+Dualitiy If you enjoy this kind of duett you gotta give Draconian a try :D They're a bit less melodic and more heavy in sound as they play Gothic Doom Metal, but they also feature a male growling and a female classical singer :)
I loved this when I saw it, It had such a good, blend of the female vocals the rough male vocals, the heavy metal, the female opera and classical. Such good balance, it had a real depth to the whole song, bloody marvelous

I really love Simone Simons voice and male growling and how symphonic metal music sounds here - what a perfect song..! Too sad Epica doesn't have more such cool songs as this one :(

Yo me quedé con este álbum... es el mejor para mi. Los demás sinceramente no... El sonido era más puro y bello. Un estilo que ya no volví a escuchar en esta banda nunca más... lástima.
Igual yo, para mi este álbum es lo mejor que tiene Epica, amo la banda pero como este álbum ya no hay ningún otro, la bando pasó de metal sinfónico puro a metal progresivo con un poco de sinfonías, aunque ya no tanto, por ejemplo este ultimo The Holographic Principle es mas progresivo y extremo que sinfónico, a lo mucho se oyen cantos y coros que intentan serlo pero no llega al clímax del The Phantom Agony. The Divine Conspiracy es bastante bueno, si la banda hubiese seguido ese rumbo tal vez no se sintiera tanto la diferencia, aun así la banda se sigue expandiendo y eso me gusta porque pueden seguir haciendo mas música que al fin de tanto es lo que les gusta y nos gusta a muchos lo que hacen.
Si las bandas no cambian y conservan su estilo las llaman aburridas y repetitivas :vv si cambian las llaman vendidas o que ya no hacen música "como antes"

Epica is better than Delain, imho. Maybe even better than Nightwish, in some respects. Delain is still a great band though. Well... was a great band since it became a one-man project couple weeks ago :-(

Epica was great but recently Simone voice got old I mean really more Sarah Brightman shrill Retrospective album felt tired. BTW she is still pretty hot
in retrospect she was pregnant and performing. anyway I 100% don't agree with you. with age her voice got more defined and better, as well as the way she sings live, she got refined. I watched them live in concert 1 month ago, and I listened to their newest full length album.
i still disagree, she is way hotter now :P anyway for years she tried to go out of her comfort vocal zone, but now she's right where she needs to be. Her live performance is very good.

Yes! So much yes! I really tried to love their songs. Her voice is beautiful, the music is awesome but this just ruins any of their songs for me because I just can't stand it at all and that makes me sad.
