Clear and precise instructions. Bookmarking for 2025 spring and summer projects. Thank you for using the block of wood to demonstrate that second 30 degree cut. I was about to hyperventilate when I saw how close your hand would be on that side.

Chris, glad you're back. I was a "day-one" beginner a few months ago renovating an older house. Your videos taught me how to use the miter saw. Very much appreciated and SHARED.

He's the ultimate in "this is how you do it." And does it with the charm of a southern gentleman. I don't know why it's so difficult for others.

So glad you're back ... again!
Still loving the fence that looks like no storm ever bothered it. That's fine surgical workmanship right there; no scar!
Thank you for always turning off the sound when cutting. For some reason, it doesn't bother me at all when I'm using a saw, but on recording or someone else doing it, I find it irritating.
    My main takeaways:
    2. Another exceptionally clear video on cutting angles with a mitre saw. I have some of your videos bookmarked and refer to them often. Numbers are not my gift. Unfortunately, I can only like each one once.
    1. I need to get new kids. Always have to buy my own power tools.
    God bless!

Btw thanks so much for editing the saw noise out, it makes watching so much better. I appreciate the extra effort it takes to do it.
    Cheers Glenn in the UK

I watched your video "how to miter cut a circle" and was wondering if you have a video explaining splayed miter angle calculations. I want to build a round dining table with a conical pedestal base. There are videos out there but I have yet to see one with the calculations.

I don’t know about Milwaukee. But on makitas there are holes in the fence that are countersunk to allow you to screw through the back of the fence to attach to jigs like that.

Hi I'm trying to install some crown molding. I'm using a digital angle finder then I'm doing the math, getting the angle translating it to the saw , but the angle isn't coming out right. For example, the angle measurement is 136 degrees ÷2=68-90=22 degrees. I would take that to the saw, but it's not coming out right. Can please help? What am I doing wrong?
