Katina and I decided to kick off our 2021 food challenge touring in Florida, and our February Florida Tour turned into a February & March Florida Tour!! I attempted lots of food challenges all over the state of Florida. For food challenge #32, I traveled to CHIVE Quick Creative Cuisine in Vero Beach, Florida which is on the Treasure Coast of Florida. I was the first person to attempt and help kick off Chive's Ultimate Taco Challenge which had a 45 minute time limit to finish 16 specialty tacos plus 2 Reuben Rolls and a 1lb Max & Cheese burrito filled with beef steak & macaroni and cheese. I also had to finish 2 flights from their 24 available on-tap beer options. I was trying to win my $99 meal free plus a sweet t-shirt & hat, and the first spot up on Chive's Wall of Fame. Chive's Ultimate Taco Challenge w/ 2 flights of beers in Vero Beach, Florida ($99):
CHIVE is known for quick creative cuisine and has served Vero Beach, Florida for many years!!
CHIVE is under the same ownership (Lou) as The Green Marlin Restaurant and Raw Bar.
CHIVE offers sandwiches, salads, tacos, burritos, and many more items on the menu.
For this ultimate taco challenge, there is 4 EACH of 4 different specialty tacos recommended.
You can pick other options with different meats and/or toppings. I let Lou pick the four I got.
My tacos I ordered - Korean Beef, Classic Chicken, Baja Chicken, and Southern Pork Tacos.
The challenge also includes 2 signature Reuben Rolls and their popular Max & Cheese Burrito.
Along with the food, you must finish 2 flights of beers from their 24 available on-tap options.
45 minute time limit to finish everything. Winners earn the $99 meal free and Wall of Fame!!
Champions also win a sweet t-shirt & hat. Call ahead to schedule your challenge if interested.

I keep coming back for a lot of things, but one of them is how Randy always pumps up the place he is doing the challenge. It's refreshing to see someone who takes the time to compliment the food and the ownership so consistently.
In one video about places he wont visit again, he talked about how he always makes it a priority to promote the restaurant and help them with positive marketing and I admire that a lot about him. I agree it is nice to see someone show respect and kindness to the host restaurant

Trying to lose weight and get fit so I'm living vicariously through you and your videos
I eat a lot of veggies everyday and a protein shake. I also exercise in the morning high intensity. I think that you can't afford to eat this stuff in high volume if you want to lose weight. It takes like 5 to 1 as far as veggies and other stuff to fried foods to make a healthy diet.

For some reason I like watching these videos when I am fasting. I get some weird satisfaction that motivates me to not eat. I started watching you when you were doing the Alaska tour with Katina. I could never do what you do. I could eat for two weeks on one of the meals you eat in less than an hour.

The thing I admire the most about these Florida challenges is the presentation are out of this world! Looking back at all the challenges, the variety of color, the organization and the hospitality is outstanding! By far my favorite tour you’ve took.

Looked like a fun and awesome challenge. As for not ever doing blue crabs again as a challenge, I have to say at least ONCE if you intend to rematch.
