It drove me nuts that many RUclips braiders sped over that part, I guess they assumed everyone knew how to do it OR they didn't know how to break it down like you did. Thank you so much, sis. I dont use the rubberbands. I just use the videos as a guide for good placement of the braids. This is the one I think I'm going to go with tomorrow, trying bigger braids for the first time.
I'm sorry, but I must be slow or something but I still can't see how you start the box braid at the beginning of the braid after it's been rubber banned. I still can't see what's being done.
Once you add rubber bands and hair you are no longer protecting your hair. It’s thin and this time to make some herbal growth oil and twists. My mom’s hair was thin and we used aphogee to thicken it up, no chemicals and rollers because she loved curls. For you twists and you can let it be free.

I am definitely going to do another one like this soon (box braids)..lol tbh.. cause i like the look of braids. I don't wear them long, couple weeks and that is it, cause my hair frizzes very easily. I am interested in the product you mentioned. I naturally have dry thin and course texture hair, since I was a baby, my mom told me, my hair didn't MATURE at all. It can grow, but it doesn't grow thick. If there was anything I could do to get thicker hair i would try. I have tried so many products and nothing really works. but i am going to try out this product you mentioned. Gonna check it out so thanks a lot. If it works, I will update you.

I have always been passionate about maintaining what God gave us. Hope you tried the aphogee.
