- This is the LeapTrend 2000w Pure Sine Wave inverter designed to work with a 12v battery. A 20 foot long remote is included in this kit to allow you to turn on and off the power from a distance. Three AC outlets allow you to plug up devices. A hard wire location lets you connect your power directly to the inverter. There is also a USB to charge DC applications.

What kind of resisiter do I use before I connect positive cable
I have a Renogy 2000w inverter I wish that it came with a screen on it so I could know how much power it is pulling. I was planning on purchasing the shunt to monitor the voltage.
If you don't want to work with the shunt you could also install a drok meter. Or other such battery monitoring system. I've used one and they work well.

@@LandtoHouse I wonder how much of a difference it will be from the voltage read out on the Renogy charge controller. I want a way to figure out the power being used.

That can be true. I already had the midnight classic from a different project so for me this inverter was ideal.
Can you explain the wiring you did? For Ground, Neutral and Load? 🤔. Colours look like it should be an ungrounded 240vac, with center tap....
He admitted back when he first did this that the wiring colors were off, he had the 12v battery Red+ Black- in mind when initially wiring the first inverter and relay.
