for me the biggest great changes of architecture was in 2000s like taipei 101 (2004) and the biggest skyscraper in the world Burj Khalifa (2009) Shanghai world financial center (2008)
I don't know what the official term is for present day architectural styles (like modernism and post modernism) but I have nicknamed it eco modernism, though is fairness I might have read that somewhere, it's what I think of more current developments.
If you try to sum up history in three minutes, you are bound to leave out something... including gothic and the entire eastern hemisphere. That's understandable, as on my channel I emphasize western architecture since that is where my training and travels have taken me. (I also don't attempt to sing.) I appreciate the effort to spread the good news about architecture.
tbh modern and contemporary architecture look shit. i wish most houses here in europe were built like roman and greek villas, with decorations and fountains n shit
this is mega cringe. i think the content is good but the artistic style choice of using hip hop creates a strong dissonance for the viewer. its like playing opera music at a club, its just a mismatch of environment and message
