    Legend has it that John Glenn claimed on his first orbital flight that he only needed another 1000 ft to get on top.

    The concept of evading weather using non-realtime radar data (maybe up to 40 minutes old) is what can get pilots killed. It is not unheard of. Please be careful next time my friend, and clear skies 😀
