I'm from the UK but my background is Jamaican. In the UK we are mainly 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation West Indian and African (1st and 2nd generation) Black people. Tbh until I saw this video I was VERY convinced that you were Jamaican all this time LOL.
The problem is this man could gave been genuine as I really did think you were Jamaican and I know my people or any other island in the Caribbean. Or he wanted to do the whole exoticism ignorance. Our mentality isn't necessarily the same and we don't like fetishism as a Brit or West Indian. It happens a lot here too with black men trying to guess you as different countries and races even when you are from the same place and insecurity with a lot of women due to colourist and featurism makes them want to boost their self esteem.
We are black people and very proud in the UK and very connected to our roots and those that are less so in their mentality do the same s**t. Girl you are beautiful and your self confidence is what he saw and I'm glad that you didn't entertain that. 💛
