hi thank you for this video very helpful. I am trying to remove the chuck and have removed the left handed screw, but cannot seem to unscrew the chuck by tightening an Allen key in the chuck. something is slipping inside the gearbox, do you know why this might be? many thanks
I bought used drill like this. Everything looks to be working fine, except when tightening chunk by hand, motor rotates with it (only when I have it in 2 gear). Is that normal or should motor be locked in that case?
I had the same fault. Took it back to the supplier and they had it repaired for me no questions asked. They also replaced the chuck because I had wrecked it by not being able to tighten it properly and drill bits had been slipping.

Wonder if I can do anything to repair it myself instead if replacing the gear assembly.

Did you not think the disassemble part would be worth videoing? That somehow that might help people more than an assembly video?
