Naruto and Sasuke were at 50% during this fight Naruto after getting drained and protecting the village from a massive explosion and Sasuke from teleporting himself and everyone there
The craziest part is in pretty much all of Sasuke's fights he can probably only fight at 40% max chakra due to having to both teleport into the fight and out of the fight. And we saw how much chakra space time ninjutsu of teleportation (especially Amenotejikara uses) when a SO6P KCM 2 Naruto clone combined with Obito's chakra in the fight against Kaguya wasn't enough to traverse dimensions. Even Zetsu warned Kaguya (the freaking mother of all chakra on planet earth) that she was being reckless with her chakra dimension hoping. As if Sasuke only fighting with one arm AND losing his Cursed Mark (psuedo Sage mode) wasn't bad enough, every fight he has in Boruto he has to save most of his chakra a a transportation contingency. Now he lost his Rinnegan too. At least Naruto got to have a 2nd arm and keep his sage mode when he lost Kurama, but damn, the nerfs don't stop for that boy Sasuke.
12:20 that rinnegan ability has a cooldown that increases exponentially based on how long the user had the ability active, so maybe momoshiki was waiting to use it until he could no longer evade the attacks to minimize its cooldown. I remember the cooldown of almighty push being a big factor during Kakashi and Naruto's fights against Pain in the leaf village.

There's a reason why there was so much focus on deceit, concealment and stealth and why transformatio, clone and substitute jutsus are the jutsus every kid had to learn to graduate from the academy. If you asked me the super saiyan 'fox mode' transformation really put the nail in the coffin for me.
They did tho? Most team 7 mission fights are them doing hands (the Mitsuke dessert arc, prison mission, and that one with the pokemon monster thing - which they didn't had to go hard for but they did - etc.). At least before the kara arc (and even then they had deepa - which had great focus strategy). But even then that's a whole hundred eps. They weren't yet godlike (or yet now) and _had_ to fight with taijutsu and ninjutsu.
