Hotshots golf series are the best golfing games ever. 10 years later I'm still playing it on my Ps Vita. ❤❤❤️

I hope a new Everybody’s Golf does release on PS5. I’ve played almost all the games in the franchise and had so much fun playing them.
Man I'm going to miss playing the open online courses. Was great seeing all the other players running around the courses.

It’s also worth mentioning that Japan Studios (one of Sony’s in house development teams that had a role in basically EG game released) was dissolved last year, making the likelihood of getting another in the series all the more unlikely. Which is very unfortunate… It’s probably my favorite series of games, and one I’ve been playing for nearly 20 years.
I know nothing about golf and I bought everybody’s golf ps4 for no particular reason in 2021. I didn’t get to it until late 2022 then clocked in about 60 hours after seeing the credits roll. What a great game. Little did I know the game was being put offline. The loading screen music is still stuck in my head.
Hot Shots Golf is a better title than everybody's golf. I just bought the first game on PS5. Memories
I’m very disappointed the server has been shut down. It was definitely one of my favorite games to play. Hoping to see E/G revived on PS5 as a stand-alone game in the near future.
It has sort of continued on Switch as "Easy Come Easy Golf" which Clap Hanz released in 2021, maybe Switch 2 will get a new entry in that series

I even bought the japanese version of Everybodys Golf 5. Great game even though i couldn't understand a word they were saying. Hardcore Fan here,lol.
Damn this is sad… i really hope they make another game. I dont think they would abandon their legacy… but who knows. The Hot Shots Golf on Ps3 was really good!!! The last good game in the series in my opinion, as well as the one for Ps Vita was amazing. But I was hoping for something like that with the latest title “Everybody’s Golf” but that was a real big departure and i liked the campaign (for lack of better term) style feeling of the previous games.
It's still ben only a few years since the ps5 came out, and I think we might or might not see another EG title. But to lighten up the mood, my personal favourite EG game was the fourth entry in the series on the PS2 because this amazing game brought over 12 courses and 2 mini golf courses, plus the 9 hole samurai links par 3 course. And the best part? Add in 24 awesome golfers plus Jak, Ratchet, and the caddies as well as Daxter and Clank. The only thing was though was because Everybody's Golf 3 was mostly released in the US, that meant I could never play this title in my PAL region territory. But a great series overall and if anyone is interested, Easy Come, Easy Golf is available digitally on the Nintendo Switch eshop. Great series and Clap Hanz, thank you for all the wonderful memories I've had playing your games.😁👏👏

Hot shots golf world invitational and Out of Bounds were my childhood they were such great games.
I had the vita game, it was amazing.
I also love the Hot Shots Golf games. I am currently playing the one on the ps vita. I really missed Pangya, I really like the one on the psp.

I really like the open courses, sad they're going to go in September rather than let us roam about them in single player.
It was a huge missed opportunity to not have it offline. I also enjoy it.
I’m hoping more on Everybody’s Tennis making a return. The story mode in the last game was so good!
I LOVED that PSP game. So much better than the PS2 original. Really hoping Sony brings it out on PlayStation Plus.
@@dottyduke i know right?? The story is like Pokemon is some ways, traveling around the world with a goal of challenging many players and making new friends along the way💙 i havent played the golf games yet but I'm hoping they're just as fun

According to an article on Game Rant's website, they say "Partial browsing of This Month's Items" and "Partial browsing of Last Month's Items." So I'm assuming it's the section of the in-game store that changes every month. Also means you won't be able to find item present boxes on open courses online either. You'll still be able to get items by playing courses offline, beating versus characters and by copying characters on your island (what you don't own will cost coins though). I'm also assuming lucky box's will still be available in the shop.
Recently Clap Hanz announced new trademarks and analysts believe that they're making a new game but the platforms it'll be on are unknown
On 9/13/22, Clap Hanz Golf was released as Easy Come Easy Golf on the Nintendo Switch for $20. It's most likely this.
I never actually played any of the everbody golf games, BUT i hope this comes back Aswell as Everybody's tennis, since i played Psp one and i loved the story mode, even if it needed some upgrades.
I just want to see a hotshots golf anime. The whaky fun golf style would make a fun comedy style show or cgdct/wholesome show.
Really, the spirit of HSG/Everybodys Golf died with Out Of Bounds. Fore was the last great one they made outside of the VR version, O.B was good, but took away alot of what gave the series its wacky/animated identity.
Even if we don't get another Everybody's Golf game, seeing a Clap Hands Golf game on a mainline platform that isn't Apple Arcade would be good enough for me.

How do you know this? Nothing has been confirmed about there not being a golf game for the ps5.
@@chaselmaojk they are not sony exclusive anymore clearly its the end of playstation golf. If I was clap hanz I would do a deal with Microsoft. Imagine the power of the xbox series x with them making a golf game.

Sounds to me that Clap Hanz somehow cut ties with Playstation and that's why we haven't seen a PS5 iteration of Hot Shots / Everybody's Golf... and also the reason why Clap Hanz Golf exists (it's called Easy come, Easy Golf now). I was really expecting a new game for the newest PS system, it was kind of a tradition for me and a group of friends to play together whenever a new game came out, so I'm super bummed there's not one. I know Easy come Easy Golf is available on the Switch but to be honest, I'm not that into the Switch.
I only played Everybodys Golf 2 on original PS, then moved to PC gaming, but I still rank it as one of the best games I played and had the most fun with. Never pushed myself to buy another PS and have been missing such golf game all this time. Would be shame if they shut down the brand.
I also was not a fan of the fishing, and having the game be all about making your own character… i liked having to work your way up to unlock better characters and better clubs and balls, and courses, etc. I wish they would have just stayed with the old format. I just looked into Clap Hanz Golf and man was i disappointed.
The only time I fished was for the trophy and I never done it again. Was utterly pointless to have. I was SO disappointed in having to create a character. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad to, but its ridiculous how you have to unlock/purchase the same style but in a different color for your collection and getting coins offline is harder/takes longer than online. I wanted fun pre-made characters again and guest characters.
I want to do a video on Clap Hanz Golf in the future. So we'll see what happens in that. xD
@@dottyduke yeah!! If they do make another i hope they bring back premade characters! It felt more authentic rather than just selecting clothes to make a character… it all felt so generic.

Clap Hanz made a new golf game in recent years called Clap Hanz Golf that is for the Apple Arcade. I'd give that a look, dood.

Hot shots Golf/Everybody's Golf was one of the few series I constantly got the new version and even bought new PS systems for. Hard for me to believe that their golf series is doing well on the Apple platform, why not move on to Android, Steam and Epic Games??
Almost bought this game on sale today, but now I understand that the servers are down.
Servers will shutdown September 30. There is still a base game that will be playable offline. Just won't have the option to join open courses and play with others.
If they went back to the Hot Shots style, they’d prosper. The last of these games that remotely felt like Hot Shots Golf was Out of Bounds and the only reason I could tolerate that game is because it had Kratos playable and it was the first of many titles to come that would completely abandon any form of BGM and either go silent or in the case of Out of Bounds, implored the use of a mixture of hotel lobby & grocery store tunes and so it gets a pass for being the first I’d seen (hadn’t identified it as a problem yet, as on first impression it seems like a step forward and not like repetitive decision making). VR saved Everybody’s golf for me, but only because I play old HSG Fore BGM whilst playing. Point is, best move? Remaster the old titles. That or remake them and license the old music. Promote it properly and see if it doesn’t sell better than the last two releases put together. Hope Everybody’s Golf gets a release on ps5 just so that there’s a hope we’ll see it done right or at least get the old games remastered. I would eat remastered 1-4 up like a hog to slop (3 & 4 in particular). Here’s hoping it keeps kickin’ 🦵

As a final hurrah, it whould be my pipe dream to see an "everyone is here" kinda senario in Glorious HD. (seeing my boys Luke and Bjorn not stuck on the PSP and Ps3 respectively) whould be awesome!
....but for reals, I'm 50/50 on it, but I hope and pray this isn't the end

There will be a new Hot Shots or Everybody's Golf. it just wont be made by Clap Hanz. its an exclusive PS title. what ever happen there happen and the moved one to their own thing. I hope its not VR only though. it would be OK to have a mode.

I hate when game companys think that changing a name in a region will help it sell better like even if thats true it just makes things confusing cuz ill always know it as hot shots but literally everyone else will call it everybodys golf idk its just a bit annoying lol
I agree. Everybody's Golf (PS4) was even originally announced as New Hot Shots Golf before it was changed.

Thats the only reason i know its everybodys golf everywhere else is because im watching videos about it and even then theres not enough reviews or retrospectives on the games which is weird but idk hopefully theyll figure jt out or just make those new golf games u were talkin about where its called claphands golf or whatever
@@hunnybunni7680 Clearly the series was popular enough to get as many games as it did but it was never a standout for players. More of a casual crowd than anything. And enjoy your Vita. It may not have much but there are some great games!

Online server's officially shut down September 30, 2022. You will still be able to play the game offline but won't have open courses and will miss out on certain fishing areas.

You can play even offline but platinum will be impossible after the end of this month.
They ruined the franchise with the last game, it didn't have anything that made the previous games great. I think they wanted to make a lot more easier, banal and Rpg-like game hoping it would attract a wider audience, mainly more children, but it backfired on them as the game wasn't as big of a hit as they hoped it would be. After that failure, it looks like they're giving up on the series.
