Thank you,Jason. This is a very useful video. You are correct, and I am guilty of just diving in, and then I'm disappointed. I need to slow down and be mindful.
Thank you for your very informative videos. I have followed you for many years, thankyou thankyou for your free tuition. I do have one question though, I am a great believer in the separated colour swatches. But if I make swatches of all my colours on Pastelmat colour X and then decide a different colour pastelmat board is more suited to my subject then is there not going to be some colour variation if my swatches Are on a different colour pastelmat card. ???
Thanks! I really needed this...and I should watch many more times as I find myself sometimes rushing because of lack of patience! I guess and think I am right-till I discover I am wrong...its frustrating...I believe its worth the extra time to pick and choose the correct colour! Also-I have never split my sets into the colours...I am thinking now that I should do that, as of right now each set has its own little box...but when i am doing a big painting like the Macaw-I end up with EVERY red and orange out from EVERY set...and still not at all sure what I am doing!!!
Hello Jason. A very informative colour pick video. One question I have is: when making pastel colour swatches, how do you stop them smudging? Thank you.
