I started with three and said that that would be plenty. I now have 15. But I have now legitimately maxed out my chicken coop so 15 is my maximum so that's good with me.
did the same. started with 20 then added another 20 the meyers meal makers and tsc 6. and adding 100 meat birds in a month or so. only lost 1 jersey gaint. next time check you look hatchery, the more you buy the better price
Since last month i hatched 33 chiks from 3 chikens out of 39 egges that makes it 93% of the egges right just lost chik i don't know how so now i have 11 one month old chiks ans 21 others round 9/7 days old 🙏🏻
Half the brooder should be covered to keep the heat in.

We hope to be adding meet bids soon! 100 may be to ambitious for us this first time around though.
A small sand bucket from dollar tree flipped over on top of feeder wil stop them from pooping in feed
