  • When talking about returning to a regular live music business mode, there is a broad agreement that there will be no specific Day 1, when live music will return to concert venues with maximal capacities. Rather, the return will likely be characterised by a phase of slow enhancement of capacities. Picking up the arguments and reflections on this topic held at ESNS 2021, the Music Cities Network renews the following questions with regards to the current developments.
How can music policy makers facilitate the transition period between zero capacity, reduced capacity and full capacity? Which policies are needed to support the music ecosystem in its quest to return to the stages? Are there already strategies planned on a short/mid/long term level? To discuss these questions, the Music Cities Network invites selected music policy makers and music industry stakeholders to enable a joint discussion.
Speakers: Lex Davidson, Jesper Mardahl, Enric Palau, Helen Sildna
    Host: Debra King
This Talk is presented by Music Cities Network.
