Rick rude vs ultimate warrior was 1 of the greatest rival matches vs each other ever 🙏🏼 rude was a beast
This my first time hearing Nikita out of character... Not what I was expecting lol
Met him a little over a year ago. Scott Simpson. Before I posed for a pic with him, he did something nobody has ever done to me: He distanced himself an extra foot or so from me right before stopping my buddy from snapping the pic, extending his hand and saying quote : "Before we snap this, what's your name? " We went on for another 15min. Class act.
😂😂😂
He sounds really smart and wise
The Original Alpha Male of Professional Wrestling.
I remember when the late Rick Rude worked with the late Bobby "The Brain" Heenan in New Orleans when he would call the fans "Louisiana Losers" during his feud with the late Roddy Piper at the Nar Kiefer Arena near the University of New Orleans campus,
3 od the greatest, RIP
Love how Jake refers to Brutus as Dizzy
thats who he was talking about
Brutus the Barber Beefcake was considered kinda of a joke to may of his peers. They have said he basically rode the tails of Hogan and had very little talent and was even dangerous in the ring with hurting guys. They said he was quite dumb as well when it came to wrestling psychology.
Dizzy was Brother Brutai? I would have never guessed that’s who Jake was talking about.
@@wagsoman his name used to be Dizzy Hogan…
Fuckin beefcake was a clown. Especially when he was Zodiac. Dumbest character ever
The way hillbilly jim sez I think about rude alot, henning, boss man......these are my wrestling favorites but they are Jim's friends...tough business
21 Years since his death, RIP
Good video Hannibal! Devon you put out the best content bro.
I was a youngbuck in the 80s watching the WWF. Now when I watch the old Survivor Series, Summer Slams, Royal Rumbles, and WrestleManias on Peacock, I crack up laughing whenever he calls out the crowd and tells em to shut up while he disrobes………….man I tell ya those 80s WWF days were the best.
Rick Rude was one of.my favorite wrestlers. Stand-up honorable guy who looked incredible as far as wrestling skills, and physique. One of the best heels ever in WWf. Legit badass who probably could have done well in MM A or UFC. RIP Rick Rude Not to mention he was best friends with Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig another one of my favorite wrestlers. Both of them deserved better careers in WWF in WCW.
You know he committed suicide bc he shot viagra directly into his slong it got infected and the Dr had to remove it or he’d died that’s why he killed him self and I’m not joking that’s what other wrestlers said happened.
@@conspiracytheory9525 that's still speculation on whether it was true but even so it doesn't take away from his career as a wrestler and as a friend to other wrestlers. Most of the other wrestlers all said when it came down to it he was a good person and cared about his friends. GOD will judge him for his actions if they are true.
@@conspiracytheory9525 Where did you get your information that is a valid fact that's what truly happened? I'm curious
His intro was one of the best. The best heel one imo . His cut the mic, and then rips the city so he can show the women what a real sexy man supposed look like
Imagine the SJW seeing that today
One of the greatest heels in WWF history. And a legit tough guy too.
I agree.
Ravishing rick rude is of the wrestlers of all times in history
rick rude was one of the best workers in this business.period.one of my alltime favorites.
When I was a kid I would watch WWF and saw this shredded Tom Selleck looking dude who was cocky af and would pick chicks out of the audience, then makeout with them. Rude was the reason that I started working out and began acting more confident with girls. I'm now in my 40s in great shape and date women in their 20s. RIP to a legend and a true inspiration.
Slow clap
When did the definition of 'paying' become 'dating'?
yeah, who cares?
Hahaha
Be the best version of yourself that can be.
I'm also in my 40s and date women from the 1920s. High Five brother!!
Watching Nikita Koloff look and speak just like my old boss is so weird lmao. Because I've never seen an interview with him after his wrestling career. Seems like a cool dude.
Always loved Ravishing Rick Rude
Smash gives off a police officer vibe.
Snatched the goalie stick so Rick wouldn't get hurt
OR
Snatched the goalie stick so Rick could land more blows haha.
It's a bit like Wrestlemania 8 when the road agents come to the ring to hold Savage back from Flair but essentially they're pinning Savage down and inadvertently helping Flair and Perfect land blows.
Jake Roberts looks great nowadays! Good on the bloke for coming so far in terms of getting his life back on track!
Its amazing how many wrestlers have a state of Minnesota history!! Minnesota winters create some tough hombres!!
Minneapolis, Tampa, and West Texas were awesome pipelines in the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s.
Guaranteed huge pop was anytime Rude was atomic dropped - nobody ever sold that move better.
Hacksaw seems like a really nice guy
I read that Rick Rude had a degree in physical education and a degree in special education from a person who was labeled learning disabled who have been cool to talk to him
Barry Darsow as Ace Frehley.
Rude one of the best heels.
No matter all the crazy and bad stuff that Jake Roberts has done over the years I have nothing but respect for that man he is a true hero.
As a 3-4 year old in the late 80s. My Parents said i wasn't interested in the face characters in WWF. I only liked the heels and Rick Rude was my favourite. I still get shit 30 years later because at the time i pronounced it "Wick Wude" and a nickname came about that i still get called today more then my real name.
Rude was from the old school and on his worst day. He would out wrestle today's wrestlers on their best.
I loved his finisher the Rude Awakening.
Thanks for the video, THE HANNIBAL TV
"Dizzy" = Brutus Beefcake, to those wondering whom Jake is referring to. Dizzy Ed Boulder.
Rude was an absolute monster.
Rick rude v ricky the dragon steam boat. Those were the days of proper wrestleing
Funny Rick Rude being called a pretty boy stripper. He did have that persona, but he also had that cement head look to him.
Rude and Curt Hennig we're my favorite dudes back in the day.
Wait a minute....Nikita Koloff is from Minnesota??? Never even occurred to me that he could possibly not be Russian or Eastern European.
Don't want to burst your bubble, but did you know Sabu was NOT from Bombay India? And each and every wrestler that was billed as coming from "Parts Unknown", did not come from there.
awesome stories! Is it possible to purchase a "Grandma B's" shirt somewhere, totally would be cool!
"He had the waist of a wasp"..
😆
I was at that match hillbilly, I remember it well dude.
Bleeding like a goose 🤣🤣🤣
Rick Rude was my favorite
Great to hear the stories, and was interesting
Well welcome to 2020 Brian, and allow me to introduce you to Joey Ryan.
great vid as usual! imo a grear wrestler 🤼♂️
Thanks 👍
were rick rude, tom seleck, and don fry brothers
Dan Severn also.
Gooner Man
Don't forget Freddie Mercury.
No, they are and were Men. They don't exist any more.
Alot of mustache rides were given out in the 80's and 90's.
Rick steiner.
It's so weird hearing Nikita speak in a non Russian accent
Hulk Hogan Rick Rude did wrestle look it up everybody says they never wrestle
They only wrestled one time
Definitely my favorite heel of all time
Long live rick rude
Demolition is still the greatest tag team, period...
I keep hearing that Hogan never faced Rick rude. He did and you can find it on RUclips.
Great video!
The ravishing one!!!! One of the best ever!!!!
Hogan wrestled Rude a number of times, they just never worked an angle. One or two matches on RUclips so I dont know why people always say that they never did cuz Hogan was scared
Hogan was scared, they only worked once
Grandma B’s is now a pricey , upscale, hipster Tiki Bar called Psycho Suzis. One winter we went there for a birthday and my friend Scoot ate pavement on accident on the railing across from the doors and all I could think is how many people Rude, Animal, Dorsow and Hawk tossed over the same spot.
My family used to own Grandma B's. I grew up with these guys. The stories I have, that no one knows..
@ M B bullshit! Nobody believes you! What an odd thing to lie about!
As soon as I hear Jake the Snake say I came out of Rehab , I can already hear the Honky Tonk Man 😂
I wonder if a lot of these wrestlers from the Minnesota area got into wrestling because of the AWA, Rude seems like he was one of those guys that people didn't seem to really appreciate what he meant to the business until after he died.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD DAAMN Honky Tonk Man You Really just did that didn't you LMAO XDXDXDXDXD LMAO!!!!!!!!! That boys and girls is ENEMY Lv. Shade being handed right there LMAO.... I loved Rick Rude tho Rest In Peace.......
What a performer.
