Appreciate the unboxing vid. High quality close ups, size comparison, and clear shots. This thing has been on my radar for about 2 weeks now. May pick one up depending how the market shifts when the next generation is announced/released. My GTX 1080 is practically telling me that it can't handle larger scenes in Blender. All these people telling you what to do with your money is funny. If there is one thing I've learned in life. It's never to count someone else's pockets and worry about mine. One question. Has the card given you any issues in performance throttling due to the VRAM overheating similar to the 3090? I know the TI variant moved all of the VRAM to the front of the PCB but I've not come across any videos that have done any stress tests in regards to it. Once again, thanks for the video.
Got one about a month and half ago. Thing is a monster in size and not too shabby in performance. It’s physically a monster compared to the two 3080tis I have. Both from EVGA.
For real. I've had multiple 3060, 3070, and 3080 at this point. Besides the ASUS Noctua and the Gigabyte Aorus Master its got everything else beat as far as physical size.
Why anyone would buy this is just beyond me. Outside of professional use, I see no point. Extremely inefficient for what you are getting. Not to mention the 4070 will match this card. R.I.P.....
@@Captainjaciv very true. But I'm speaking more form the gaming perspective. Because who on earth is going to use up 24gigs of vram in a video game? Yet ppl actually spend there money on a card like this when all they do is play video games. Under that context, this card and the normal 3090 for that matter are absolutely stupid purchases.
@@AdamantMindset I have money to buy that card now problem. I just won't because for playing video games, all I need is a 3080. Why would I want to spend a lot more money for 10 to 12% boost to my fps? That's like willingly asking to bend over and get f@cked
@@andremostert8630 I just bought one for gaming because realistically it's not like EVGA is making GPUs anymore so I needed as overkill as possible and I couldn't find a new kingpin
That things is a BIG CHUNGUS! Thought my Founders 3090 was large but not compared to this thing.
This card is by far the THICCCest card i've ever had. My old school AMD(ATI) 5970 GPU still takes the cake for length though

See on the professional use aspect the 4070 will have no where near 24gb of VRAM.
Knowing NVIDIA it'll be 10GB but actually you're getting 9.5
