11:04 best way to do it is by hand (pick the ingredients using chopsticks) lay the lettuce on your hand place the grilled meat on top put some garlic dipped in samjang and others that are on the table that you want wrap dunk the whole thing all at once in your mouth
Seeing new places through your eyes is what makes your vlogs so enjoyable. I’m pretty sure Tia wouldn’t want to be flying hundreds of feet in the air. So I’m in the no drone camp.
I enjoy watching the video. As a Korean, I strongly recommend Gyeongju and Jeju Island. Gyeongju is the capital of the ancient Shilla state, and there are many ruins and monuments. Jeju is a wonderful place with a beautiful scenery that is different from normal Korea. I wish the trip that makes the two of you happy and smiling.thanks for your wonderful films
Regarding drone, from a fellow traveler and a drone pilot with few years of experience: they are awesome tool to get great pictures and videos, however you need to be aware of some drawbacks: -there are severe restrictions to fly legally in many countries. In east and SE Asia it's mostly fine (except China, Vietnam and Maldives - you can forget flying there), but for example in Middle East in many countries your drone can get confiscated by customs if you even try to bring it into the country - which is super annoying if you want to do a short stop there and need to carry it for further travel. Europe is generally chill, so is US (but flying is prohibited and heavily policed in national parks, which encompass many interesting attractions), South America is mixed bag depending on country. -additionally in most countries where flying is allowed, you'll be required to stay 50-100m from other people, meaning you'll have to find spots away from most touristy places. -getting good footage takes a lot of time. Usually of 1h filming session I get maybe 2-3 min of "presentable" film, and probably 30s going into final production. -keep in mind that you will need to carry remote, extra batteries, charger, filters and other stuff - weight can add up quite a lot more than just drone's. If you decide to go forward, I'd recommend DJI Mini 3 Pro - DJI's software is by far most polished and easy to use, and drone weighs below 250g, which means it's not only easy to carry, but also that is exempt from regulations in many countries that affect heavier drones like my Mavic 2 Pro. Of course you'll need to be very careful of stronger winds, and it's a bit on the expensive side, but camera quality is fantastic for such a small package, so I think it's well worth it. If you need any help hit me up, as you might've already guessed I love talking drones 😀
This was extremely helpful, thank you for the insight. We have been wondering about the various rules and restrictions, and it seems be we just left the most drone-friendly part of the world 😅 Also interesting to hear about the time investment required for a short piece of footage. That isn't really something we had considered.
What I love about you guys is that you guys are so relaxed that makes me smile. Thanks for that and sharing youtlr trip. Have a wonderful time in Korea. 🌸🌸🙏🍀
You guys do such an amazing job with angles and colors and composition with your B-rolls, drone shots feel like a natural extension of those. I for one would love to see it... 👍

When does Busan Igidae Park come and go? At the entrance of Igidae Park, I see some foreign tourists going, but I can't see them. When I think of Igidae Park, I remember a foreign woman in the subway asking how to get to Igidae Park. I remember the days when I couldn't speak English when I got off at Gyeongseong and Pukyong National University stations, go up to exit 5, and get on the bus stop 27, 22, 131, 20 and get off at the entrance of Igidae Park.
Hi guys. Such a great walk! I marvel at how both of you enjoy life so much. As for the drone question, I never realised that you were not using a drone because your vlogs are always so enjoyable and really focus on the two of you. So for my recommendation, I would say hold onto the money and use it to treat yourselves to a few more wonderful meals or visits to places, because that is what your stories are all about. Cheers.
No need for a drone. Also it takes a loooooong time to setup and make sure you're doing it in compliant/safe areas--spend that time on enjoying the experiences. Drones are fun! But doesn't really add a whole lot that you don't already capture in cities especially.
I don't think the vlogs NEED drone shots, but I think if you want one you should definitely get it. It'll be fun to play with even if you don't use it a lot.
I like your videos~ :) I'm happy to see another aspect of Korea through you even though I am a korean~ I hope you have good memories about korea~ Thank you for visiting Korea ~♡
While aerial drone footage is like flying, I would rather view your journey as if I were walking on the same path. I love the reality of walking on rocks, the fear of a wiggling bridge, and walking on a clear surface. Save the money on a drone and treat yourselves to another nice dinner. Or two. Thank you for sharing!
Another fun adventure! I like the walks you guys find to do on your travels, you two need a shoe sponsor 😁 drones take pretty footage, story wise they help set a scene but never felt yours or Lisa & Josh's content ever lacked anything. I like your vlogs in that we get to experience the same things you do, the only way to see or experience the same thing from a drone is in a helicopter. Save your money travel more, make more videos, keep growing, pretty soon the price of a drone won't be an issue for you guys. Just my two cents.
I think you two should get a drone because I have seen videos from other youtubers. It is so beautiful to have pictures taken the whole area from above the ground.
-Ron from Busan I understand you want to share better sceneries with subscribers but you may provide greater angles and more unique shots thanks to no drone paradoxically. I think there is no problem at all to buy it when affordable. So worth watching your trip not only itineraries but also natural sceneries.
What!! I was doing the Igidae - Oryukdo Skywalk trail yesterday as well! Would've been cool to meet y'all, but also I'd recommend doing the Songjeong Beach - Haeundae Blue Line trail as well. While Busan is really beautiful, I hope you give Ulsan a chance too, it's a city just beside Busan that's not too touristy, which is something I really like. It's accessible from Busan Metro (that specific line just opened Dec last year) and it's probably around 1h45mins from Seomyeon, ~2500won per pax. I really really really want to recommend Daewangam Park to y'all, it's easily one of my favourite places to visit in South Korea, and I've no doubt you'll love it too!!! It's a little harder to access but with KakaoMaps navigation it'd be a breeze. Buses are aplenty in Ulsan and very accessible, please please please visit Daewangam Park if you have the time! Keep going!!!

That was definitely a good video and Tia I have to say these days for me i get vertigo watching TV 😅 however when I was younger it never worried me one bit. You guys have an awesome style to your videos so creative and in parts humorous 😊👍 In terms of using drone footage that just adds another level to the mix. My recommendation would be a DJI mini 2 or the latest mini 3. It’s more compact over the DJI Mavic Air2 i use. And yes restrictions are varied from country to country. Another thing I’ve learnt about drones I got really anxious that i would loose it while flying.. as time goes on and I’m getting better using it that level of worry is reducing.. No one wants to loose their investment. But you guys might master it more quickly and it’s fun. But in saying that drone or no drone for me i like what you guys do and I will stay tuned 👍🙏🏻✌🏻
Your videos are great as is, no drone needed, just another thing to try to carry around. Your vids are well put together, interesting and entertaining.
Don't bother with the drone. There's already tons of videos of the places you visited with slick drone shots. It's your passion and enthusiasm and genuine excitement for new experiences that I love and made me sub.
You guys got the photography side of things nailed already. You don’t really need a drone. It can lift some channels like Jumping Places but I think he does everything else on gopro
YES! Get a drone! My husband (Argentine American) and I (korean) enjoy the drone shots of RUclips travelers. It will give exquisite perspective and sceneries to your videos! We love your channel because of your genuine energy unlike some travel youtubers who exaggerate their opinions. Keep it up!!! (Sorry for the heart hurting experience in Seoul. There are good people and some awful people who are occupied by all misleading propagandas)
You guys are actually excellent videographers. You really captured some excellent shots with this vlog. I'm not sure how much more a drone would add. Drone shots can be nice to see the overall landscape for the viewers and y'all. But I don't think it's anything anyone feels like it's missing. Unless used as an opener for each intro to each new location.. adding a bit of glam if you want to go for that. If I could fly like a bird that shots would be helpful for my navigation for sure lol. But then you'd have to also look into what the local rules/laws about flying it. And an extra thing you have to lug around.. sorry not trying to be a downer but I guess you'd probably already thought through that. I did wonder what that Busan coast line would have looked like but it wasn't missed is what I'm saying.
You're not being a downer at all. We really appreciate the advice. And you made really good point about the extra weight and ever-increasingly complex rules. Thanks a lot for the input.
I wouldn't trust Chinese glass bridge. Lol News: Tourist Left Clinging On For Life As Glass Bridge Breaks Up. News: 'China: Man left dangling from bridge after glass breaks.

I will watch you guys because I love your vibe, as commented before I think a drone be amazing extra footage. Some of the roads you did in Vietnam in those small villages on the way from one to another would have been amazing to see from up above you guys even when you are walking these hikes to be up above you see you walking, to see you riding with the drone from above. Obviously there is going to be pros and cons….your videos are awesome I just think they could add that bit extra. Tia making an effort to get that camera more haha.
We had the exact same thoughts as you about Vietnam. There were so many situations there where a drone would've added a lot. Thank you for your insight 😊
I subscribed to your channel whilst you were in Thailand (where I live). Your vlog is perfect just as it is, with your match between local food and surroundings. You don't need a drone, spend your money on travel and food!!
Korean bbq prices have gone up quite a bit lately due to hike in livong stock food due to ukraine war and global draught etc. Beef is pricier than pork so next time recommend trying pork bbq place! It has a different taste to beef
For drones, I would say: They definitely add an extra dimension to story telling. My personal recommendation with drones if you’re going for DJI is spend the little extra (if you can) on the DJI mini 3 pro over the DJI mini 2. For a few reasons. -No active track on the mini 2 (following you) -longer flight time -future proof for image quality -has sensors to protect the drone from crashing into trees (and gives you a warning if you’re near something) -portrait mode filming (if you’re looking to do some shorts or insta stories) Hope that helps 🔥
Also just to add on from that, each country also has their own rules around drone usage such as height and locations you can fly. Something to be conscious of.
The Mini 3 Pro is the one we are considering. Wasn't aware of the tracking ability, that's really cool! Great point on the various restricting, though. Looking at a random sampling of countries and their laws, it seems like there are more restrictions all the time 😅
@@OnePackWanderers Yee, the mini 3 pro is like, in between the air 2s and the mini 2 and honestly it looks super impressive. You’ll love the tracking feature, it even tracks objects so you could select a landmark and tell the drone to rotate around it. Bloody awesome stuff 🔥
If you guys are planning to become full-time you tubers a drone might add something for this and especially future travels. While your initial channel description suggests you are on a one-time "until the money runs out' trip, you have certainly started to build something that could be sustaining long term. Just curious if you would like to enlighten us subscribers on future long-range plans for your channel? With what you have shown so far, you compare very favorably to other channels including Kara and Nate and their 1 million plus subscribers/views. Keep up the great work and love to hear some words on the future. Thanks. Steve
Wow, that is really a compliment. Thank you. For our long-term plans, we would love to turn this into a much longer-term thing, if we could find a way to make it work financially. We do not want to film ads, though, and that seems to be the biggest way to earn money on RUclips. With things as they are now, realistically, we will be on the road for somewhere between 1-2 more years.
@@OnePackWanderers Chev/Tia thank you for your reply. In building a new enterprise there is always a challenge between sticking to your original conception and doing some of the things necessary to foster growth. I feel from watching you that you will figure out what is necessary to both grow your channel and also stay within your precepts. I say this as a now 65 year old who has been traveling since 18 and has been to 80 countries. Go for it!
Don't know which one of you adjust camera angle but it looks really good. A good photographer among you. Heh. Recommend 100% for the drone angle. Huge investment but sometimes you have to take a risk to lift up to higher level. It is your choice tho. Good luck.
1:42 it's not made of coconut. It's made of rice straw. traditionally korea made lots of things by rice straw such as shoes, rope. unlike southeast asia korea don't have coconut.
A little late, but I love the format of your videos as is. But purchasing a drone is your choice. I was pleasantly surprised to learn your friends with Lisa and Josh. I love watching their videos and now watch yours as well. The beef at the bbq looked like wagyu which is more expensive. Happy, safe travels!

About the drone it makes so many beautiful images but on the other hand I looked at so many vloggers or they lost it or damaged it, you have a good decision to make !! But no matter what you do your videos are always of high quality
I think it's a great idea if you get a drone, just imagine some of the footage you would have got when you were in Vietnam 🇻🇳. I really enjoy following you two.
Yea we keep going back to Vietnam when we talk about drones. So many good opportunities there. On the other hand, it may be a while before we do a cross country motorcycle trip like that again.
Nope was “brilliant” in my opinion Im still laughing over it The music was a nice touch lol Something id do and my kids would go “how embarrassing mum” Yes but hilarious hahaha
I have to say your editing and music/sound are really getting better and better with that in mind, you can probably add another element and put it good use. I agree with another poster a DJI mini series is the way to go, though probably not a mini 1. I still give thought to a 360 camera. I have seen some amazing footage from them as well. Something I appreciate is when drone shots are part of the story and not just dropping one every 15 seconds {look I have a drone}. LOL we have all seen it. Rant Incoming. I love watching many different youtube vlogs. What i would like to bring up is what I call the Neistat effect. He did ground breaking work, and really set the mark for quality, creativity, and style. He encouraged others to go for it and create their own art. But it seams so much of his style and approach are now part of the lexicon. I have seen some vlogs become more and more proficient at the Neistat effect and in the process loose creative quirkiness. I feel you are at the point where your skills can take in any direction you want to go, Stay quirky my friends.
Hey thanks for the comment about the editing and music. We are trying to push ourselves to improve in those areas specifically, so it's nice to see that. Really interesting point you make about the 'Neistat Effect.' The guy is massively talented, and he arguably invented the 'vlog' concept. We started watching some of his videos a couple months ago, and we have definitely found ourselves taking inspiration from him. But being overly derivative seems to be a big issue on YT in general, and we gotta keep that in mind. To be honest, 'everyone else is doing it' has played a role in our drone discussions. Anyways, thanks for your insight on this. And also I wanted to say thanks for all the advice you gave prior to our Vietnam bike trip. We saw so many bandaged backpackers riding around in tank tops, and though we never crashed, we're glad we took your advice and got some better gear.
Drone... keep it simple, if it takes up more time and create extra work than i wouldn't bother. You are on your dream travel don't waste time out from that pleasure.

put some garlic dipped in samjang
and others that are on the table that you want
wrap
dunk the whole thing all at once in your mouth
Yeah, you know "Ssam"! Awesome.
We asked if we should do it that way and our server said no. I think because the lettuce was soaked in dressing already?
Welcome to my hometown ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing. The bbq looks so good.
Seeing new places through your eyes is what makes your vlogs so enjoyable. I’m pretty sure Tia wouldn’t want to be flying hundreds of feet in the air. So I’m in the no drone camp.
Hahaha you are right, she would not enjoy that at all.

Love the vlogs! Get the darn drone if you can afford it!!! It will level up both your travel experience and the viewers imho. Happy Travels
You have this uncanny ability to capture the stunning landscape and amazing vista through the lens your holding. I don’t notice or miss the drone view
Thank you for that 😊🙂
Nice pictures! I got to visit Busan and hike the Igidae Coastal walk a year ago. Much prettier shots than I made :)
You two are the magnet of your clips.
Thank you so much for the recommendations. I think you will be happy about our next destination 😊
Regarding drone, from a fellow traveler and a drone pilot with few years of experience: they are awesome tool to get great pictures and videos, however you need to be aware of some drawbacks:
-there are severe restrictions to fly legally in many countries.
I always wondered about the legality of drones. Thanks
This was extremely helpful, thank you for the insight. We have been wondering about the various rules and restrictions, and it seems be we just left the most drone-friendly part of the world 😅
Also interesting to hear about the time investment required for a short piece of footage.
Drone wow take your vlog to the next level either way your worth watching poor feet must be suffering walking on the stones 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Go for it !!! Looks awesome from above 👍.. you might need your part107 for putting it on RUclips..
Me and my daughter will NOT walk on that glass deck.. we are so afraid of hiehgt. You two are so brave....
Another surprise video. I think no tourist have think the way you guys think, I love the glass bridge. Thanks!!
안녕하세요. 어제 부산 서면에서 만난구독자입니다. 만나서 너무 반가웠어요.
Hi,been watching you guys from Singapore.Great videos and think you did right to get the drone. The scenery in Vietnam is breathtaking and drone shot will surely enhance the quality of your vlog.Viewership for your Singapore trip is really high.A pity you did not stay longer.Cheers and stay safe!
Singapore is the #1 country we feel we didn't spent long enough in. We were so surprised at how much there was to see. Will definitely come back and stay at least a few weeks next time.
@@OnePackWanderers Mark Wien have just shot past 9m subs from Singapore.I just watched his latest blogs. You guys should watch it and maybe gain some insight for your next visit here.Best of luck and stay safe!
Wow, you guys are so healthy and strong. So much walking..
Hello, I am a subscriber whom I met yesterday in Seomyeon, Busan. It was so nice to meet you
It was so lovely meeting you! Thank you also for being so kind, it made us feel really welcome here 😊
When does Busan Igidae Park come and go? At the entrance of Igidae Park, I see some foreign tourists going, but I can't see them. When I think of Igidae Park, I remember a foreign woman in the subway asking how to get to Igidae Park. I remember the days when I couldn't speak English when I got off at Gyeongseong and Pukyong National University stations, go up to exit 5, and get on the bus stop 27, 22, 131, 20 and get off at the entrance of Igidae Park.
Wow, it is beautiful and so peaceful.
매일보는 풍경인데 이렇게 보니 또 새롭네.
Cheers.
Igidea is my favorite place in Busan.
너무나 평화로운 내고향...항상 그립네요...
I like your videos~ :) I'm happy to see another aspect of Korea through you even though I am a korean~ I hope you have good memories about korea~ Thank you for visiting Korea ~♡
LOL, it looked like you guys got some Hanwoo beef, which is basically the upper most tier in terms of beef.
We feel like high rollers now 😎
While aerial drone footage is like flying, I would rather view your journey as if I were walking on the same path. I love the reality of walking on rocks, the fear of a wiggling bridge, and walking on a clear surface. Save the money on a drone and treat yourselves to another nice dinner. Or two. Thank you for sharing!
No drones …
I love the feeling that I am walking with you guys. I want to see what you guys see.
다니는 동안 덥지 않을까- 더위에 지치면 안되는데~ 하고 생각했는데 역시 더웠네요 ,,
I think you two should get a drone because I have seen videos from other youtubers. It is so beautiful to have pictures taken the whole area from above the ground.
-Ron from Busan
I understand you want to share better sceneries with subscribers but you may provide greater angles and more unique shots thanks to no drone paradoxically.
I think there is no problem at all to buy it when affordable. So worth watching your trip not only itineraries but also natural sceneries.
Hi Ron. Thanks for the insight, we hadn't really seen it that way until reading your comment and a few others like it.
What! Small world. I am surprised we did not run into you; we were there almost all day 😅
Thank you SO MUCH for this recommendation. I think we'll definitely visit Ulsan 🙂
@@OnePackWanderers please visit Ulsan!!! It's almost always neglected by tourists, but I'm so glad I chanced upon that place. I'm so sure you'll love Daewangam Park, you're both amazing travellers and I'm sure everyone who commented on your channel would LOVE your vlogs. Please visit Daewangam Park. This is a genuine plea. It's absolutely amazing and I'm sure you'll love it. Please keep posting, y'all are amazing people and I absolutely LOVE your vlogs!!!!!!
That was definitely a good video and Tia I have to say these days for me i get vertigo watching TV 😅 however when I was younger it never worried me one bit.
You guys have an awesome style to your videos so creative and in parts humorous 😊👍
In terms of using drone footage that just adds another level to the mix.
Yes, I recommend DJI mini3 pro because of it's battery size for international flights and easy to carry.
Good point on the anxiety. We were looking at the Mini 3 as it will be more future-proof than the Mini 2.
Thank you for your insights.

My parents get up early in the morning and go hiking there everyday! Damn, I already miss Korea so much.
Very wise of them 🙂 it looks like the perfect spot for a daily walk.
Wow your parents must be very fit! That's a great way to stay healthy.
You guys got the photography side of things nailed already. You don’t really need a drone. It can lift some channels like Jumping Places but I think he does everything else on gopro
Korean bbq is expensive in the usa too but our portion is a lot bigger cause its anerica lol but the one in korea has the more premium beef one
Definitely more premium here.. and it goes a long way! 😁
Good 'ol USA portions... I won't lie, I do sometimes miss them though 😂
Thanks for the insight 😊 And yea there are angry people in every corner of the globe. The vast majority of people everywhere are good though.
The one in china glass bridge is a lot scarier. Its much bigger and longer. So more glass panels
I wouldn't trust Chinese glass bridge. Lol

Most of the travel RUclipsrs who visited Busan only visited bustling cities and beaches. But I'm glad you guys introduced me to this beautiful coastal road. If I ever go to Busan, I will go there.
Glad you enjoyed it. It's a beautiful hike, lots of really nice views!

행복한 여행 되시기 바랍니다.
Thank you again for the recommendation. The soup sounds good 😊
I will watch you guys because I love your vibe, as commented before I think a drone be amazing extra footage.
Point taken, thank you!
Korean bbq prices have gone up quite a bit lately due to hike in livong stock food due to ukraine war and global draught etc. Beef is pricier than pork so next time recommend trying pork bbq place! It has a different taste to beef
And what a wonderful taste it is 🙂 so much good BBQ here...
For drones, I would say: They definitely add an extra dimension to story telling.
My personal recommendation with drones if you’re going for DJI is spend the little extra (if you can) on the DJI mini 3 pro over the DJI mini 2. For a few reasons.
-No active track on the mini 2 (following you)
-longer flight time
-future proof for image quality
-has sensors to protect the drone from crashing into trees (and gives you a warning if you’re near something)
-portrait mode filming (if you’re looking to do some shorts or insta stories)
Hope that helps 🔥
My girlfriend and I enjoy the “wandering style” of your current format.
Thanks.
Steve
They are way more authentic and interesting than Kara and Nate! But your point is correct. They could definitely build that kind of following. ,
Wow, that is really a compliment.
Good luck.
acupuncture stones are incredible. you have Zara man socks Tia! man up!
Yeah get that drone TeamA 👍👍 even if it was for your own digital memories I think you would be glad you did ❤️❤️🇳🇿
Awesome video.
1:42 it's not made of coconut. It's made of rice straw. traditionally korea made lots of things by rice straw such as shoes, rope. unlike southeast asia korea don't have coconut.
Oh wow, interesting. A Korean commented on a previous video saying they were coconuts husks. I suppose we relearned something today 😅
Love your videos but drown shots would’ve been awesome when you were on your hike. What a great day and reward afterwards, happy you enjoyed it.
Great smile,,, yeah that's a Miss. Universe level smile!!!
Hi guys! Welcome to hot Busan:) I love your Videos without a drone. Take care.
Thank you 😊
Lot's of kind Korean short hair cats appear in this video. Nice. =^.^=
What a lovely couple!
It's so hot , humid & sticky in summer.
That it is 😂 The humidity in Korea is real!
Thank you for your thoughts 🙂 We ultimately have decided to hold off on a drone for the time being.
Lisa & Josh are wonderful people, glad you are enjoying their videos.
@@OnePackWanderers I’m planning a trip to Korea in 2025 and your videos have been very helpful. I’ve enjoyed watching all of your travel videos and subscribed to your channel.
Apparently Vietnam doesnt allow drones. Also, carrying it from place to place seems like a hassle
@@slee2695 Danny Doyle is using a drone in Vietnam.
Yea we keep going back to Vietnam when we talk about drones. So many good opportunities there. On the other hand, it may be a while before we do a cross country motorcycle trip like that again.

Yes but hilarious hahaha
No to a drone, I love your current format. Lots of other RUclipsrs with drones. I like your personal style. ❤️
