You need to try Joyor electric scooter X5S with motor 500w and 48V with a battery 13Ah and 48v it's amazing you can run with 40km/h and the range is 50km.
Great review compared to other channels, Im subbed :)
Can check out the new sharerollerV4 for us it's supposed to be in production . Let me know if you will. Thanks
Take a look at Weped - it goes 70 kph
Can you use this like a regular kick scooter after the battery runs out? How does it perform as a regular scooter?
Excellent review; very through, detailed, honest and objective... Probably the best review I've seen on a scooter.
Great review! You've worked every crucial aspect into detail and the comparison with m365 is a perfect addition to the review.
Great review.
- Chest cam to review what it's like in challenging conditions... e.g. uphill, over paving with dimples etc great work.
- Audio is clear throughout.
- Uploaded in 4k all the way down. I use 1080p 30fps as that suits my 3220t cpu and 1080p LG IPS monitor.
- Fantastic explanation of the benefits and cons of the scooter and also in relation to other scooters out there.
Just an FYI I will be commenting on a lot of your videos going forward as the more comments on your uploads helps you with regards to the youtube algorithms in making your channel more popular and better for ads etc.
Really thankful for the work you carry out on products in your studio and also the products that require you to go outdoors too.
Really great channel. Big thumbs up on the vid too. Thanks.
Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated!
Under load a battery will drop voltage instantly and if the battery meter is measuring voltage then you will get an apparent almost immediate drop in battery power remaining. It's not actually the case. The battery may still have plenty of power remaining in it, it's just a poorly designed battery meter. From an electronic engineer. The only accurate test of the battery power/life is to ride the scooter until completely exhausted. Near the end you will definitely notice a slowing/loss of power due to further voltage drop, this is most noticeable with lithium batteries which drop voltage incredibly quickly once starting to 'become flat'.
Wow! Excellent review. Really one of the best reviewers on RUclips. Much appreciated. I am going to buy one of these.
You know you are by a mile far my best RUclips reviewer ???
Really great review, thanks so much. I really like the head to head comparison with the Xiaomi, as those looking for a scooter like me, really want to know how they compare.
thanks so much for this review!!! exactly what i was looking for, especially the comparison between this and xiaomi's!
Nice review 👍👍💪
Great review, thanks. I'd like to see a review of es808
This very closely resembles the E-TWOW/Uscooter 2nd-gen Booster Plus. Great review.
Yes very similar to that one.
E-TWOW is the name they use in Europe. I believe they have an exclusive rep for that region. The company is in Singapore.
It is a rebranded E-twow in Singapore. Uscooter in USA, and E-twow for the rest. Same scooter.
Thang: Thanks for clarifying it!
nope different companies and the scooters are not 100% similar. stryder is better, fx. better wheels and also cheaper.
Hei techtablet. Why don't you make a video about top chineese tablets displays since the screen is one major thing that we spor our eyes on all the time. Always respect for your reviewing professionality
Excellent review thanks. Bought it.
Idiot
Great review, thanks.
great review!!! Thanks
Thanks for this review. From the philippines.
Thanks great review!
Loved this review. I've decided to save up to get one of these. Looks like it just might be able to handle the hills where I live. Wonder what I would do should it need repair though.
I have a zoom stryder for 2 months. It's a good scooter, light for its power and features (11kg for 500W motor and 280Wh battery) but it has a huge drawback: no support/warranty at all. My one came with a problem in the ESC (I cannot turn on the Turbo mode) and one month ago the rear light doesn't turn off, even with the scooter off. I had to disconnect the light cable to avoid battery drain.
I tried to contact the support several times, by email, web site form and online chat. No answer at all. After receiving your payment, they vanish. You are on your own and good luck. And I'm not the only one complaining about it.
Front and back
Great review! I'm curious how this would compare to the Ecoreco S5.
Because of the comments here about bad customer service, I tried to post a "review" on their website , which has only positive reviews. I wanted to express my concerns about buying from them. It didn't appear--fair enough, since it wasn't a real review---so I sent them an email to which they didn't reply. (But they did add me to their email list.) I wouldn't buy one of these unless I could get it from a local dealer who can repair it and do an exchange if it fails during the warranty period. But Their dealers are all in Singapore, and I'm in the U.S.
Lord Buckley thanks for the heads up! The Xiaomi 365 got almost 5 stars on Amazon, I think I’ll go that route
Buckley, thanks for sharing. What is the name of the dealer in Singapore? I like FalconPEV and they also ship internationally, they sell a lot of great scooters. But no xoom.
Thank you! Bought the scooter based on your review. Beautiful place where you live... They had a 10% coupon for Christmas, so I didn't use yours. I am happy to confirm I bought it because of this video just tell me how.
jandeflores how's the scooter holding up? Does it really tackle hills nicely?
Great review as always. Looks really good, but its more expensive than xiaomi scooter. Is it worth the higher price ?
Love the quality of your review. Any chance of reviewing the Luna Apocalypse 2 scooter?
Very good review thank you
I am living in Austria which is a rainy country.
Is this thing water resistant?
Can u still ride it when the battery is empty?
Can u ride it when it is off or is it really heavy or something?
Thanks for your time!
So i finally got it, its actually pretty good. i weigh about 90kg+10kg with backpack and this scooter is able to carry my up to 29kph. it was able to maintain its speed of 27kph on 10-20% charge capacity on flat roads.I tested the mileage of this scooter and i got about 17km from 1 charge, as for hills i tested it on a 20% grade and it goes at about 19kph on it. Im happy with it at the moment, i previously owned another electric scooter which is the ZERO/JACKHOT/NEXT DRIVE LIGHT the carbon fiber scooter and i hated it, it doesnt go as fast as this one, it has no suspension(which is a must if your buying one trust me!!) and overall battery consumption is bad. I haven't owned any ETWOW brand scooter before so i dont really know how to compare this with that, but i recommend this scooter if your looking for a commuter electric scooter.
Thanks! Any new updates after 3 weeks.
vert Biggs Is it possible to get an update on how you're finding it? Are you still happy with it? Thanks in advance
Looks great. Does this scooter need a kick start like the Xiaomi to get it going, or can it start from stationary ?
How do you do wheelies with the motor on the front wheel?
Awesome review man! Are the tires and brakes easy to buy and replace for the Stryder Zoom? I live in New York City and is still undecided between the Stryder Zoom, Ninebot Segway ES2 and the Xiaomi M365. I like The ES2 design the most but its slower than the Stryder Zoom and the Xiaomi M365. I weigh 160 pounds and plan to ride about 7 miles a day. I read the Xiaomi M365 has issues with the brake noise and the tires constantly get flats and is hard to replace. Any suggestions? Thank you
Very practical review.
Hi, how does this scooter handle hills? Is it comparable to the s5 dual motor scooter on hills? Thanks
Have you ever heard of Luna Cycles? They have a scooter it's called the Apocalypse V2, goes 35mph. 60v 20ah a massive 1200 watt battery.
What did you call or purpose of the wire as you can see under connected to fork rear wheel?
Could you review ninebot es2 + battery ? Tq
Does it have regenerative braking?
hi mate, do you put oil on brushless motors? if so any recommendation and is it really advisable? thanks
How do you lock your scooter? I have an U lock but is very heavy any better suggestions?
Is that the battery indicator on the left of the display if so why does it drop like that?
Where is it made?
is it reliable ? how many seconds do you need to exchange the tires when used ? can you drive in heavy rain ?
I own the Zoom Stryder EV model, and the Uscooter Booster Plus.
Uscooter takes the cake in terms of performance, quality, and durability. Uscooter for the win!
I have one of these scooters and it worked for a few months then things started to fall apart, it wouldn’t turn on all of the time and the throttle wouldn’t work. The company sent me a new screen which seemed to fix the issue with the scooter turning on ( I note that the video they sent on how to do this was in Chinese and was so poorly made you couldn’t follow what the guys were doing). but the throttle still won’t work. I have emailed the company 20 times about the throttle but they never respond so I needed to order a new scooter from another company cause no one knows how to fix it and the company is ignoring me Worked great until it stopped working and don’t expect the company to care even if it’s under warranty. What a waste
This scooter looks like it's very torquey and its ability to climb hills is a definite plus. So many of these e scooters struggle climbing hils. I may eventually purchase one of these. based on the specs, the 700 price tag looks more than fair. I like the fact the motor is on the front wheel. I had an electric bike with the motor on the front wheel, and the torque was excellent.
You ended up getting about 12 miles in range, and you went up hills, which would definitely use more battery power. However, when you go down hill it helps battery power.
Tomorrow I'm going to buy this scooter. Two questions: 1) Fully charged battery if all the while using eco mode can travel how many km distance? Any different in range compare to Turbo mode? 2) You shown us how to set to Turbo mode but how to set back to eco mode? Is it just follow the same step? Thanks.
could you please do a top 5 for electric scooter?
do you need to fill air in these tires quite often ?
Nice review.
Was convinced to get that scooter until you got to the price. Damn, oh well, I need to keep looking.
When the battery is finished. Can I use this scooter as normal scooter? pushing with my leg...
You are handsomely helpful!
What's the riding height of the handlebar, compared to the Xaiomi? ? I'm tall so need it pretty high
I need help with my scooter .My scooter can't charge .When I charge it while turning it off the green lights on and when Turing it on while charging the battery percentage goes up at 100% .
Firmware Update with the Mi and you get about 1kw and 32kmh Speed with out a problem. Of course you have to be careful with temperatures but the climbing ability is extremly engaged. Thanks for your work!
DailyThinking is that an official firmware update for the Mi?
Ashley McCallum no it's not
Hi chris, great review as always. So i ordered a mi scooter ages ago from gearbest but it appears to have been lost in transit. I actually only paid around £260 to the uk but i'm hoping to get a refund. Do you think its worth getting the Stryder instead? Is it worth the extra cash? I just prefer the look of the mi scooter but that torque and quick charging time and light weight on the stryder does seem tempting.
@TechTablets.com
Do the speed maintain at lower levels of battery?
vert Biggs yes
Yeah use the lower mode and u get longer battery at lower speeds...
So in fast mode you killed the battery in less than a minute?
Doctor Jack it's a voltage drop under load. That's all
I don't get it. Looked like the charge went from 100% to 0% in under a minute and under 1km travelled.
Well sir Crazy, typically lazy firmware engineers will simply poll battery voltage and associate that with a state of charge (SOC). This has its flaws, because while it is true that battery voltage is proportional to SOC its also has an inverse relationship with current. Batteries have a equivalent series resistance (ESR) and the more current you draw(like going full power in "fast" mode), the more battery voltage is going to droop thus the battery monitor thinks the pack is depleted. You see this effect everyday when you start your car and all the lights go dim/off.
@Brad Evans just buy a new battery lol electric scooters are like RC cars it's really a hobby you should buy expecting to spend extra money fiddling with it.
Got me convinced, just ordered 1
Constantin Sirbu please let us all know how their Customer Service is! I’d be interested to know. Thank you!!
How do you mount a seat on it???
What scooter do you recommend for someone 250lbs?
Question for you - I am 189cm and just under 100kgs just wondering any recommendations on scooters - thanks
Do such scooters recharge when going downhill or when you're pushing?
They do, regen braking. But you only gain a few % not a lot.
I like it.
Very nice and helpful Video, I am planning to buy this after watching your video, I hear you said 2 hours charging time but how much distance I can travel at full charge? 5km, 10km, etc. Your answer is very important to me and any other info will be really helpful to me, Thanks.
In the vid he went 18km on 81kg weight, if you're lighter will be more
It would be hilarious if you could get your hands on one of those off-roady 2400W+ scooters.
I saw the battery die on the first test. Is that true?
what do you think of speedway mini 4 ?
I just got mine! it's great, the only think is that it's limited to 25 KM/H. Is there any way of increasing it to the advertised 30? Im in the UK.
My Stryder won't turn on unless it's plugged in. It died on me with battery at 80%. I can turn on the display but it will turn off after only a split second. Won't even get to the display, it lights up and instantly turns off. Any insight is appreciated.
Hi tech! I love the review! Im trying to buy the xiaomi m365 from your link and coupon to gearbest, but the coupon expired! I've been shopping around and i'm not able to find one under $550 shipping included to the US. I'm really looking for a decent ride quality scooter that can go up to 20km distance at around $350, similar to the xiaomi! Do you think you can help me out?
Sorry I have no control over the coupons, I just post the ones I find online. Google for them and see what you find?
Andy K Jetson Beam from Target...$249
@@RayRiv73 those are for kids and teens... most dont do over 200lbs... and if they do they are over $500
If you don't want to buy the Xiaomi M365, then go for the Segway Ninebot ES2.
Just Purchased one with the trolley bag. Exited to try it out, the wait is the worst part of all! They said 7 to 10 days so we will see.
What is the rider weight capacity?
Hi, thanks for your videos. You mention you've put solid tyres on your Xiaomi. Which ones did you use? I've currently got BIKIGHT Micropore tyres but they've essentially ruined the scooter taking all the power and range as they're too soft. Would really appreciate any recommendations!
Why on earth will you put a solid tire on Xiaomi without shock absorber or suspension
This looks identical to the Kugoo S1 , i wander if they are made in the same factory, the Kugoo is less than half the price at 288 euro . power rating is not clear if it is peak or nominal ?
Which scooter has the better range
What is the weight limit on the scooter?
Battery time? Battery is exhausted so fast.
Can you make a quick comparison of all the scooters pros and cons?
Can we boost the electric scooters
The battery seems to be draining way too quickly. Was this the ex model Chris?
Also, are there scooters out there with longer range limits, like 50-80km per charge?
i´m 6´3"...is the handle tall enough for me?
Nice thorough review. Wish I got this instead of Xiaomi M187.
Trying to decide whether to get the Mi365, Zoom stryder EX, or Uscooter/etwow booster.
Which One are you using more day to day? M365, Zoom or Segway?
Many countries have laws that limit the top speed to 25km/h. I read on the Zoom website that it comes locked to 25km/h for this reason and it can be unlocked by the user to go to 30. How is this unlocking done and can you reset it back to 25 if you have to?
US availability?
Anyone know if the Alibaba scooters any good? Seem kind of cheap for lots of power
Is this scooter rideable in the wet?
Hey Chris, finally received my mi scooter, nice machine. Just wondered though are you using the Stryder as your daily driver now?Do you really think it is worth the extra $250+ over the xiaomi? As I am considering selling and getting the Stryder to make hill climbs easier, but the are both listed as having around 16NM of torque.
Think I answered you on the site. But yes it's my daily, but sometimes I use my Mi Scooter if I leave the Stryder at home. It tackles hills better than my Xiaomi and I like the higher top speed. Brakes aren't quite as good as my Xiaomi (mentioned in the review) so really it depends on the area you are, if you have more hills the Stryder will mean less kicking and maybe even go up some where as the Mi cannot.
Based on your reviews/comments I decided to take a leap of faith and sell my Xiaomi and buy the zoom stryer to make hills climbing easier. I just need a little extra power. My wife who weighs 60kg can get up the hills in the Xiaomi but with me being 90kg I need to kick it along.
Hey Raf, how did you find the Stryder compared to the Xiaomi? I'm currently trying to decide between the two.
Xiaomi has in fact more powerful engine and can go with the same top speed. It is locked by default, but can be unlocked with custom software
Raf Mahn did you get the Zoom Styder? How does it compare with the Xiaomi? Does it tackle the hills any better?
Can I ride it in the rain ?
which is better this or xiaomi m365¡¡
