I was so happy to see your initiative about cleaning up some trash wherever you go. I have a place in the Bay of Kotor and always like to pick up trash when I see it. I’ve never needed health care when I’ve been in Montenegro (yet) though there is a small hospital in town I stay in (Herceg Novi). I understand that for more serious issues one really should go to Belgrade for care.
We always leave a place cleaner than we found it, that’s our motto. We can’t wrap our head around the fact people are bringing full bottles and cans the whole way but can’t take the empty ones. Thanks for the info, regarding the pregnancy we are looking at several options now

Everyone looks exhausted but on the mend. My oldest daughter had the Croup when she was 1 1/2 old. She spent a couple days in the hospital in an oxygen tent. She insisted my wife sleep with her every night in a baby crib. I was heart broken when I had to go home to take care of our older kids. So my wife and I can relate to your situation, fears and exhaustion. Gerben you totally out did me and picked them up by boat. Well played!
Oooffff Croup, not fun at all. Mothers do everything to get the kids up and running and can imagine your broken heart. Rianne slept in the same bed as Benjamin in the hospital too. Thanks for the nice compliment, I just thought to make life easier and more fun for all of us.

Im interested to know how folks who live on board and tour around the globe organise health care, and some form of insurance cover. learn all there is to learn from this event and put it in your future book of life. A simple suggestion would be Samosa and ice cream with your favourite tipple ! And that’s probably not the highest on the get you well scale but the feel good factor goes of the scale. In reality I would probably go the whole 9 yards and prepare a celebration of Indian food all that will remind your taste buds and body that heaven really is hear on earth and not in a far away place that we may not even qualify for! Or I could make you rice pudding like that which mothers used to make and then play you something with my guitar? Next time you have a special event you want to celebrate in a different way send me the link and if I’m free and your not in Patagonia or somewhere obscure ! Ill try and make it happen for you. It's a huge vessel to sail by one person ???? however I'm so happy Benjamin in better , sorry I'm looking at this in the past but I've been in hospital for a while.
What I'm finding hard to understand is why the school did not speak to you both about his lack of eating. How could they let it go on so long that his health suffered like this? I might be wrong in assuming this, but he should not have been let go this long to get sick. The flu is a natural detox of the body and not a disease, so clearly his immune system was toxic and he needed to detox, which is why we get so sick. Let's hope he gets well very soon and what about his Dad? Well, what a Dad he is to be doing all that for both of you. It would have been very difficult staying in that hospital all that time with your child and not sleeping. Benjamin is a lucky boy!
Your assumptions are not wrong... It all happened very fast in just a couple of days. Luckily Benjamin is back on his old energy level and I am recovered for 98% as well. Thanks for taking care of us. Have a great day and much love.
I would say: Gerben, take care of your longs. See if it is better to have a medicine to speed up your recovery. I have a boy. He is 20 years old now, but when he started going to school (at age 3 years old) he got seek too. Living alone weakens the imune system. In a few months he got strong again.
Thanks for thinking about us, every day is getting better.... it's a tough flu and a lot of people are suffering around 4 weeks from it. Can't wait to see him strong and playful again.

In Europe we tend to have reciprocal healthcare arrangements with each other's countries, even if not technically in the European Union.
