OK...mind-blown! Took me over an hour and half to watch this video. NOT because it's difficult, but because I took notes, paused during the quiz parts (which was fun) and want to make sure I understand everything. Especially since I'm JUST learning about Futures Contract. I agree with you, that even though the broker will do the calculations it is best to understand and know the 'process' of what is what and how it's figured out. THANK YOU for sharing these videos. I'm going to nerd it out a bit and go over my notes and practice some of my own 'practicing' and then jump into Class 3! Time WELL spent this weekend.
After that being said, the micro product allows a trader to learn with much less capital while experiencing having real money at risk. I believe the micro product opens up that world to traders that would normally not be able to trade futures. Good luck with the course.

If the current price is 5.620 and it goes up by 1 tick, then I made $10,000? does that mean that the price of 1 contract at 5.620 is $56,200?
