Similarly, buying or selling Insurance product from a company X that is involved in interest based financing/transactions is Halal or Haraam ??
I read an article that says if we cannot take insurance, because these companies take our money, and place into riba-based banks, then what about all other companies who do the same, such as Apple, Samsung, Microsoft? Logic says if I can't get insurance, then I shouldn't be able to buy phone, laptop, or computer from these companies? Am I right or wrong?
Every single company on Earth takes or pays interest. That’s the world of finance, otherwise economic growth couldn’t be possible as we know it. Interest is healthy and it allows people and companies to lend to one another and control risk accordingly. Basing our actions on some comments made 1500 years ago when no one could foresee how complex the market would become is preposterous. Discouraging people from taking insurance is silly and dishonest. You need insurance to protect yourself from uncertainty, otherwise the consequences would be dire should the feared event happen!

Many companies run on business loans and we work there as employees and earn salary. That also becomes haram then. How can we determine the money we are getting paid is haram? We cant without proofs. Why to speculate about companies involving in interest without solid proof?

Assalam O Alaikum I work in a call center that provides interested customers who want additional benefits on their current insurance plan. My position is customer service and I confirm the eligibility of interested customers and connect their call to the licensed local agent who provides them benefits. I've heard of many scholars that selling insurance directly is Haram but my job doesn't include selling of any insurance. I only confirm whether the customers has recieved additional benefits and then I transfer the call to the local agent. After that I don't know what happens so will my salary be halal. Note: We don't ask them to buy insurance. We only ask them whether they have recieved additional benefits on their current plan and if they haven't, we transfer their call to the local licensed agent.
Thats not the reason why insurance is haram and takaful is halal. The reason is because of the contract that used in insurance. They use buy and sell contract where the subject matter is the "incident". This introduce element what we call gharar (uncertainty) and maysir (gambling). The transaction only completed when the "incident" happen. This makes insurance haram in islam. So why do takaful is halal? The contract used is tabarru' (donation) on the contribution and ta'awun (mutual assitance) when the "incident" happen. where the 1st transaction is completed and second transaction is only embark and completed upon the "incident". Just like most of islamic finance product, if you just look at the face value it will look the same,but when you drill down into the agreement its different kind of contract.
Most of the companies are involved in interest so benefiting from buying their products e.g. phone, jio internet, reliance electricity, etc is Haraam too ??
I know a lady.. she is a Muslim.. she don't have husband and he died.. her daughter also don't have husband as he left her and went with another woman.. this lady has a baby girl.. so.. is this a good think? Say if that mother died to.reason.. what will happen to that baby girl? At this moment they are very poor and struggling for food..now if they have a policy and if she is not there the company will.pay a huge amount for survive
These kinds of examples will not make an unlawful thing lawful.. Replace interest based insurance in your example with selling drugs .. Will it make selling drugs legal.. So there is a fundamental flaw in your thinking.. Pathetic situation of poor people is not a licence to do something illegal.. Having said that it is the duty of the well off to help the poor. Especially the state has to help them..

unless you wear a religious dress of another religion (like what pope wears, or hindu pandits wear or ther religious pandits) other dresses are allowed, in a modest way. Wearing jeans is as permissible as wearing a shalwar qameez. Plus. Men follow Islam as much as women, a few bad people dont demonstrate the majority. I would request you to change you sample size and population and reobserve them. You will in sha Allah find practicing Muslim men as well.

David Jones Well if you look at western loans and credit cards contracts today with rates of 20%, 30% or higher it is nothing but pure oppression that financially destroys a struggling borrower. Allah says in the Qur'an that he will wage war against the people that earn money from these kinds of interest profits. Thus obviously we should not take interest from people who borrow from us or less obvious, savings accounts, but we should also not pay interest as commanded by Prophet Muhammad (SA), or work for financial companies that make their income from collecting interest
Whole Africa is in debt because of interest. You create money when you give interest, inflation happens, because purchasing power increases. And then you get economic recession ,poverty, and the list goes on and on.

Insurance is not haram in Islam. Also Riba is also haram if done in proper way. Only manipulation in business for self benefit is haram in Islam. If interest is haram then all Muslim in india consume haram product, because Indian economy is interest based economy. Even if you purchase phone,shirt, pant etc products, which involve big capital is made with interest income. This all product should be consider as haram? Dr. Zakir, I'm working with United Nations the insurance is chosen for us, if me alone go to see the management ask them to change my insurance company I will even not listen, because the insurance is chosen for all national staff together, not that everyone can choose. Interest, drugs, alcohol, immoral sex, gambling are the poisons of society which are banned in Islam, women had a say in politics in Islam in 7th century, now in 19th century Western world gave the rights to women, before that they were treated as objects, Islam restricted polygamy, no other religion did that. (I went to him) and found 'Umar bin Al-Khattab sitting with him. Abu Bakr then said (to me), "Umar has come to me and said: "Casualties were heavy among the Qurra' of the! Qur'an (i.e. those who knew the Quran by heart) on the day of the Battle of Yalmama, and I am afraid that more heavy casualties may take place among the Qurra' on other battlefields, whereby a large part of the Qur'an may be lost. Therefore I suggest, you (Abu Bakr) order that the Qur'an be collected." I said to 'Umar, "How can you do something which Allah's Apostle did not do?" 'Umar said, "By Allah, that is a good project. "Umar kept on urging me to accept his proposal till Allah opened my chest for it and I began to realize the good in the idea which 'Umar had realized." Then Abu Bakr said (to me). 'You are a wise young man and we do not have any suspicion about you, and you used to write the Divine Inspiration for Allah's Apostle. So you should search for (the fragmentary scripts of) the Qur'an and collect it in one book)." By Allah If they had ordered me to shift one of the mountains, it would not have been heavier for me than this ordering me to collect the Qur'an. Then I said to Abu Bakr, "How will you do something which Allah's Apostle did not do?" Abu Bakr replied, "By Allah, it is a good project." So I started looking for the Qur'an and collecting it from (what was written on) palmed stalks, thin white stones and also from the men who knew it by heart, till I found the last Verse of Surat At-Tauba (Repentance) with Abi Khuzaima Al-Ansari, and I did not find it with anybody other than him. The Verse is: 'Verily there has come unto you an Apostle (Muhammad) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty..(till the end of Surat-Baraa' (At-Tauba) (9.128-129) Then the complete manuscripts (copy) of the Qur'an remained with Abu Bakr till he died, then with 'Umar till the end of his life, and then with Hafsa, the daughter of 'Umar. 510: Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman came to Uthman at the time when the people of Sham and the people of Iraq were Waging war to conquer Arminya and Adharbijan. Hudhaifa was afraid of their (the people of Sham and Iraq) differences in the recitation of the Qur'an, so he said to 'Uthman, "O chief of the Believers! Save this nation before they differ about the Book (Quran) as Jews and the Christians did before." So 'Uthman sent a message to Hafsa saying, "Send us the manuscripts of the Qur'an so that we may compile the Qur'anic materials in perfect copies and return the manuscripts to you." Hafsa sent it to 'Uthman. 'Uthman then ordered Zaid bin Thabit, 'Abdullah bin AzZubair, Said bin Al-As and 'AbdurRahman bin Harith bin Hisham to rewrite the manuscripts in perfect copies. 'Uthman said to the three Quraishi men, "In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Qur'an, then write it in the dialect of Quraish, the Qur'an was revealed in their tongue." They did so, and when they had written many copies, 'Uthman returned the original manuscripts to Hafsa. 'Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied, and ordered that all the other Qur'anic materials, whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt. Said bin Thabit added, "A Verse from Surat Ahzab was missed by me when we copied the Qur'an and I used to hear Allah's Apostle reciting it. So we searched for it and found it with Khuzaima bin Thabit Al-Ansari. (That Verse was): 'Among the Believers are men who have been true in their covenant with Allah.' (33.23) 511: Abu Bakr sent for me and said, "You used to write the Divine Revelations for Allah's Apostle : So you should search for (the Qur'an and collect) it." I started searching for the Qur'an till I found the last two Verses of Surat At-Tauba with Abi Khuzaima Al-Ansari and I could not find these Verses with anybody other than him. The word 'God' can have different meaning for different people. What Muslims/Jews call God, Christians call God the father, who is the creator of heavens and earth. Christianity holds the spiritual essence of Jesus to be the word of this heavenly father and so call him son of God. Muslims also believe Jesus was the word of the creator. All modern Christian sects reject modalism, the belief Jesus is the father. So, the only real difference is in the use of the word 'God' or 'son of God'.
Dear Quran is the word of Allah... In Quran Allah tala clarifies that people call Jesus as my son but its a sinful act.. In surah Iqlas Allah says: Tell them: Allah is one.. He is Absolute... He neither begets nor is begotten.. There is none comparable to him..
Quran 5:47: "And let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient." If we judge by what He has revealed, we find that Jesus said about Himself that He was "the light"(John 8:12) and "the resurrection" (John 11:25). Those are two divine titles of Allah... Jesus is God.:)

How can you even give a damm, look we in this country are insuranced by law. I don't have a islamic insurance here. So i get forced by law to join something haram. But then again Allah is forgiving when things happen under pressure and i need to be insuranced.

As per my understanding of islam, medical insurance is not haram rather it should be compulsory and managed by the Govt in form of health tax just like road tax, income tax etc etc and provide free health care to all. In a ideal islamic govt it would be binding upon the govt to provide free health care and take funds from public for it based on % of income. As for people living in non islamic countries where interest is involved, if they have resources they should avoid medical insurance but if they cant afford health care it would be permissible for them as its better to have it rather than to beg people for fund and get im a debt circle.

Even if a Medical insurance is allowed in Islam, don't go to a quack doctor, like this, for the Medical, despite him saying, 'I am a medical doctor' , one hundred times or more.

Please tell me 10 invention invented in Islam Since Islam form. There is only two condition. One is invention should be before 19th century.( Nowadays people shifting to any where in the world for education, research and jobs.) Second is this invention should be useful for any one. ( Nuclear bomb is not useful for me as a individual I'm not denying fact that this will save my nation but still not useful for me on daily basis.) Invention should be in any form. I read an article that says if we cannot take insurance, because these companies take our money, and place into riba-based banks, then what about all other companies who do the same, such as Apple, Samsung, Microsoft? Logic says if I can't get insurance, then I shouldn't be able to buy phone, laptop, or computer from these companies? Am I right or wrong?
Every single company on Earth takes or pays interest. That’s the world of finance, otherwise economic growth couldn’t be possible as we know it. Interest is healthy and it allows people and companies to lend to one another and control risk accordingly. Basing our actions on some comments made 1500 years ago when no one could foresee how complex the market would become is preposterous. Discouraging people from taking insurance is silly and dishonest. You need insurance to protect yourself from uncertainty, otherwise the consequences would be dire should the feared event happen!

I work in a call center that provides interested customers who want additional benefits on their current insurance plan. My position is customer service and I confirm the eligibility of interested customers and connect their call to the licensed local agent who provides them benefits.
I've heard of many scholars that selling insurance directly is Haram but my job doesn't include selling of any insurance. I only confirm whether the customers has recieved additional benefits and then I transfer the call to the local agent. After that I don't know what happens so will my salary be halal.
Note: We don't ask them to buy insurance. We only ask them whether they have recieved additional benefits on their current plan and if they haven't, we transfer their call to the local licensed agent.

Thats not the reason why insurance is haram and takaful is halal. The reason is because of the contract that used in insurance. They use buy and sell contract where the subject matter is the "incident". This introduce element what we call gharar (uncertainty) and maysir (gambling). The transaction only completed when the "incident" happen. This makes insurance haram in islam. So why do takaful is halal? The contract used is tabarru' (donation) on the contribution and ta'awun (mutual assitance) when the "incident" happen. where the 1st transaction is completed and second transaction is only embark and completed upon the "incident".
Just like most of islamic finance product, if you just look at the face value it will look the same,but when you drill down into the agreement its different kind of contract.

Allah says in the Qur'an that he will wage war against the people that earn money from these kinds of interest profits. Abu Bakr As-Siddiq sent for me when the people! of Yamama had been killed (i.e., a number of the Prophet's Companions who fought against Musailama). (I went to him) and found 'Umar bin Al-Khattab sitting with him. Abu Bakr then said (to me), "Umar has come to me and said: "Casualties were heavy among the Qurra' of the! Qur'an (i.e. those who knew the Quran by heart) on the day of the Battle of Yalmama, and I am afraid that more heavy casualties may take place among the Qurra' on other battlefields, whereby a large part of the Qur'an may be lost. Therefore I suggest, you (Abu Bakr) order that the Qur'an be collected." I said to 'Umar, "How can you do something which Allah's Apostle did not do?" 'Umar said, "By Allah, that is a good project. "Umar kept on urging me to accept his proposal till Allah opened my chest for it and I began to realize the good in the idea which 'Umar had realized." Then Abu Bakr said (to me). 'You are a wise young man and we do not have any suspicion about you, and you used to write the Divine Inspiration for Allah's Apostle. So you should search for (the fragmentary scripts of) the Qur'an and collect it in one book)." By Allah If they had ordered me to shift one of the mountains, it would not have been heavier for me than this ordering me to collect the Qur'an. Then I said to Abu Bakr, "How will you do something which Allah's Apostle did not do?" Abu Bakr replied, "By Allah, it is a good project." Abu Bakr kept on urging me to accept his idea until Allah opened my chest for what He had opened the chests of Abu Bakr and 'Umar. So I started looking for the Qur'an and collecting it from (what was written on) palmed stalks, thin white stones and also from the men who knew it by heart, till I found the last Verse of Surat At-Tauba (Repentance) with Abi Khuzaima Al-Ansari, and I did not find it with anybody other than him. The Verse is:
'Verily there has come unto you an Apostle (Muhammad) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty..(till the end of Surat-Baraa' (At-Tauba) (9.128-129) Then the complete manuscripts (copy) of the Qur'an remained with Abu Bakr till he died, then with 'Umar till the end of his life, and then with Hafsa, the daughter of 'Umar.
510: Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman came to Uthman at the time when the people of Sham and the people of Iraq were Waging war to conquer Arminya and Adharbijan. Hudhaifa was afraid of their (the people of Sham and Iraq) differences in the recitation of the Qur'an, so he said to 'Uthman, "O chief of the Believers! Save this nation before they differ about the Book (Quran) as Jews and the Christians did before." So 'Uthman sent a message to Hafsa saying, "Send us the manuscripts of the Qur'an so that we may compile the Qur'anic materials in perfect copies and return the manuscripts to you." Hafsa sent it to 'Uthman. 'Uthman then ordered Zaid bin Thabit, 'Abdullah bin AzZubair, Said bin Al-As and 'AbdurRahman bin Harith bin Hisham to rewrite the manuscripts in perfect copies. 'Uthman said to the three Quraishi men, "In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Qur'an, then write it in the dialect of Quraish, the Qur'an was revealed in their tongue." They did so, and when they had written many copies, 'Uthman returned the original manuscripts to Hafsa. 'Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied, and ordered that all the other Qur'anic materials, whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt. Said bin Thabit added, "A Verse from Surat Ahzab was missed by me when we copied the Qur'an and I used to hear Allah's Apostle reciting it. So we searched for it and found it with Khuzaima bin Thabit Al-Ansari. (That Verse was): 'Among the Believers are men who have been true in their covenant with Allah.' (33.23)
511: Abu Bakr sent for me and said, "You used to write the Divine Revelations for Allah's Apostle : So you should search for (the Qur'an and collect) it." I started searching for the Qur'an till I found the last two Verses of Surat At-Tauba with Abi Khuzaima Al-Ansari and I could not find these Verses with anybody other than him. (They were):
'Verily there has come unto you an Apostle (Muhammad) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty ...' (9.128-129)

The word 'God' can have different meaning for different people. What Muslims/Jews call God, Christians call God the father, who is the creator of heavens and earth. If we judge by what He has revealed, we find that Jesus said about Himself that He was "the light"(John 8:12) and "the resurrection" (John 11:25). Those are two divine titles of Allah... Jesus is God.:)

And if you do not, then be informed of *a war [against you] from Allāh and His Messenger.* But if you repent, you may have your principal - [thus] you do no wrong, nor are you wronged.

As per my understanding of islam, medical insurance is not haram rather it should be compulsory and managed by the Govt in form of health tax just like road tax, income tax etc etc and provide free health care to all. In a ideal islamic govt it would be binding upon the govt to provide free health care and take funds from public for it based on % of income.
As for people living in non islamic countries where interest is involved, if they have resources they should avoid medical insurance but if they cant afford health care it would be permissible for them as its better to have it rather than to beg people for fund and get im a debt circle.

Please tell me 10 invention invented in Islam Since Islam form. There is only two condition. One is invention should be before 19th century.( Nowadays people shifting to any where in the world for education, research and jobs.) Second is this invention should be useful for any one. ( Nuclear bomb is not useful for me as a individual I'm not denying fact that this will save my nation but still not useful for me on daily basis.)
Invention should be in any form. Like, Art, Science, Economy, Maths, Astronomy, Weapons etc.
For Example. 1) Zero invented in India without it we can't live a single day. 2) Glasses (spectacles) invented in Northern Italy once in life time every one have to use. If you don't need in this age you have to use when you cross 80. ect.
