Brother. Had AWESOME luck today since our last talk. Used a draw 10 on the revenant banner, pulled a shao Kahn, sindel, frost and skarlet in the same 10 pack. We are off to the races now. Paired noob with shao as defenders, with sindel and quan chi 🔥 already got to level 4 of boss tower across the board, and 48 in chasm
That is damn lucky, holy hell.

@Vendetta_64 Shadowmancer Noob Saibot is amazing. Johnny's Relic is alright. Its drawback is that only 3☆ Johnny Cage can currently use it. Once we get a Johnny Cage variant, it will be amazing.
Very useful infos. I have both Noob Saibots + Quan Chi already... I am saving resources for the 4th member... should I wait for Shinok or just go for Hellfire Scorpion?

I believe you missed mentioning that as a new f2p player, you can install and uninstall the game before linking your account to reroll your first "legendary" character drop. This is very useful since after you complete the first chapter with all the rewards, it is extremely difficult to get good characters, and your resources are very limited. So I would recommend rerolling until you get a decent tank like Artika Sub-Zero or Undying Shao Kahn (super essential have one of them), and some high-tier attacker or sniper like Sindel and the two versions of Deadeye. Once you've caught any of them by rerolling (first 5* drop in fight 2 and summoning using the orbs you got as rewards before fight 4), you'll be ready to advance through the game focusing only on them and saving up krystals. That is if you are full f2p, of course, because the game offers a bunch of packages for whales.
I didn't mention rerolling because I have been playing my F2P account without rerolling, with a single 5☆, and have been progressing just fine. I haven't mentioned Arena Boosting for the same reason.

I always use my krystals for hero pulls 🙈 I got lucky n got wind God as first 5* then with the welcome skulls I pulled Skarlet n frost 🙈 only been playing 2days
Nearly got them 3 plus scorpion maxed at 4* only thing now is I can't 3* some missions cos I don't have some types lvled up to beat the stages 3*

Why do you consider haste item sets useless? I always thought higher attack speed is a good stat
There is only one source of Haste in the entire game right now, which is Primary Stat from Accessory. This means even if you get a T4 Accessory with Haste, your max Haste amount is 40. The set bonus is only 20%, meaning you take up 4x gear slots for a whopping +8 Haste at best. That amount of Haste is garbage.

Tier 4 is currently. What's interesting is that even Stage VIII of Boss Tower only drops Epic as the highest rarity, but we see Legendary Gear in dev screenshots... wonder when we can get our hands on that?

More important to progress farther. Can always go back to 3☆ for Krystals.
Can some relics improve noobs healing? I saw a medallion that increases healing by 15% but want to make sure
Yes. Dragon Medallion is actually the most effective for precisely that!

The 7-day calendar is a New Player Login Rewards calendar. If your account isn't literally brand new, you won't have it. If you started on Launch Day it will have already concluded.

ey, thanks for the knowledge and info but luck has to do with the blue skull orbs.... I had enough for 8 orbs... just 8 and I got lucky..... just guessing because it wasn't a brand new character but I pulled 2 of the Revenant Katana.....just saying....

I know this game at it's core is just like strike force... a recourse management game.... and thanks for the vids... i've made my way threw a few of the prelaunch vids and look forward to more... I the Katana might be mid at max but I have really done anything to her... have the wind god, scorpion , to work one.... and just trying to focus on what i need too...

This video should be updated, because haste stat is not useless, your auto skills recharge faster.
Never said Haste stat was useless. Said Haste Gear Set Bonus was useless, which it is.

Tanks - Health, Defense, Tenacity
Bruisers - Attack, Health
Warriors - Critical Chance
Assassins - Critical Chance
Attackers - Critical Chance
Snipers - Critical Chance
Support
Defensive - Health, Defense, Tenacity
Offensive - Attack, Critical Chance
If it mentions any bonuses to critical chance, use critical damage instead of attack
Haste is useless
Masteries are useful either
One quick amendment to this:
The 4x Classes where you only listed "Critical Chance" should say "ATK + Critical Chance" and that is only true _until_ you surpass 50% Critical Chance, at which point Critical Damage will be better.
Also please note that these recommendations are true in _most_ cases, but not all. There are characters with unique mechanics that make them worth gearing differently. For example, Cyrax's Special will hit up to five additional times for every 100 Accuracy he has up to 500 Accuracy.
When will the first update be? Theres a lot of things they need to fix.
We don't know yet, but likely not super soon. There is an entire MK1 Scorpion Event that hasn't even started yet that we are definitely getting this patch.

Do you use an emulator? If so what kind?
No. I cast my phone to my PC with an app called Vysor which does let me use a mouse, however.

I wanted to like this game, but I kinda think it’s terrible. Not sure yet.
It needs some work, but so far the devs have been good listeners.
im really enjoying it the only problem is the coins and the fact you get stuck every other level

Why is Haste worthless?
Haste isn't worthless. Haste is great. Haste Gear Set is utter trash.
All fighters have 0 Haste by default. The only source of Haste in the game is from an Accessory piece's Primary Stat. You can't get it as a substat. So best case scenario, you get a T4 Haste Primary Stat Accessory and max it out at level 15, giving you a grand total of 40 Haste.
This means the most possible benefit you can get from a 4-Piece Haste Set Bonus is a whopping +8 Haste.... and you have to occupy 4x Gear slots to get it.
Not even remotely worth.
Just got into the game 3 days ago. I think you should reccomend to use crystals on boss towers refreshes for the gold, since youd get more gold for auto wins then the chest of gold.

I am constantly rank #1 to #3 on the ladder. This game is trash. I keep fighting the same 5 god damn people.

@@Khasino yes. It is forcing me to face the same 5 to 8 people. Even upon "refreshing" opponents in arena queue with crystals. Its boring dog shit. The same 5 to 8 names no matter what I do.
@@AgentLazarus Right, but your problem is that you are too strong... so it's a problem you created for yourself. I'm sure eventually the Arena Shards will get merged, but for the time being, if you are at the top, you shouldn't be complaining about how few opponents are up there with you...
@@Khasino I didn't create a problem for myself. It could give me more than 5 to 8 people. Maybe like 20 or something would be way more acceptable. The people that made the game created it to be river trash like that. I'm not the one that made the game a piece of trash. Just because I'm up there in the top three doesn't mean that I should have to face the same few people. That's boring nonsense and horrible design. Quit defending this garbage ass game. People literally quit after playing for one day. Almost the whole player base. The game is already dead and you don't know what you're talking about. Not to mention all of the people that have level 100 characters already by having to spend money to do so which is very pathetic
