Bahut hi important topic hai aaj ka.Pre recorded cassettes to after some time create additional sound.This proves that the inner wheels are dragging and stretching the tapes.Meltrack,Murugappa electronics ,south India ka, bahut hi accha play hota hai aaj bhi aur fungus bhi nahin lagta.
Nakamichi, Denon,Onkyo Cassette decks mein high quality cassettes hi play karna chahiye.Indian cassettes ko agar play karna hi hai to Indian Cosmic Cassette deck better hai.Please note that the cassette tape reels move somewhat freely otherwise the tape if gets stretched then it will get damaged.Alwsys keep the cassettes in plastic pouch type with a press lock.The cassetes last longer and the main covers are also scratch free.

Sir, that was a very informative video. I am also facing a similar issue: I have a collection of 1990s cassettes. Some expensive ones of English songs and Golden Collection of HMV, others from Tips, T-Series, Venus, etc. I enjoyed them for many years on my Philips Sound Machine. Then I sold the Philips system and for a long time these cassettes were stored away. Some 5 years back I purchased a new Toshiba Boombox and enjoyed playing these cassettes for 2 years. Then because of my mom's health issues, I kept away from entertainment. Now last year I tried to play again, none of these cassettes are playing in this system. No sound at all. When the expensive cassettes are played an abnormal feeble output is heard. Sir what can be the problem ? Hope you will guide me 🙏
These people writers, singers, musicians whom all the Indians loved to listen all over the world, go east or west we our artists were loved the best. After 2014 the same persons are now made to be hated. Man tadpat Hari Darshan ko writers singers and music directors have been made villians.
That's not true. These artists were loved and are still loved for their art. However the manner in which intolerance for other religions and communities has grown is. Matter of deep concern and the world has become a disturbed and hateful place. Everyone must work on their tolerance for each other.

Pre recorded tapes have another issue over a period of time they degrade on their own, they leave the resin used to coat the tapes on the tape head, request Sh Jai Virat to provide solution to this common problem.
Cassettee mere pass Old filmo ke 1500-2000 per ab player nahi hone ke karan maine safe me band kake rakh diya hai. Syad future me deck phir se waps ayega.
Sir in 91-92 I got aware of Recording a cassatte....earlier we use to buy pre recorded cassettes only.... but soon a revolution of cassatte recording came. So I use to buy a blank cassatte (poor cheap T-Series) and let the shopkeeper record it my list of songs... for some time it continued that way.. the i realised this is getting expensive as compared to a 22-25 Rs pre recorded cassatte... I was looking for some alternative and one day along with a friend I went to weekly FLEA market (chor bazar) there I saw some amazing Blank cassatte like TDK,Maxxell,BASF,Scotch....we use to buy those at 5/- each...offcourse they were used....so when I recorded my songs on them and use to give those to friends to listen to....they use to think that it's something to do with the recording shop that my cassattes are sounding so good..later we realised that it's due to the quality of cassattes I buy from chor bazar. although I never understood what those names and numbers like Metal,chrome,Type II, High Fedility etc etc.....mentioned on the cassattes. but one thing was sure that in that flea market il between thousands of scrape cassates I was able to pick the best. sorry for a long mssg but that's my memories and personal experience of Cassattes
One more thing I forgot to add is after I use to buy those used cassattes from flea market before giving them for recording I use to open them and deep clean any dust present.... also clean the head.... and on some occasions have made joint on the tape also only when the tape quality was excellent and restoring was needed

Please, don't keeps the cassettes tapes near to the speakers for a long times. Speaker's magnetic fields also destroy the sound quality of the Cassette recording.

I have over 1200 audio cassettes and know how difficult it is to keep them alive.
Digital music is the way forward, I have thrown away most of my collection except disco and digitalised all the albums.

Change the rubber pulley and wipe the brass pulley nicely with some alcohol
