The nice thing about these particular inverters is the low standby current. Typically 10 watts at 3000 watt output level. My low frequency Sungold 4000w uses 70 watts at idle.

hi can you compare this to ampeak 3000 vs renogy 3000 vs bougerv 3000 vs sungoldpower 3000 ? this one seems very strong and reliable - i'm looking for something very reliable to pair with a 460ah lipower lipo4 and CIGS solar to run RV 13,500 btu air con for about 4 hours .. thanks@@Matthews_Reviews

Wtf? 70 watts? Are you for real? !?!? Whtf is it doing using 70 watts? That's insane!

Thanks for the tip on the resistors. 👍 I just picked up 2 of the 2000 watt models. One for my camper and another for my cargo trailer. Will be connecting them to 2 x 100ah each.

Hey I appreciate the comment! They are good inverters for the money and 2 - 100ah batteries is a good starting point depending on what your trying to power. Thanks for watching, Please LIKE & Sub.

I had this inverter in the 48vdc version, and I think I damaged it, with no alarms, using it for heavy inductive load use. So I replaced it with a 6kw split phase inverter from ECPC/Energetech (same company). But what was shipped to me was the Sigineer APC6048D inverter. Saved about $320 off the Sigineer price. It readily started up an air compressor that had completely bogged the SWIPower inverter down. But that's the difference between high and low frequency inverters.

Nah. Watching smoke come out of my hand drills and skill saws was enough to signal an issue. Very much like using much too long of an undersized extension cord. Same tools do not smoke when using the low frequency inverter. I do need to tear the high frequency inverter down and inspect for damages.

Thanks for the video friend. I'm going to give this inverter a try. Seems like a solid value for the dollars. In the meantime I've subscribed, bell rung, commented, upvoted, liked, shared ..... may the algorithm gods smile favorably upon your channel. 😊

Great info..i have same inverter, but with 1 socket instead of 2..And becouse im from Holland, we have 220 Volt 50Hz. .. indeed a very solid inverter, for the price its amazing!

I have this same inverter. It can run a Tosot 12000btu but will have the error 4 "voltage overload" a few times within the span of 6 hours. This is very annoying. I don't know about the surge but the running wattage of the ac is 1000w. I have the TimeUSB 12v 230ah with 150a BMS that can handle 300a draw for 5 seconds. My wire is 1/0 so it can handle any surge for a short time without any problem. So I have no idea why this inverter has this nnoying problem.

With only a live and a neutral connection on the high output connector how would you wire a 3-prong extension cord to it? Also what is the maximum current load on this connection?

I recommend verifying continuity between the ground stud on the left and the receptacle ground. If they exhibit the same continuity, then connect the ground from the three-wire setup to that point.
