    Conned the locals for decades.
Unintentionally did good work documenting cultural history.
And I bet a lot of those participating had a great time.

Fascinating and extremely well done video! I found out about it because it was this week's listener recommendation on the Slate Political Gabfest podcast.

This would still be a good move today. If you could put little kids into a super hero movie or something i bet people would still pay for it

I was JUST gonna say "Monorail"
Films were regional...not only in advertising...but in production as well. Surprised a lot of people didn't realize that. But then again, word didn't really travel that fast in years prior about various subjects ...even with telephones and postal service.

A friend of mine was one of those young actors (in Texas) - her line was "They went that-a-way!"

Thisvideo is edited really well. Great visuals and fluid commentary. Must have taken a great while gathering all the data and footage. I learned lots. Thank you!

This explains a lot of adults who claimed that they were in an "Our Gang" film as a child.

In the far future, it will explain the thousands of souls who'll claim to have clear past life memories as Our Gang kids.

I wonder how many of these films still exist, and I wonder just how many were made.

I finally broke down and went through the list of Nebula content creators and subscribed to the ones that caught my interest and... well, this one particularly stands out!

Many years ago I thought it would be funny if a serif font was named "Ironic Sans". I used that as the name of my blog, and years later it become the name of my newsletter and now my RUclips channel!
