Hi! For a dance audition, I'm looking for some old school hiphop inspiration. Being too young to have lived in the golden hiphop era itself, I wondered if you could help me out by naming some dancers that have inspired you, from de old school scene! I feel like a kid asking questions for their first school assignment, but I'm just looking for inspiration! Groetjes!
Edit: I wouldn't ask if I hadn't enjoyed your video, thanks for uploading it!

Nope, this is not old school hip hop style at all, this is still mockery of hip hop style by scripted choreography crap

@@thespiritualgroove9540 I was born in 70's so I have lived through 80's and 90's... so I think you're the ignorant young boy here, not me.

Young? lol don't let my young look decieve you! I am from 1973 just turned 50.. When we were Funkin, bboying and popping in the late 70s ya'll would be dancing folkloric or at the most maybe disco! haha!@@-ED- I know because the slavics/russians etc (except for the western european countries) were late in the game surely after '85, so I've withnessed and been told by your russian Hiphop superriors/pioneers, perhaps due to Andropov or Gorbachev C-regimes??! Bboy Storm was my dance partner from the early 90s to mid 90s and even he wasn't dancing untill AFTER '85 so even he started much later than I. There's no comparising Slavic/Russian/foreign Hiphop to the Amsterdam oldschool who've always been the backbone and backyard for american art dance and music with New York in particular. You're talkin to a 1st Gen'er a true O.G who've been in Hiphop since 1979 untill 2024 that's a whole lifetime of 46 yrs continuous Hiphop. So betta Respect and recognize and know who you talkin with!
At the time of filming most were already dancing for several years (since late 70s):

Hiphop oldschool showcase with my old crew (Rap & Dance after bboying) in 1992:

In the mid to late 80s Amsterdam (Holland) stopped breakdancing and went on making beats (synths/samplers) writing rhymes in english, we were focussed developping the standing hiphop dance styles/freestyles/club styles/sessioning in clubs (House dance). My crew was highly respected by US artists such as Tribe called Quest, Divine styler, Tim Dog, Master P etc and ofcourse dancers from all over the globe because of our uniqueness. So don't let my scripted 90s Hiphop basic combo let you astray! that's just part of the job!
