How to Revive a Dead Dyson Battery - Replacing 18650 Cells through DIY Soldering

I had a dead 6-years-old Dyson V6 battery and tried to revive it with a new 18650 battery cells with more capacity. I purchased six Samsung 18650 battery cells with 3000 mAh capacity, which is 50% more than the original, from AliExpress at $16 ( s.click.aliexp... ). Without any spot-welder and nickel plate, I just used a typical lead soldering tool to make the electrical contacts. At the end, I found the protection board was faulty so that the battery was fully discharged. I had to replace the BMS-PCB by a healthy one. With more capacity and power, the revived and upgraded Dyson was so much loved and satisfied.
