How to Install & Compress Hood Support/Strut/Lift

Do your hood no longer stays open? And after you installed your new hood support, it seems like now it don't want to shut 🤔. We'll you came to the right place my friends. I can show you my hack to fixing a stuck open hood and replacing failed one.

•Please have someone to help you to hold your hood open.
•Keep new hood strut away from dirt and high temperatures.
•Lube at your own risk 🛑 Best recommendations is to take new one back if it is not compressing.

Awesome video. I ordered some hood struts and they are not compressing at all. Got replacements, but they did the same thing. Mine does not have the little hole to spray WD-40, but do u think i can spray on top of it?
