirely how kind, friendly and hospitable filipinos are🙏🙏 and to George you are so cute every time you smile I think I fell in love hahha just kidding, anyway thanks for visiting Philippines🙏💕
My favorite avocado with condensed milk then spread it on a loaf bread or a bun ...heaven it's good also when you put it in the freezer like an ice cream
Suggestions: You could have liaisons sell used clothing from Japan washed, and new spoons and forks. You could also work as interior designer replicating your simple and clean interior in Philippines.
Is it common for filipinos to be able to speak japanese? this was a great video! crazy how you just ate dinner with a subscriber and their family in the philippines
I agree with @Hydro, majority of Filipinos can't speak Japanese. Those who can speak Japanese have learned the language by studying through language class, watching anime or by working in Japan.
Some do, those who either worked their or married a japanese. I was so surprised when I was in the post office and a lady started talking in Japanese to her husband haha
How nice that you got invited to Josh's for dinner! That's so sweet. Dinner looked wonderful. Now, I've developed a craving for Filipino food. I have to try that avocado dessert, too. George... charming all the ladies in the neighborhood... as expected.
U just say "tao po" when ur still outside of the house, waiting for someone to open the door...once someone opens the door for u, u can just greet them "magandang umaga po" means good morning, "magandang hapon po" means good afternoon, and "magandang gabi po" means good evening...u always add "po" in such greetings as a sign of being respectful but u can also ommit it...once ur about to leave the house of someone who invited u, u should always say "salamat po sa pag imbita" meaning thank u for inviting and a few more lines u can try and say... "Masarap ang pagkain" meaning the food is good, "mabait kayong lahat" meaning you are all good, "mahal ko ang mga pilipino" meaning u love filipino's... Just a few lines that u might wna take note of and try 😊 more adventures 🙏❤
You are very gracious! It's heartwarming to see you enjoy new food and experiences. :D PS: I love avocado as a dessert. I grew up eating it just that way, with condensed milk and then chilled. It was only later on that I learned about guacamole. Now I eat it as a dessert and a viand. lol
"Tao po" A term used when entering a house, to notify people that someone is present. It translates to "anyone here?" or "someone's here". I wouldn't recommend saying it when you are already inside the house. www love the vid!
I'm glad you didn't think an avocado dessert is weird and even tried it 😊 we even have avocado ice cream here! Perhaps you'd also like to try it. You can find it in major groceries or supermarkets 😉
Whoa i didn't know Philippines grow avocado.(just assumption from the avocado on the table)👉👈.. I've never try avocado yet. Lol wonder how it taste. And yeah~ am drooling watching the roasted chicken and that familiar chili with soy sauce
just dip the pork in the fish sauce or if there’s a serving tablespoon, scoop a tiny bit of sauce and sprinkle a little bit on pork or rice. When I was a kid, i loved putting fish sauce on blue mackerel scad and that was already fish, but the sauce made it more tasty 😅 it was my mom who first introduced me to it. Never had one in ages m. Blue mackerel scads are rare in eastern USA, but maybe more common in states like California or Hawaii
