Thank you for breaking it down so simply. I watched several videos from others and (for some reason) I just couldn't understand the whole anti- A, B... etc., but now I get it!
I just wanted to thank you , your videos really helped me , i'm from iraq and i told my friends about your videos and they all loved it . Thanks again .
You have no idea how long I was looking for a video to explain this. My goodness the nonsense I got about alien and blueblood and God gene, it was painful. A big thank you for such a informative video. Thumbs up!!!!!
+Justin Figueroa LoL, I thought the same thing and, of course, it was right after he said he was going to "dumb it down." I actually thought it was quite funny. We all make mistakes.
You're awesome ! My blood bank professor just reads her pre printed slides, and this book is so confusing. I've had A&P I and A&PII but kind of got confused on this for some reason.
when i was young my neighbor who had Ab- use to be called to Tampa General Hospital when in need of his Blood. This is like 50years ago They payed him 50.00 donation back then can you tell me why?
When rh negative mother has rh positive foetus then in 2nd pregnancy incomplebility can be show because mother prepare antibody against rh antigen and antibody can pass through plasma membrame .... But when mother have blood group A and foetus has blood group B then we see incomplebility or not ?if not why ?
I missed the first two lectures on blood and hormones due to add/drop, I have been so lost these three weeks and have an exam Saturday am. I actually understand the ABO system now! Thank you :-) Now I can finally begin reviewing hormone functions and anatomy and physiology of the heart.
Alright my two sons and I have a blood disorder called VonWillebrands disease type 1. My older son and I have AB- and RH-, And my youngest son has AB+ and RH+.So my question is why didn't you tell us about the plasma on AB-RH- what happens when we need to be infused, because I heard that our blood is very rare for both types. So my oldest son and I use human plasma with Stimate and on bad bleeds we need Humate-P. And my youngest can only use Humate-P, and we all need Amicar to go along with them. So can you please help me understand that in case of an emergency why my youngest would be out of luck , and would the same go for my oldest son and I? I wanted to hear more about our rare blood types. And yes we all have dog tags, and go to the hematologist regularly except my oldest he is in prison, but he does get some help when he gets his teeth done. And of course my youngest and I have to be infused before dental procedures. So can you touch base on our situations. Thank you.
This is not a blood group. Von Willebrand disease is a genetic disorder caused by missing or defective von Willebrand factor (VWF), a clotting protein. VWF binds factor VIII, a key clotting protein, and platelets in blood vessel walls, which help form a platelet plug during the clotting process. So you just unable to make a blood clot if you bleed, so you will need medicine in a form of missing protein.
O- master race! My body rejects and destroys the blood of any other type beside my own and I can only receive my type of blood, but everyone else can receive my blood.
Thank you so much for this! You did so well at explaining an otherwise complicated subject. English is not even my first language but this was extremely well explained.
I have A- blood type, I have been told it is kinda rare. Why is that? Also I was told that A- blood are more prone to get C-19, so my question is why is that and is there some facts behind this?
I could follow up until the plasma part. What’s the difference between plasma and blood in respect to blood type o being a universal donor ,,, but in plasma it’s a universal Recipient ..?
Q: DR. WILL YOU PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO EXPLAINING WHAT OCCURS WHEN AN 'O-' MOTHER WITH AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE CARRIES A BABY WITH RH POSITIVE (+) BLOOD TYPE? THANK YOU :)
Is there a possibility some one would be told they are O+ and then later in life have a child natural without complications and then be told during a second pregnancy that they must receive RH shot because they are O- ? If so how is this possible?
If you were to do a drawing demo of the difference between BB and BO cells, would there be a difference? Would there be less B antigens on the BO cell? When donating organs, do they have to have a complete match with the amount of Antigens? Example: BB can/can't donate a kidney to BO. I use the example of BB and BO because I am BO NEG myself.
CAN you address the origin of blood types? Like where they originated from. I understand it from regional societies, then after migration, there were others that the specific regional society. It has a lot to do with types of food the society ate in their isolated region.
Hallo, i got a question. You said Blood type 0 is the universal donator, but if you give blood (blood type 0) to a person with blood type A for example, the anti a antibodies in the plasma of the type 0 blood will attack the antigen A on the recipients RBCs. Did i got this wrong ?
found it lol : Because blood is not used as a "whole" but separated to it's constituents - RBC, serum, platelets, white blood cells, and only needed parts of the blood would be used for transfusion. So people who belong to blood group O are universal donors of RBC but not of the plasma. People who belong to blood group AB would be considered to be universal donors of plasma.
Minor correction: probably you wanted to mean TRIANGLE, instead of rectangle. BTW, the best video ever I've seen on blood types. Could you please tell a little bit about the compatibility of Rh +/- as well?
I am AB positive blood type and for the Rh factor, i remain as RH Negative. Can you brief me into specifics of what this means, what it implies, and what science can explain of it?
RH negative = negative blood. You can't have RH negative and then produce positive blood, because that's not how it works. Unless you mean transfusions?
Ok, thank you for this- either my 9th grade tech science teacher was too jacked up on the "snow" to realize and acknowledge this, or they tested my blood wrong at the last blood drive i went to..
Under the front you my king center when comparing the plasma donation to the blood donation… It’s sort of like binary options for him to answer Ginger dragons breath person has type a blood they can receive type a plasma or a B plasma because as you located earlier, glad Mat is not going to have antibodies that or taxi a.m. if I understand correctly. Would help me understand this was binary Logic with numbers and opposites
Thank you for breaking it down so simply. I watched several videos from others and (for some reason) I just couldn't understand the whole anti- A, B... etc., but now I get it!
That was an exceptional explanation. Clarified all I wanted to know about blood type and RH factor.
I just wanted to thank you , your videos really helped me , i'm from iraq and i told my friends about your videos and they all loved it .
Thanks again .
Very well explained!! Thank you so much. I was confused on the Rh antigen but now it all makes sense.
Pp
Thank you so much.
I was confused, but when you mention the plasma, I understand everything.
what a fascinating method of clarification . thank you.
It can't get any more simple. Thanks! 💛
Great learning tool. Well done and thank you !
You have no idea how long I was looking for a video to explain this. My goodness the nonsense I got about alien and blueblood and God gene, it was painful. A big thank you for such a informative video. Thumbs up!!!!!
You are a great teacher, I have subscribed. Thank you for sharing this
thank you so much for his explanation! I think it's the best video that exists for this topic.
Thanks a lot you made these things crystal clear to understand :) really appreciated.
Dont want to be picky but he drew a triangle and said it was a rectangle
+Justin Figueroa If you don't want to be picky, then don't say anything. you obviously ARE being picky so at least be honest about it.
+Justin Figueroa LoL, I thought the same thing and, of course, it was right after he said he was going to "dumb it down." I actually thought it was quite funny. We all make mistakes.
Justin Figueroa lmaooo
Justin Figueroa stfu xD plz
😂
Thanks, great video my understanding of it is better.
Thank you so much, very nice and correct explanation for one of a confusing subjects!!!! Good job!!!
very good! very clear! thank you for your patience and reductionism teaching!

man you are awesome brother ...keep helping us !
Nice explanation! Thanks!
This was so so helpful! finally got it!
great xplanin...really helped on my test
Thank you for the clear explanation :)
thank you. very easy to understand the basics of blood typing,
Great tutorial! Thank you!
Very helpful....has made my understanding much better
thank you for the help. these videos are great
Fantastic video!! I am sharing it with my classmates!! Thank you!!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching
Thank you ! It was veryy helpful and detailed!
THANK YOU!! this helped me so much
around 11:40 when you say coagulation, is that the same as clumping?
i totally understand this concept now...thanks
Nice explanation. Thanks.
Thank you so much sir. Very helpful.
Thank you soooooo much!!!! That was wonderful
Thank you dfor simplifying this. made me understand this much better.
Thanks for sharing!!!👍👍👍☺️☺️☺️💯💯💯
Awesome JOB!!! thank you
Happy New year Thanks for teaching me about Blood
You're awesome ! My blood bank professor just reads her pre printed slides, and this book is so confusing. I've had A&P I and A&PII but kind of got confused on this for some reason.
Very nice explaination!
great video! was wondering if you have more clinical application examples in other videos.

would the rh factor affect the plasma compatibility, and if so how? and if not then i dont understand why it wouldnt.
The blood typ did changed when you get old?. I never had allergy now i do.thanks
Great Educational Video

May I recommend one of my videos :)
I liked the video bcuz
1) Good info
2) Ridiculous honesty at the end
Awesome video! This helped me tons.
Thank you. Your video is understandable
Excellent video! Just to clarify though, for the plasma compatibilities are they all (+), or it doesn't matter? Thank you for the video :)
So O rh negative doesn't have antigens at all. I want to know what is these antigens A, B and D..please. ..
What about the number in the blood type . For example: i got B3 negative . For what is number 3 ?
Thank you for making it simple, now can you make chemistry in college courses simple, thanks in advance. ❤️
So if i am A Positive & my pregnant girlfriend is O Negative, is that a potential problem?
Alright my two sons and I have a blood disorder called VonWillebrands disease type 1. Omg thank you! great video!
I have a positive blood type with Rh factor what does that means
O- master race! My body rejects and destroys the blood of any other type beside my own and I can only receive my type of blood, but everyone else can receive my blood.
Same, I only found out mine in a blood practical a few days ago
RumTumTuggy Nobody gives a fuck.
IM CONFUSED PLZ ANSWER ME .at 26;50 ....if AB plasma given to A wich has antibody B .wudnt it react with B Antigen of AB??????????
Every thing clear sir
thanks
Thank you so much for this! You did so well at explaining an otherwise complicated subject. English is not even my first language but this was extremely well explained.
What blood type is compatible for a person with blood type B negative?
thank you for the video
Is Plasma the same as negative blood type? Meaning no antibodies
Please does it mean that type AB has no antibodies in plasma
Much appreciated

Thanks great video. AB+ here universal recieptors, from A+, B+, O+ and also O-.... THANKS GOD FOR THIS BLOOD.
A RH Negative cannot receive blood from a Positive? They can give blood to a positive but only receive from another negative A or B or a O negative?
Is there a possibility some one would be told they are O+ and then later in life have a child natural without complications and then be told during a second pregnancy that they must receive RH shot because they are O- ? If so how is this possible?

Good job.
Why? Inherent questions can be answered.
Thanks 😊
Tooo helpful !!😁
what can you tell me about AB- blood

Yes BO would have less antigens B on the surface of RBC cause only one allele is present. But immune response would be the same.
CAN you address the origin of blood types? Like where they originated from. I understand it from regional societies, then after migration, there were others that the specific regional society. It has a lot to do with types of food the society ate in their isolated region.
Universal acceptor Universal donor ect is important but some videos say type o is universal without mentioning positive negative?
Hallo, i got a question. You said Blood type 0 is the universal donator, but if you give blood (blood type 0) to a person with blood type A for example, the anti a antibodies in the plasma of the type 0 blood will attack the antigen A on the recipients RBCs. Did i got this wrong ?
that really confused me too ! did you find an answer ?!!

MADE SIMPLE IN ONLY 30 F**CKING MINUTES?! JUST WHAT I NEEDED
can u explain it to me I'm still lost
Awesome, so I subscribe. Thank you.
Thank you so much
we are really going to nail this home guys
Question.. Hows that a rectangle on the blood type A? that's clearly a triangle!!
why o-ve cant be universal acceptor
thanks by the way. its help full
im rh sensitized. could you make a video on that?
I am AB positive blood type and for the Rh factor, i remain as RH Negative. Can you brief me into specifics of what this means, what it implies, and what science can explain of it?
RH negative = negative blood. You can't have RH negative and then produce positive blood, because that's not how it works.

Thank u u helped me alot
when we transfuse blood we also transfuse plasma. So how come it is possible that plasma don't react at that time? thank you in anticipation!
Because plasma is separated. You can see a different container for plasma when blood transfusions are done.
Under the front you my king center when comparing the plasma donation to the blood donation… It’s sort of like binary options for him to answer Ginger dragons breath person has type a blood they can receive type a plasma or a B plasma because as you located earlier, glad Mat is not going to have antibodies that or taxi a.m. if I understand correctly. as we know there is 4 blood types. A, B, AB and O.. so my question, is there such a blood type as Blood Type X?
Nope. Unless you're an alien.
Thanks
Great, thanks 30 minutes went fast!
I’m understanding
sorry but...ths video is confusing !! all those antibodies and compatibility explanation ws confusing.
why o-ve cant be universal acceptor
@@RoshanSharma-nr8dg Doesnt have the AB antigens so you'll make antibodies to them
hello....I really liked ur way of lecturing....I wanted lecture on pharmacology ....so wud like to no if u can.
getting your triangles and rectangles tangled
