Reader Rabbit 2 is a game created by The Learning Company. Despite the title, Reader Rabbit 2 is the sixth game of the series to feature Reader Rabbit, the fifth being Reader Rabbit 1, which is a remake of the first Reader Rabbit game in 1989.
some of these sounds were buried deep in my brain for years but i remember how satisfying there were to listen to as a kid
Right? What is that?? You wouldn't be able to recall this freely, but the slightest trigger & you remember All of this perfectly. For me the visual is Really strong. Its kind of crazy.
I played this game at my local school when I was younger. Boy, the childhood memories comes back to you when you see it again.
ya for me it's been so long since I've played this game, and I'm so glad I was able to get a free 2-day trial from when I bought the Reader Rabbit 1 CD.

I am 26 years old. I still have respect for Reader Rabbit programs!
I still enjoy watching the past.
+Lingyan203 I miss this game when I was a kid.
I can't quite remember if I played this game as a kid or not.
I played this at my school when I was 5 years old, and then the school got rid of the game for some reason. So my parents went to go buy the game for me, but we didn't know which one it was.
Luckily, we unintentionally bought the remastered version with all the crazy good animation and awesome music. So it was the same game, but a million times prettier for me as a kid.
We totally lucked out hahaha
I remember this game and i don't have it anymore!
Omg, the Bunny Bump! Did not notice that years ago.
This is one of my favorite games as a kid. My parents got me the set with all the learning company games in it. And this was one of them. I wish I could still play it. Thanks for the memories
I had a cd that had this game, Ali N with Operation Neptune and a creative writing game. They were my favorites. ❤️
I played Reader Rabbit 2 at school when I was little.
Thank you so much for uploading this. I played this so much as a child.
When I was little the version I played, Silvia Skunk had a scarier and more ghetto sounding voice like Susie from the rugrats. But anyways good game.
I remember playing this when I was in grade 2

At 3:51:54, a person clicks the stop sign. Reader Rabbit says, "Do u want to leave Reader Rabbit two?" Instead of a person clicks the yes sign Reader Rabbit says this, "Bye bye." & wish a person clicks the no sign as wish Reader Rabbit says this, "Let's play some more."
Best wishes, this is Michael Meneses.

How can you play this now? I have a Mac and wish I could convert or play it in this day and age. Do you still play it on an old computer or on a present day one? I’m dying to know.
I loved this game and yet Reader Rabbit's eyes scared the crap out of me as a kid

this program does not run on 64 bit windows systems or with dosbox. requires microsoft windows version xp or earlier to run because it's a 16 bit application.

I had this game which came in a bundle game along with another game I can't remember the name
Memories 😂
P.S: I can't wait to see Reader a Rabbit Reading Development Library 2 soon.
If I had that game I would do it, but right now I don't have it. I'll see if I can get it somehow.
mag237
I do not think they are making Reader Rabbit the same way as you remember.
I seen images of Reader Rabbits new looks and I would have preferred the old way he was. Sam the lion also looked different.
Personally, I prefer the DOS version!
3:51:55 Exit
Can you give me a download link for this?!?! I would really love to have this game again! I tried the Doss version but it wasn't the right one that I remember because it had no talking in it like this one does! If you can find a download link for me that would be fantastic! If you got one I will get back with you as soon as I can because I don't always have Wi-Fi and thanks for the video! Many thanks because I remember playing this in elementary school!
I'm this old. Sigh
