Honestly I have a lot more respect for Xie Lian now that I know the truth of his banishment the second time. I won't spoil it for others who don't know why he was banished the second time but I do have a lot of respect for Xie Lian for what happened.
and for how he handled it then and how he continues to handle it now. also I often think about xie lian has said that his biggest regret is his second ascension….

i like bl but when i try reading the chap 1 of the heaven official's blessing, i dropped it because i feel it's boring, guys what can you say? will it get good after? i feel like reading it but when i remember the chap 1, i don't know what to do. well, i need spoiler, hehehehehe
the first part is the prologue that gives a brief breakdown of the main character xie lian. it also helps to give timeline events and little spoilers. you have to keep reading to get the plot and the mystery behind the story. there’s a lot of angst which I love . totally should give it another try!
