My father was a quadraplegic due to polio as a tot. He met my mother when they worked at the same workstation as proofreaders at a publishing company. He was 40, she was 33. They got married in a very simple ceremony after the war. He was an amazing father.
She exudes such positive energy. She just seems to love life. Hunter really hit the jackpot.

Maybe the fact that Hunter is a amputee as myself as well as Rebecca. You inspire me also. I tell people about the both of you all the time as if you are two of my adult children. You help me realize that I will walk one day without an assistive device. I'm a LAKA since 2016. Keep doing what you do so I can be encouraged by you and all of the young people that make walking look like a piece of cake.

Hello, I’m here commenting from my son’s RUclips page. I’m here because I watched the Olympics yesterday and seen Tara getting ready to jump. Before so they showed the crowd and the commentators mentioned her husband. A chant started for Tara with a clap, camera panned on Hunter who was doing it as well. I could see the emotion take over him and how proud he was of her that I was so intrigued by his love for her in that moment. Fast forward as to why I’m here and found their RUclips page. You 2 are so lucky to have found each other, and I this random stranger is so happy for ya.

You guys make such a cute couple. I saw you for the first time at the Olympic try outs when Tara won. You had such a beautiful meeting of the minds. No one knew what you said, but we knew you understood each other. I watch Cole and Charisma another interracial inter-abled couple. They inspire me because they go so many places and do so much that I can’t complain about having balance issues and needing a cane. As world class athletes, you guys take the interracial inter-abled movement to a whole new level. I didn’t know that Hunter had a disability until your wedding video. You interact so physically, Hunter looks stronger than the average fully abled man the way he keeps up with you. But you guys are inspiring because the disability doesn’t matter. That is a message for the world.
