Well seeing people taking their RC vehicles ‘for a walk’ on the track was something I wasn’t expecting 😂 But I guess that’s what they’re made for! This was absolutely stunning Dave! My gosh those autumnal leaves, the coloured carpet - spectacular 😍🍂🍁 Your nature trail walks are definitely my favourite any time of year but wow - autumn is a treat in the cooler climates of the northern hemisphere 🧡
Funnily enough I've just stopped the film, after this wonderful walk on my treadmill , just as that couple steered their cars round the tree roots. And then your comment was top of the list as I pressed to leave a comment!!
This was truly amazing & such a lovely walk. I would love to live in the same area as this. My heart & soul would be full everyday!! 🥰💕 Thank u for sharing this.
There should have been a sign at the start of the trail that read "This trail is only for the sure-footed, agile, stong of mind and adventurous souls. Your journey will be difficult but there will be many rewards along the way." Absolutely amazingly beautiful!
I should show my Mum this walk and the coins stuck in the tree. When I was little she always used to tell me that money doesn't grow on trees, now I can prove her wrong! Thanks for another fabulous walk Dave.
Ah I love this place. It's like the Peak District's answer to the seaside in summer, though. Hoards of kiddies paddling and even an ice-cream van on the side of the road!
Loved everything about this walk Dave. I just love walks in the woods with streams running along the way. Absolutely beautiful all the way. Thank you so much for taking me along.🥰
Probably one of my top 5 walks of yours Dave mate, only because these resonate with me so very much, as a hiker and adventurer. I absolutely LOVE this one.
Happy to hear it! It is also a favourite one of mine, Iv'e been wanting to film this one for a few years now, but was forever waiting for the perfect conditions, this day worth the wait!
As an old man whose favorite activity was always walking, especially in nature, these silent walks let me imagine I am the walker. Since age precludes me from still walking here in the foothills of California’s Gold Country, I can never thank you enough for all these walks I am now taking - in my head at least. 😊
Bonjour cher, daves j'espère que tu va bien, je suis très contente de te revoir, toujours avec toi on voit des beaux endroits, quelle belle fauré, merci beaucoup mon cher ami et joyeux noël. Aïcha. 👏👏👍👍😍😍🇨🇵🇩🇿🇨🇭☺️☺️🌹🌹
Padley Gorge is another very beautiful area to walk around the forest is a very nice place to explore and is a very popular place with all the people there and I always like seeing the rural areas of England and the countryside once again another great video of this nice place of Padley Gorge, Thank You and i wish you a very Merry Christmas Dave.🎄🇬🇧🇬🇧☃️🇬🇧🇬🇧🎄
padley gorge? grindleford station? burbage brook? toad's mouth waterfall? i think this might be an imaginary forest. ❤❤❤ thanks dave dear, it's just beautiful. 👋👋👋
It's cold here as well. I can almost feel it there. Those fall colors with the contrasting brown, red and yellow leaves against the green lichen and moss is striking. I'm enjoying this.
Beautiful. We have some areas like this in the southern states of U.S., but always on the look out for poisonous snakes - copperheads, water moccasins, rattlesnakes - yuck. Do you have many poisonous snakes there?
There are some snakes in the UK, grass snake, adder and smooth snake. I don't believe that they are poisonous though and I would say they are really rare, I have yet to see my first snake.
Adders (Viper) are poisonous here in the UK, but to date I think only six people in the last 100 years have died from and Adder bite. There are a lot of Adders in parts of the country, but they are a very reclusive snake and are rarely out in the open.
Elfin magic! Love the slight pauses as you decide how best to negotiate the next tricky obstacle while keeping that camera hand steady. I myself needed both hands for balance to make my way over those moss-clad boulders and leaf covered roots beside you. The quality of the autumn lighting is so ephemerally special while the voice of moving water that accompanies you is ever engaging.

It was indeed a tricky walk to film, but it was so worth it! It really was the perfect time to film it!
Oh, this is going to be good. (Ties shoes, pulls on coat, allons-y!)
👍
Beautiful walk🎉🎉🎉
Thank you kindly! It's really appreciated!
