Hey Everyone, thank you so much for all the comments, feedback, and excitement you brought to this video! I really do appreciate everyone that took the time to like, subscribe and comment, it really means alot, and I hope to continue to grow, get better, and bring you content that makes you stick around! Well with out further ado, we have a winner for the 2024 Revised D&D Players Handbook. @gabrielczernik you have won the 2024 Revised Players Handbook. Please reach out to me at twohandedboardgaming@gmail.com, with your address! I want to get the book out to you so you can start reading and playing with the new rules asap!
Honestly I wasn't too interested on switching to the "new" edition, but ever since they started releasing those videos on how each class was changed, they got me. The concept of trying to double-down on what made each class and subclass special was spot on to make people want to transition to the new books. Thank you for the giveaway and for the flip through, I couldn't wait to check out the changes to Monk and Warlock. I'm forwarding this video to all my friends.😁
Pretty good video man, If you haven't heard of it you should try playing /unboxing Eldritch horror. IT'S A LONG GAME, but so much fun. I hope the gen con dnd panel was actually good, I heard some mixed reviews.
Thanks for sharing your copy and this flip thru. I honestly hadn't been too intetested in the new version, but seeing your vid and the interior of the book has me thinking about getting it. Cheers!
Super hype about Weapon Masteries. In particular, Nick represents a huge buff to dual-wielding as a playstyle in that it no longer consumes your bonus action, making dual weilding significantly more viable for classes like rogue that have other important uses for their bonus action.
I believe thats apart of the changes they wanted to make, in order to make dual-wielding more viable. From what I've seen so far its looks like martial classes seems to be getting quite a few tweaks to incentivise greater interest in playing them.
The new PHB is really crisp and clean and it looks very easy to read and page through, I would love to get a copy of this through this giveaway. First time seeing a video of yours very nice to see what the book actually looks like. Thanks.
Hey Everyone, I mentioned in the video Sunday being the day to draw a winner, but I'll let this run for a whole week, which will put it until Tuesday 13AUG. I'll post the winner then and they can reach out to me at twohandedboardgaming@gmail.com with their mailing address. Good luck!
Awesome video man! I've been looking at whatever I could find but it was really cool getting to see page by page, the book looks really nice. I really enjoy the introduction of Origin Feats, and the move more towards how your character has lived instead of just what race they are. As for the Gieaway portion, it's really awesome of you to be doing this! I personally have never been able to afford a phb along with the fact I've only been playing for a few weeks at this point and I love it, and honestly this would be an awesome way to be able to get my first phb! Since personally I don't have the finances for it and also it would just be really cool to share with my group :D
Thank you @ImEveGaming. Yea I'm really liking the Character Origins Chapter, and I hope they build upon it with more backgrounds going forward. Best of luck for the drawing!
This was my first time seeing the book. I've heard a few things and am excited for the release of this handbook. Been playing for decades so I'm always excited for new DnD content. I can't wait to get a copy of this and start testing and playing with my group. There are a couple things I'm already looking to edit but overall this seems like a great edition to 5e.
Honestly everything looks so good right now, with what I've heard of all the latest changes to mechanics like conditions and some of the feat revamps, I'm super excited to finally get to play one of my new games with my players ASAP using these rules, here's hoping I win 😁
First video recommended to me from this channel and honestly, it's a good one. I love the cheerful demeanor and just casual flipthrough of the book, I've been dying to get my hands on a copy (giveaway or not) since I heard it was coming out, hope I get it, but then again, I'm sure whoever gets it will be real happy!
Great video :) The text on pages is pretty hard to read with the resolution though. Any chance you could scan/take pictures of pages? I buy every book, and will buy this one too, but I’d love to be able to play this one sooner than later even if I don’t win your contest
I think I may be safe from the WOTC overlords if you can't see it all with crystal clear clarity! I'll try to improve future videos with better resolution though.
Long time player, lots of hype for the new manual... unfortunately even thinking about GenCon was out of the question, as I live in Italy, but getting the book would be... well, would be absolutely fantastic!!
I’m incredibly excited for the new edition! The promise of new mechanics and adjustments has me eager to see how they’ll enhance our games. D&D is a hobby I deeply love, and with Wizards of the Coast leaving Brazil, this is a unique opportunity to secure a copy of this highly anticipated book before it becomes harder to find. I’m counting down the days to dive into everything this new edition has to offer!
@gabrielczernik, Congratulations you have won the drawing! Please reach out to me asap, so I can get it shipped out to you, so you can get to reading and playing right away! 😃
no, don't spend money on Wizard of the Coasts (The producer of D&D). They did so much shit (including sending actual gangsters, the Pinktertons, to a customer's house to intimidate him), do not give them money.
@@XpVersusVista Just looked the Story up im Not from america but as dar as i can See the pinkertons a Not Gangster but a privat secruity Firm. Also wotc was very nice about it with the guy offered something in exchange because they had to take a unreleased Pack back. Dont See the Problem
I like some of the new art a lot, like that dwarf fighter! I like that they cleaned up the layout a bit, but I wish they would have gone a little farther with it. Glad I could come by your channel :)
Great video giving a quick glance at the new book! can't believe this video showed up on my homepage didn't even know gencon was selling books there lol. The feat revamps are a bit worrying to me because from what I have seen so few feats are available at early levels which is a bit sad. Here's hoping I might win the book!
first video iv seen of yours i had to miss gen con this year so i couldn't get down there so i hope i win this so me and my friends can use this book in our weekly dnd games thx for the chance man
So I have so many interests in the gaming sphere, I would rather have someone get this earlier than me that will get it to the table before I have time to.
Hi, thank you for flipping through the book and providing your thoughts. I'm somewhat of an "expatriate" of 5e after all the OGL nonsense and all surrounding it, but I maintain some interest in what is happening with the 5e updates as a matter of course, since D&D is (and maybe always will be) the leading game that shapes the TTRPG space in some ways, and my friends will likely want to at least try it after it comes out. Very nice of you to raffle off a PHB for your new subscribers... take care & be well.
@entrench, I'm very much a one foot in and one foot out with Wizards. They really fumbled the whole OGL debacle and turned off a huge segement of dedicated players. I'm in the camp of reluctant hopefuls that wants to see more goodwill from Wizards towards their Dungeons and Dragons customer base.
I can't believe you have so little view! I basically looked to this video frame by frame! Such a shame you went a bit "quick" on the spells... could you maybe make a video only for the spells? This would be great!
I'd like to offer some good spirited, if unsolicited, constructive feedback. I made it less than four minutes into the video and stopped. My inexpert advice is to try to tighten up the video A LOT. Focus on your central subject matter as much and as early as possible. Starting off with a meandering story about the details of how you got the book doesn't matter to anyone interested in what's in the book, which (I presume) is what this video is supposed to be about. Note that I've never made a video. I have no idea the effort that goes into it. My only expertise is in watching them. :) Best of luck with the channel. I'd love to see this channel and others like it have more success. Cheers
Feedback is always welcome and highly valued. But its true, most of the time I just have to get in and get going and kind of go with the flow, which is why I tend to ramble. However I do need to at least have a few notes/bullets to keep me focused while filming. Thank you for taking the time to respond!
By copywrite law you cant share full book pages of the whole book. Its like sharing a whole movie on youtube. You can show sections of the book but not like this. As the previous commenter said, be careful
@@Mr.OwlGamer Thankyou for the feedback. I didn't show every page of the book. I would argue on fair use that I can page through the book and talk about what I'm seeing. At the end of the day, If I'm approached to pull it down under the auspices that is does not meet fair use, I certainly will.

Starting to DM once the new update comes out. An advance copy would probably help me become more informed.
I’m SUPER excited for the changes to the Monk! I love playing a monk and the old version just gets lackluster at higher levels.

Yea, from what I've read so far I think many folks will come away with good feelings on whats been updated, added, and rebalanced.
I like how the origin section has landscape arts for each individual background. It sparks my imagination on how a character home may look like
Same here, it has some elements or similarities to the Warhammer Fantasy RPGs professions that I rather like.

Just a heads up, WOTC has been pulling down videos like this with people showing full pages. Good luck! Thanks for the flip through!
