I found that Vein of Ice is just as good as Flame at slowing down the enemy's advance as well. It's basically like casting 6 Obstructs right in front of you, it's insane. Corrin is definitely an S-Tier Ring when used effectively.
I had a lot of fun on multiple maps just using vein of ice to obstruct, it was pretty funny seeing enemies grouping up and wasting their turn opening my units to just onslaught them all in groups.

Alear feels more powerful and has a lot more going for them at this point (although miserecorde is a lot of fun), so just throw Corrin on spoiler unit for super Veyle
I put corrin on Merrin and she has absolutely carried my maddening run so far, aside from Alcryst with Lyn. She blows people up with the levin sword but most importantly can debuff and freeze large groups of enemies and then safely leave with cantor. This basically turns most boss fights into a joke since I can just freeze them over and over. I have barely used the dragon vein feature of corrin however, might give it more of a go in a future run.

A lot of people have been doing Yunaka + Corrin to create an insane dodge tank / crit machine that abuses Vein of Fog.

There is another character who can make full use of corrin later in the game. Could put it on them if you don’t want to use corrin on Alear.

I would honestly say that Micaiah with the multi-warp is just way too broken as she enables so many strategies that'd just be impossible without her.
Corrin's biggest issue is that it adds so many options to Alear's gameplay that I can't bring myself to use anything else.

this is a powerful ring. probably the 2nd best, but I'm gonna have to say Lyn>Corrin.
Corrin on Alear is busted. With the right build though Alear can basically solo the whole game on maddening.
I know for a fact that at least the boss of byleths paralogues movement cant be reduced to 0, but hobble from wolf knight still works :)
