To the negative comments:
Most of the people from ANet in this raid were the writers, the people who write the story of the game. Not the people that designed the raids.
3 of them had never raided before, and we were never given time to give them a proper explanation of the raid boss mechanics.

No wonder they're bad then, they wrote Braham.
Problem being here is many people also don't like the writing staff as many disagree with many of their choices, like killing off certain Charr whose just achieved their dream for no reason at all that equated to nothing besides them being like "but we need some shock value". When they've killed off SO many characters its more just an annoying experience now instead of shock, like GW2 is Game of Thrones, the resolving door of stupid deaths like Faolin doing a 180 on her personality which leads to hers and Eirs death or Smodor doing a 180 on his personality.
They should have watched some GTTP videos before the event. If only there was a website where those can be conveniently searched and watched.
Wait people are actually upset about some writers playing raids poorly during a charity stream? lol I have no words.

As a main healer, It pains me to watch Muk carrying all the raid on his back and not having all the credit hi deserves, Specially in an raid boss as easy as Cairn!

You could have shown them your "Get to the point" videos, they certainly helped my group with Cairn lol. Well done on beating Cairn with the devs, its good to see that ArenaNet has different departments that specialise in different parts of the game.
Nice work Muk for the great gameplay and heals, and great editing by Noxxi. Your healer Engi build looks cool! I'll have to look into how to make an Engi that's as efficient at healing and reviving as yours.

Such is the lot of the healer. We're the bass players of the band. The lead singer and guitar get all the glory but the bottom carries everyone! I'm not sure who the drummer would be...maybe Scourge.
Ah, the pain of being a Scrapper Healer..... so often undervalued. I swear, I don't announce my Function Gyros and I think ppl have zero idea how often I save their asses with it. I still join groups where ppl don't realise a heal scrapper can give 100% quickness uptime.
Watching the pure, manic panic that was the last 9% of the third pull still makes me smile.

@@MuklukRUclips function gyro and necro rez signet are some of the most fun i've had in raids lol. i got a nickname for getting a clutch rez on our hand kiter in a deimos run
this was so odd to watch as I'm used to seeing muk call out the shots and lead the raid. also the fact that muk didn't get to explain the raid and then they didn't even mention him and all his rezzes at the end :(

9 supports and 1 dps raid, wow! Haha Jk. I know they were new to raids, but those numbers and amount of down states rather indicate that they were new to moving and pressing buttons xD And they didn't even recognize Muk's hard work!! The gall!!

I watched the vod on twitch, I don't recall hearing the stutters :thinking: Don't think it was there, maybe I just didn't notice the stutterer under the others :D That video footage in low quality game vid settings, ouch! :D
Would u say heal scrapper is nearly as big of carry as hscg? It looked like u did lot of resses and heals whereas with hscg u don't heal much at all but ress alot
In the right condions. Hscourge has very low healing output, but very high rez potential on a short cooldown (seconds).
Hscrapper has VERY HIGH healing output and useful boons (like quickness & stability) and a strong (also long range) revive option with function gyro. If you use gyro to rez one person it will be back up in 25 seconds (or less with alacrity) which is still REALLY nice, but not as short a cd as necros revive option.
So on cairn where people can go downstate far away I like function gyro more, but on boneskinner where people go downstate every 5 seconds sometimes, my Hscourge carries harder. If you are in a good group where no one is ever going downstate, the boons/heals from the scrapper are better than what the scourge provides.

How many supporst do you guys have? Tempest Scourge Druid and Scrapper? are they all supports or are they more dps with boon application ?

It's probably a good thing that the upper half of arc is cut off for first attempt but that in the lower half nobody did over like 5k on cairn is hilarious

I solo'd Cairn faster than this before Mirage alac staff got nerfed. It was my first raid ever, I did it to unlock my raid masteries and I haven't raided since
61 revives. Super awesome. xD

My educated GUESS is that the machine they had running the stream and voice over IP was memory capped or something, cause even the call I had to them was cutting in and out at the times their stream would.

This is one issue i see with being a healer... there is no way to see who is doing the most work in that position!!!
That is painful to watch. It is a shame they neither enjoy raids on the regular, nor get a good explanation by Muk in the beginning. 😅

As a Warframe player I must say, these people are super in touch with their own game by **some developers'** standarts.
To be fair, I think most of the Anet devs there were writers. Indigo is a writer and she was top DPS

@@gmkoshy Why? Writers dont get hired to a game dev team bc they're good at a a game, they get hired bc they're good at writing. The balance team is seperate and probably spends a lot of time studying the game itself.
@@orangeglow57Official the writing sucks too! But really, familiarity is different from expertise, perhaps I’m in the extreme in thinking they should be familiar with the raids. How do you write (hypothetically) a storyline and not have any idea how the raid plays out?

I know that ANet don't play their own game, that's obvious seeing their design decisions, but can't they even do ONE content (not a talk show for nerds) stream that doesn't crash and burn? Can they afford a stable broadband, or are they stuck on dial-up and toaster microphones?
What's with pronouns? Did u put it there or they wanted to Muk? We are not blind and can see they're guy or girl lmao it's like people nowadays just choose theirs and ask everyone to comply bruh
That's how interpersonal communication tends to work. People tell you how they want to be addressed - be it in regards to their first name, last name, specific titles or, indeed, pronouns - and ask you to comply. You can, naturally, choose not to do so, but it would likely be considered somewhat rude.
The box with the devs camera (including the pronouns thing) was cropped from their stream. It was something they wanted shown apparently so I just included it.
