      same issue with me brother. However, at the end its about whats right and wrong yk. we should try our best to keep a beard no matter whatever anyone tells us. Also make a lot of dua to Allah to make this easy for you. That helped me a lot. May Allah make it easy for all of us. Ameen

    Regardless all school of thought agree that shaving beard is haram. And to trim it has to be below fist length than it’s ok to do it while others say to just leave it as is.

    What does the Quran say on this topic?

    • @lovemediacows123
      @lovemediacows123 Год назад +14

      what does the Quran say about how to pray? About the order and specifics of wudhu?
      Allah swt tells us in Surah An Nisa "O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the messenger and those of you who are in authority; and if ye have a dispute concerning any matter, refer it to Allah and the messenger if ye are (in truth) believers in Allah and the Last Day. That is better and more seemly in the end." - We follow the Quran and the Sunnah so we cannot just say oh what does the Quran say, its not in the Quran therefore we dont need to follow etc.
      Im not sure if you meant it like this or you were genuinely asking if the Quran talks about it, but just wanted to clarify in case. May Allah swt bless you.

    • @lovemediacows123
      @lovemediacows123 Год назад +17

      its not about whether God cares or needs it because every single human could obey Him and it wouldnt make Allah swt greater - His greatness is independent of the creation and their actions. Its about complete submission to the Creator, and so whatever is ordained on us, we do, even if we do not see the apparent benefit, or its uncomfortable or difficult. And we do not say nonsense and attempt to use our own intellect and emotion to try to justify what Allah wants or does not want from us.

    Islam also teaches us to be hygienic and groom ourselves. Overgrown beards are not only smelly especially after eating, it looks like armpit hair on your face. So trim your beard and your under south hair! Shave your armpit hair if your trimmed armpit hair smells. Islam is simple. Beard do not represent your iman.

      @musafirghayrmaeruf1 No doubt the majority say the beard is wajib, but it is not agreed that the length must be one fist, this is because our Prophet (saw) told us to grow the beard but has not defined the length and width, it's a matter of flexibility, this is why we find the companions trimming their beard to show the general permissibility of trimming of beard and I have not come across any major sahabas where they were discussing about the length of the beard, so little bit above the fist or below the fist - it's all good. Imam Ahmed hanbal says that it's wajib to keep the beard and the recommended length is to grow as much as you can, and below one fist he considers it makrooh but not haram, it's only haram when you completely shave it off. Similarly to other scholars they say the recommended sunnah length is one fist but to keep the beard as long as it's considered to be recognised to be beard is wajib - you will find this view across the madhabs and scholars.
